Honeyhome is no bustling city. It's the sort of place where people might be born and live their entire lives, unaware of the world beyond Eastern Brisshal. Yet its its location means it is a place of adventurers, and in this new age of the Starcalled there's more activity here than there's been in years. The general store, once nearly abandoned, bustles with a crowd that spills into the street as newcomers clamor for gear and supplies. And just outside, a blue-winged beastfolk sings a song that winds through the air, laced with Harmonic magic.
Through a sky stained blue do the stars tumble through
And alight upon the land
Through the spring-green sea they e'er travel free
'til among thee they do stand
Bluebird did not intend to draw attention. She hadn't even realized she'd been putting words to the melody of the bustling town, the faint whispers of emotion and thought from lander and traveler both. She'd just been another person waiting in line, singing to entertain herself. But then someone had looked her way, head bobbing along to her melody, and then another, and it wasn't long before she found herself performing for a small audience.
Day and night, the stars cast their light
Shining oh so clear and bright
Every word and deed a service, their creed
To rise up against the night
She's a little embarrassed. It's not a song she learned anywhere - she's more or less making it up as she goes, based on the little she knows of the world. But the people seem to be enjoying it, so she continues - at least until she's finished this song.
