A TS1 survivor, Blader X now wanders a world that she didn't understand before and understands even less now.
Burnt out, jaded, and just all around tired, Blader X is currently suffering a quarter life crisis and has decided to be a friendly neighborhood blader instead of the great hero or villian she once aspired to as The Absolute Beyond Cosmos Blader X.
Being forced to start over, she is searching for her purpose in life. What was she fighting for...?

Background
Blader X came to life one summer when Layla decided on a whim to master the sword. What followed was a strange commercial that gave her the avenue to do so in a world called Terrasphere. Layla's path was never certain or easy, but through many trials, tribulations, and a lot of sidetracking, Layla finally realized that her journey would be endless. And in that moment, Layla's sword became stagnant.
It was as though a great wave of suppressed realization had finally drawn back to shore. Layla had fought and fought and fought but the meaning behind her battles, the causes she had lent her sword to, shifted day by day. It had seemed so easy, sign up, show up, save the world. And yet, Friends became enemies, history was written in beach sand, and lives washed away like so much seafoam.
And so Layla left on a journey to find the means to end Terrasphere. And one day it all vanished without her ever accomplishing anything.
What awaited Layla in life after was what she had set aside. Namely, she was almost held back a year in school due to failing grades, had missed all the trends, found zero practical use for Blader Bushido in real life, and had acquired a whole list of experiences nobody could relate to.
And so Layla joined the track team. She taped her life back together and yet couldn't bring herself to abandon the blade. That, she practiced in secret in the neighborhood park.
And then some years later Terrasphere returned.
It was that same commercial.
A sunk cost fallacy brought her back. She had to know what it had all been for. What her journey meant and what she had lost sight of so long ago.
