Complete Apologetic Gratitude

Ronja nodded slowly. "This must be solved in a way or another." Ronja nodded. If she wanted to continue to go and play that game, they needed to solve these puzzles first.

The way Valeria told Ronja wouldn't push herself made her frown slightly, albeit softening her expressions when the more collective approach was mentioned.

Ronja giggled faintly. "Yes. Together... I can stand for this." She said with a warm smile that couldn't disappear from her lips any time soon.

A knocking on the door made Ronja perk her head up from the pillow, turning to glance at it while a stoic voice spoke something muffled behind the door. Ronja responded in german, a bit loud while covering the phone's mic to not hurt her friend's ears.

There was another response, followed by footsteps fading away, and Ronja returned her attention to the call.

"Sorry Val, dinner is ready, so I should get changed." She apologized. "Again, thank you for everything..." Ronja closed her eyes, taking a fond and gentle hold on her phone since she couldn't physically reach her friend right now.

She was glad that Ronja agreed with her spoken sentiment, a genuine smile tugging at her lips when Valeria heard the quiet giggles from the girl on the other end of the line. While there was a lot left to do within the game at least she could rest easy knowing that Ronja was taking things well and in stride.

The sound of muffled knocking signaled the incoming end of their conversation, and a glance to her screen confirmed it was getting quite late. A soft chuckle escaped as she listened to Ronja speak in her native language, before her friend confirmed what Val had already suspected.

"Don’t mention it. Go get ready, dinner’s always best when it’s still warm~" Her gaze focused on the picture of Ronja that displayed on her screen, and her smile seeped into her words as the blonde spoke. "I’ll catcha later in-game, and tell Nico I said ‘hi’..."

There was a slight awkwardness as she spoke, before the blonde seemed to gather her own courage as an addendum was added shortly afterwards. "Actually, if you’re having pasta tonight, tell her she sucks if she starts cutting it with a knife~"
