For Lucia, the time without the game had been almost pure hell. While she'd calmed down a lot from how she once was, it didn't stop her from loathing the real world, her disapproval for it would never really disappear completely as long as it remained the way it was. Unlike the game, there was no magic that could change things at a snap, no grand fate awaiting her, no place where she felt like she belonged that she didn't make herself. Truly it was a cursed place to her, but no matter how cursed, when she thought of the goddess who helped her through the game from the start, the one who looked over her journey no matter how modest, she couldn't just throw in the towel and die again in vain to become a permanent resident. Her lives as well as her deaths should mean something she thought for that goddess to be satisfied, and so she waited, and waited until this moment, and when it finally arrived she was beyond ready.
While others might have met others to talk about their time away or meet friends, Lucia began with sprinting. As fast as her legs could carrier her she left town and ran down the closest exiting road she could find. Swinging her head left to right to make sure she was on the right path to the outskirts where she wouldn't be seen. Trying to avoid the eyes of locals, guards or wanderers who might pass by, she chose a random hunting ground where gnolls and other beasts tended to gather. It would be a place for her away from the general public's eye, and while some might be in danger of attacks she didn't fear for her life from average beasts and creatures.
Once she was satisfied, she'd reach down towards the dirt with a smile on her face, bright, welcoming, full of emotion she hadn't experienced since being kicked out. "So, you've been waiting for me... All of you?" She asked while turning her head left to right. It was an empty grassy field, but those types of places had always been home for her in this game. Too eager to waste more time, she stood up right, arms out to project as the 7 black rings at her back began to rotate slowly like a gyroscope.
"Standing in the moment, waiting for the end.
There's gonna be a lesson, coming around the bend.
Every day I wander, looking for a thrill.
Can you hear the thunder, rolling down the hill?
I can't breath unless you, look at me and follow
I can't breath unless you look at me~
Were you satisfied with your life?
As you sleep through each night, do you feel alive?"
It was a long incantation, but it was one never suited for battle. As she sang each line, another one of her rings would break away from the others with a metallic ring. Bound in glittering purple threads they spread out to form a boundary around her, with each ring leading threads back towards her. With strings in hand, she began repeating the lines again 'Are you satisfied?' calling out again and again as she tugged the strings, tangling and untangling like a puppeteer.
It wouldn't take long for her movements to produce results. After only a few gestures, armored hands began to break through the soil digging their way out. Some pushing out furniture or posts, others carrying carpets or racks out of the ground. Dressed as paladins wrapped in black armor, each resembled a black knight but one was special among the others. Reaching out more lightly armored, with long draconian spear in hand, her General rose to her feet.
"Leader... I've heard your call."
"Sylvanas."
"I too, have answered the call Miss."
"Mortimer?"
The second one seemed to manifest from the air rather then the soil. Like a black gust of smoke, the long coat and lack of legs that instead only left an indistinct smoke-y billow instead. Her steward Mortimer appeared with shadow covered face obscured by a porcelain mask. The man bowed in a gentlemanly manner when he received her question as if it were natural. Taking in the sight of her two most trusted subordinates, as well as the gradual construction of her nobleman's tent she felt that sense of home and familiarity stronger then ever.
"I suppose after four years there's work to be done mm? Shall we get started?" She couldn't help asking brightly. Thinking of just spending the rest of the construction process admiring the undead at work. Finally... Finally she was back.
