She couldn’t help the grin that crossed her lips as Nico complimented the brunette’s appearance, barely stifling a small giggle so as not to ruin the cute moment. It was certainly a new side to the pinkett that Valeria hadn’t witnessed until now, and had Ari been here to witness it the blonde was sure he would’ve stared at Nico as if she’d grown a second head.

"Hey, it’s okay." She tried to comfort the woman on the other side of the call, seeing Ronja avert her gaze as a hand rose to rub her neck. "That’s what friends are for, so don’t worry about it." Nico was glad to step in then, acting as a willing scapegoat for the blame and earning a chuckle from Val as the girl patted the pinkett on the shoulder. "Deal then, it’s all your fault~"

It was Ronja’s turn then to notice the blonde’s own wavering, the concerned look on her face not missed, though she was thankful the matter was dropped for the time being as the woman admonished the violent prone gremlin—knowing what she did of Nico the blonde had little doubt that the pinkett would follow through with her promise. And then a moment of silent stretched between them as Ronja considered the group chat idea, and Valeria couldn’t hurt the cheerful "Yes!" that escaped her lips when the brunette agreed to it.

She was about to say something else when the phone in her hand vibrated, the girl looking down to see a message from Ari before noticing the time on the screen. "Oh shoot, has it been this long already?" She hadn’t meant to leave Ari and Dayeon waiting downstairs for so long, hopefully neither thought the girls were just trying to skirt out of helping perp tonight’s dinner.

"Hey Nico, I’ll go on ahead first okay?" A grin was given to the pinkett, before Valeria turned to look at Ronja as she gave the brunette a big smile and a wave. "It was nice talking with ya, and we’ll send food pics of what we’re making tonight~"

With that the girl bounded over towards the door, giving the pinkett a wink now that she was out of sight of the camera. "See you downstairs, Nico."

Nico just watched both girls drop the blame on her that quickly, as if the burden of their sins was easy enough to drop on someone else but heavy to carry on their own, and her expression shows this much betrayal, eyes darting between both in awestruck fashion.

"...Fuck, okay I'm to blame." She gave up and chuckled. It was her fault for mentioning it anyways and relying on cliche to save her. Much to her surprise though, Ronja still defied the idea of kicking Ari's ass, despite how many boots that man deserved sometimes, giving her a shrug to match her nonchalance.

"Well... It wouldn't hurt to meet more people."
"No, no it wouldn't."
She asserted, since Val wouldn't do so, and given the hesitance on the girl it shows that a little push couldn't do bad.

Nico at first ignored just how the bed vibrated a little, only paying any mind ot it as Val brought up time to the conversation, rising an eyebrow back to the blonde who spoke in riddles about 'going ahead first', clicking her tongue and giving a long 'ooooh' expression once food was mentioned, and her own stomach got reminded of it's emptiness thanks to that.

"Don't start without me!" She called out as the woman left to go downstairs and meet with the other two, who god knows what they are doing.

Nico finally sighed, smiling lightly before turning eyes to Ronja once again. "There she goes, we were preparing some pasta for tonight, already kinda spoiling you the surprise but well..." She trailed off, lids half closed for a moment before refocusing on the phone. "You gonna be okay while I'm not logging in? You have a pinch for getting in trouble last time I remember." Far more playful than harsh about that remark, given it would be the pot calling the kettle black in this case.

Ronja giggled as her and Valeria's blames caught Nico, that played along and took all the blame to herself. It was small and silly response, but was enough to bring a warm smile to the girl, that liked the way the girl faced these kind of situations with her sarcasm.

Her gaze shifted to Valeria as she seemed to be leaving, but not before Ronja decided to slip a "Take care, and... It was very nice to meet you, well, your real you, Luthy." She smiled, knowing she was calling the other by her in game name, but it would still take a while for her to get used to calling her 'Val' or 'Valeria.

As she left, Ronja slowly turned to look at Nico, now being only the two of them.

For a very brief moment, Ronja felt even more self-conscious than when it was the three of them. But the reminder of their time in the hospital snapped her back to the fact that... She shouldn't really be like that in front of Nico.

The question made Ronja smile partially embarrassed, and she shook her head. "I didn't expect this, but... Yes, I will be okay." Ronja said, looking at Nico, fondly. "As long as you are having fun, and I'm sure you are." It would be lonely, yeah, but it wasn't like Nico wasn't logging in because something bad happened. Besides, she had other friends in game, so perhaps it was a good time to bond a bit more with them, and take her time to talk with new people too.

Nico expected the reassurance. Ronja wouldn't want to worry her on her short vacations, she guessed that much. It's not like it mattered: as long as she played a deadly game like Terrasphere, she had enough reasons to lose her sleep over it, a process she would need to get used to with time.

She had something and someone to lose now. The stakes had changed.
"As long as you are having fun, and I'm sure you are."
Nico smiled, waving a hand off at her as embarassment almost took over her with the faintest red tint upon her cheeks. Ronja usually knew what to say to get her mind out of that pool of uncertainty. It was her charisma, her 'thing': Putting the 'bubbly' in the name. "I get friends and suddently being alone on my room feels like dread." A sentiment the pinkette knew Ronja over anybody else in this world would understand better. Her face softened for the worst, apologetic.

"It's like there is no good alternative though. If I want money to move where you are, I need to work my ass off," She said, certain of her capability to do so, and displaying no signs of wear on her voice. "But doing that means I'll get to play less with you. See you less even. And how many years until I get to pay for it?" It worried her to never be able to see Ronja again in person. Relying on Ari was scummy, and she's done so twice already, the lies she kept spinning inside her head about mental wellbeing and 'necessary evils' wouldn't outweigh her personal rules this time around.

Finally she sighed off, eyes upon the ground to try and hide the weakness from her lover. "Sorry, I just get a bit concious about it. If it were for me, you would never be alone in your room." But these were fairytales, pipe dreams of hers. For as strong as she wanted to be, even rock would bend to pressure eventually, and she couldn't reveal that weakness to others. not to Ari, not to Val, nor Dayeon. It had to vent, but only one person should listen.

Nico's words regarding loneliness and friendship made Ronja muster a small smile and a giggle, feeling sympathy toward it. "It is a good dread to feel." It sounded weird, but Ronja truly meant it. "It may be a bad feeling at first, but when you realize you are dreading the temporary lack of something, it means you are actually living for something." She gave her opinion, but she halted herself from going any further than that, not wishing to pull out a boring elaboration regarding it.

It would kill the mood too.

Ronja's small smile turned concerned, shaking her head as her expressions became reassuring.

"Nico... You know very well that... You don't need to go through it." Ronja said, rubbing her arm as she held her breath for a moment.

"I... Already told you that I would afford your trips, if necessary..." She said, for once being genuinely happy that she was from such a wealthy family. "... I would even allow you to be in my home with me... But Lena doesn't approve it... And I doubt my parents would, at least not right away..."

Even if she felt so close to Nico in a matter of a few months, she would understand if her family would be against a drastic choice such as having Nico living at her home.

Perplexed, Nico watched just how calm Ronja remained, how cheery despite the opposite was true for the pinkette herself.
"It is a good dread to feel."

A good dread to feel?

"I know. It just hurts plenty. It's hard to get used to it, specially since I could lose everything at any time, and I don't want that to happen." She admitted, despite a little smile forcing it's way through her face in between all the stress Ronja could perceive. "It's just hard to imagine going back to how things were, and I know that ain't gonna happen but it still gives me the chills. It's pretty dark where I sleep, and I often stay awake late so I got a lot of time to think to myself." She added. Knowing better than to let fear drive her through life didn't do much to stop her mind from doing it's depressive, lonely dance. A symptom most of the world's population suffers every now and then.

"But is it the right thing to accept it? To just take something for free and not work for it, again?" Her answer to a reminder, an offer she had turned down once, but even now she wasn't too sure. This time, her voice carried doubt. There was so much her own pride masked as ideals could take before it begun to lose the war against her heart, every beat longing to be closer to Ronja's, it's partner in a dance meant for two.

"... I would even allow you to be in my home with me... But Lena doesn't approve it... And I doubt my parents would, at least not right away..."
"I know they wouldn't." The one thing Nico is certain of. If her own parents didn't, how could another's? "I would never ask that of you." Her right hand reached for her temples, fingers pressed against her brows once she ran out of ideas and answers, sighing off.

"Hey... You still got my hoodie, right?" So instead she changed the topic. "Next time I'll drop you another. Maybe you can make a cover out of them." She joked, Nico hoped that would be enough.

Unsurprising when her feelings didn't agree with her sense of humour for the very first time.

Ronja could understand where Nico was coming from, but she felt her own heart in discomfort at the idea her beloved was feeling hurt just because of the conditions they were in.

Her hand quivered only for a moment, in a very brief gesture to try and hold Nico's cheek and tell her it was fine.

But the distance was obvious, and she halted herself before she turned things even more awkward, warming up a smile. "Don't feel hurt... Feel happy for the good times we have, and look forward them when we are away. It is much better than mourning about it." She explained, calmly before she shook her head.

"There is nothing wrong with it. Otherwise, I would need to feel pretty bad, don't you think? I rarely work, and when I do, I don't contribute with anything." She admitted.

Her head tilted for a moment upon the mention of the hoodie, having her cheeks flushing faintly at Nico's words.

"Stop that..." Ronja averted her gaze. "... It is a nice hoodie, comfortable too." She returned her eyes at Nico.

"Lena wanted to return it, but I said you could come here to take it yourself." Ronja admitted, slightly playful.

"But... Let me know if you need it again."

It made sense, and yet her head just couldn't let it be. Every word Ronja muttered out for her was right, Nico knew this, but why was it so hard to just accept it? A part of her wants to, another is at odds because of how difficult it would be to do so. Yet it felt liberating in some way to talk about it.

Her arms itched, she could guess her lover felt the same desire to embrace one another. That's why it made every video call question herself more about her decisions and her abstinence of financial support. "Yeah... Yeah you are right. I just hate waiting, but I never got around working on being patient." She smiled, turning her eyes away from Ronja as she felt the heat rush towards her cheeks. After a second or so, they met with hers once again. "Thanks, Princess."

"There is nothing wrong with it. Otherwise, I would need to feel pretty bad, don't you think? I rarely work, and when I do, I don't contribute with anything."

Ronja was harsh enough to get a frown out of her. Harsh to herself, that is. "We all contribute differently. You don't just do nothing because you choose to. You got the drive to be the best at whatever you felt like doing." Nico retorted, her features softening up just a little more as that scowling look left her face. "Though now that I think about it, I never asked you what you wanted to be when you grew up. A career, I mean."

But she couldn't just ignore how quickly the tides turn and now Ronja was on the backfoot of her teasing, the brunette having gotten adept at picking herself back up and striking back with some boldness of her own. "Well you know what they say, the more the merrier." She smiled. A hoodie? Yeah she could spare a second one. Hell, a third one too, so long as she gets to see Ronja wear all of them. For now, the mental image would suffice. "But come on, you really had to tell Lena? She's gonna lock up the entire house to keep me out now. Unless you plan to drop your hair over the window for me." Smugness plastered all over the gremlin.

"But... Let me know if you need it again."
"It's a gift. It's yours now. I want to see you wear it one day, so..." Finally she sighed, letting her playfulness die off for a moment. For this particular moment, when seriousness calls and her heart beats harder than ever. "So, if you wouldn't mind to pay me a flight to visit you, I would love to. Doesn't have to be right now or-or anything. Whenever you feel like!"

A faint giggle came from Ronja at Nico's words regarding her patience, and a strong warmth covered her face when she was called a princess. At that point, she should've been used to it, but that was in another world where she had a body and mind that she was confident of. Here, it was a little different, but she would never doubt her words.

"A-Anytime, my Knight..."

Her following question, however, caught Ronja by surprise. It has been a question she has rarely been asked before, most likely because she had always shown her passion for arts and crafts, and to a less positive way of thinking... Probably because it would be a 'waste of time' to ask it to someone 'like her'.

But while she had her limitations, she was far from being useless as she thought, and even more far from being dreamless.

"... I wanted to be a world changer." The answer was strange at first, but a dreamy smile appeared on her face before she elaborated: "I wanted... To create things that would get rid of obstacles that are beyond people's control." Ronja admitted.

"... Essentially an inventor." She said. "... But..." Her gaze averted.

"To create such a thing... It needs a lot of energy and exertion... And not just from the mind, but physically too."

Ronja returned her eyes to Fiora, not of bitterness, but of acceptance.

"So... I would need my own dream to become true for me to make my dream become true." Ronja shrugged. "Isn't it ironic..?" Ronja asked, turning and stretching herself out of the screen for a moment, letting her words sink in as she finally returned, with a familiar hoodie on her arms, showing that she actually kept it around and close before carefully wearing them while listening to what Nico had to say.

"A-Anytime, my Knight..." She sounded so shy, something seemed up, but the low resolution from the call almost made it impossible to figure out.
"Is that a blush I see?" She grinned, leaning closer towards the camera to try and get a better look. Too close in fact, all Ronja would see is her right eye! Comedy always worked best to regain her beloved's cool, afterall.

Nico went quiet as she saw the look on Ronja's face: Aspiring, hopeful. She wished to change the world in a selfless way. The first step of any successful scientist, or...

"... Essentially an inventor."

"Yeah!" She replied, quick to show her enthusiasm for it, but everything always had a 'but' in a story.

The look on the brunette's eyes... She accepted it is how it is. She could only get one half of the requirements down. She didn't feel as bad when her own dreams failed. Partially herself to blame, for how selfish they were. But to see Ronja's fail in an outrageously unfair way thanks to her condition.

It just made her want to punch something on the room, and she released that contempt on the bed sheets instead, fingers wrapped around them, clenching as hard as they could.

"Kinda ironic, buut no. Dreams lift us up. It's what we fight for. We got nothing but our dreams, so only way is up you know," Nico smiled, surprised when Ronja just left the screen mid-speech. Still beats the screen going all black. "And I'm here to help you fight for it. I can get some muscle and be the physical, you can be the mind. I would love to do some good for once, and with yo-" She paused, biting her lower lip down once they came back wearing her hoodie, just like that. How bold...

Nico sighed, wishful rather than exhausted, admiring the view for just a little longer to make a mental screenshot of it. Motivation to keep working her ass of at her job. "Making my every wish real, huh?" Flustered cheeks made her self-aware thanks to the screen, which prompted a pearly smile out of her. "One day you will be an inventor. Just need to think outside of the box, which is kinda what creating is about."

The call out for the blushing only made Ronja blush more, with her gaze shifting toward the woman, as she rubbed her neck and slipped a faint laugh. "Stop that, Nico!" She protested, albeit well humoured at her girlfriend.

Her enthusiasm was endearing, and even if Ronja made sure to be known that she accepted that undeniable truth, Nico tried to encourage her to think and see it in another way. To speak of dreams in such... A dreamy way, as if it had powers to make the impossible possible. Seeing Nico being so optimistic brought a cheerful smile to Ronja.

"You aren't wrong... Every person that had grown and made the unthinkable, had to go through what was told it was impossible." Ronja gave this much credit to Nico, a hint of logical thinking to such a passionate and naive speech.

But what truly changed Ronja's mind at the topic wasn't pretty, fantasical words. No.

The one thing that changed Ronja's mind, was the offer.

"You will help me..?" Ronja said, squeezing her lips for a moment. If there was one thing Nico made Ronja feel was to be capable of anything. Any insecurity or hesitation would be gone close to her. She simply had this strength in her, one that made Ronja's heart burn with passion and determination, as opposed to an acceptance of how things were.

Perhaps it was because Nico was just like that, similar to Fiora, who would fight against all the odds just for her.

"... I think I can do it then... As long as you are with me."

"Stop that, Nico!" Ronja's weak protests and her sweet laugh only empowered Nico further, to the first's detriment.
"Oh, then should I use the left eye?" Not a second after she switched eyes to peek at the camera. But eventually she stopped, pulling back until her upperbody and face were back on screen like before, only now her features were sparkled with a bit more energy than usual.

While she poured passion into her words, Ronja added the taste of logic it needed to be convincing in the first place. Their synergy was always clear, but to say one is only logic and one is only passion would be erroneous. Nico knew this optimism rubbed off to her, and the culprit stood right behind the screen.

"Yeah, some people just get dealt a bad hand. But it's what you do with these cards what matters." She added. All these fuzzy feelings Nico had were hit straight with a question instead, like a hand left hanging infront of her. Her last beat reminded her she had a heart for how hard it went, and soon her features turned from a thin line, to a smile. Confidence was one thing it said, commitment was the second. "I will." Straightforward of a reply, Nico paused, tilting her head a bit to the side as blue eyes gave a better look at the brunette.

"... I think I can do it then... As long as you are with me."
"So long as you want me with you, I'll be there. Even if we are far away from eachother."
She said, straightfaced despite the feeling of butterflies all over her stomach tickling her senses at the moment. "What kind of an inventor? Or well, I kinda want to know more so I can research into it later and we can be on the same page," Nico explained in a rather mild manner as it was important to take the first step towards a goal, but not rush things blindly and with only passion as a drive. "This is good news though, now I have more of a reason to hit the gym, as painful as that's gonna be and- Oh god that also means eating healthy." She chuckled to that, but these were sacrifices she was willing to make. "Imagine, maybe I'll look like Fiora one day and Lena's gonna finally approve of me."

Ronja averted her face one last time after Nico's playful tease regarding her blushing, sideglancing her and finally turning to face her as she listened her advice.

It was a good analogy, cards on their hands being what life had pre-determined for her. "My cards aren't that bad." Ronja admitted. "... One wrong card... And I would probably not have a family with the resources necessary to take care of me..."

She couldn't ignore the fact that while she was unfortunate in health, she was fortunate in having the conditions to treat it.

The confirmation that she would help her out brought a joyful and hopeful smile to Ronja's lips, but that soon shifted into something more embarrassed as she went on and further, perhaps a bit cheesy when mentioning she would be with her as long as she wished. "I may be selfish then..." She said, rubbing her neck and then pondering for a moment.

"For now, all I can do are arts and crafts... And I do know some programming too... But I kind of wish I could create... Things that could genuinely help others... But I think most of what I'd wish to make, are fantasies that you could only accomplish in somewhere like... Terra."

"My cards aren't that bad."

Nico couldn't disagree, nodding just to let that thought be known, just as Ronja admitted how she edged fate just at the end of one card. "One right card and you wouldn't care about these resources." She explained. These kinds of thoughts were a constant for her long ago, and something tells her the same case applied to Ronja too. "Maybe my home wouldn't have been such a nightmare if I had gotten a better card. But I kinda just stopped thinking about what can't be changed. And I'm sure you did too."

And it was well rewarded to try as hope springs from the serenity of her lover's features. And of course also embarassment, which just made Nico prompt a brow up at that. Her mind turned into a comedian that forgot their material and begun to flip cards to check what the hell they missed, set straight with the brunette's answer. "It goes both ways." She said, lacing that answer with a smirk.

What Ronja wanted, however, turned out to be far more complicated than it seemed in the first place. Her thumb begun to play around with one of her rings, fidgeting with that cheap thing usually got her brain to work overtime for an answer. And it didn't fail her.

"Careful..." Nico addressed the elephant of the room: they were in a call through phone, and as far as she knows maybe half the planet could have heard her mention the name of that one highly ilegal game named after planet earth. "I understand what you mean, so I'll propose you something else instead." She straightened herself, never once breaking the lock their gaze had. "We can use -that place- as a testing ground. We can create your ideas in a fantasy world, and then we try to find a way to translate them here. Sure, it won't be easy," That much is true given the differences between Terrasphere and the real world... "But not all of it is fantasy save for some power sources, and technology around here's fairly advanced. We might even have ways to improve upon them on this side!" She concluded.

Just as a different thought surged and a frown crossed her features. Concern making itself known to the both of them.

"I'm sure you are way better at this than I am, love. Just remember sometimes the answer aint about a robot that can go around and help people. Sometimes, it's just quality of life what people really need." Yet she knew the answer would change greatly, depending on which world they focused on.

Ronja nodded in agreement to Nico's response. Truly, it was all a matter of one card. One, and everything would've been different. She wouldn't even be talking with Nico right now, which made her mind have a momentary glimpse of 'what ifs'.

She knew better than to fall to that mind trap, shaking her head and clearing her throat when Nico warned her about her small slip.

"Sorry." She apologized, sometimes forgetting the nature of the game in the real world. She doubted they could be caught due to a small slip like that, and even if she knew that with her family contacts she would probably escape from any major consequence, she couldn't afford to put others in danger to it, nor to abuse of this 'power'.

The idea offered right after brought a curious expression to Ronja's face, causing her to perk up as she considered the possibility.

To use Terrasphere as a testing grounds was a great idea, being able to use that place as analogy for the real world. After all, there was a lot of similarities regarding physics and other laws of Earth, even if somewhat interferred by magic and every sort of reality bending powers.

"I love this idea, Nico." She smiled widely, finally responding after Nico spoke everything in her mind.

"How hard it will be to translate any invention from there to here... Is a tough question. But the other way around had already happened, so it shouldn't be impossible." Ronja said, perking up.

Just as she slipped, so did Ronja put herself back together. Stronger, as everyone would once clarity guided their thoughts. Nico took notice of it, and a cheerful smile on her face said enough.

"Sorry."
"Apology accepted. Just be careful." A toothy grin followed a wink. The dangers were quite real, and she would be crazy to ignore just how close to a heart attack that took her. Ronja could easily get them both out of prison if it was a money matter. Yet the game would certainly end out of their reach forever after that, and with it, their dream. It was too early on it's lifecycle. Dead on arrival if this was to happen.

Yet her mind drifted back to the present, to how Ronja gave herself a moment to think about her idea. For a second it felt like she was judging if it was a stupid or a brilliant idea, and relief washed over Nico's face as the brunette gave a smile of approval, earning an even bigger one out of the pinkette.

"Great! We just need a place to start working on this. Maybe a room in the MIT?" She pondered, her voice getting a little bit louder compared to earlier, a side-effect of excitement blinding her to everything else, including not edging the line of yelling.

Ronja proved once again she was the brains of the two, Nico's lips turning into an 'O' once it got pointed out the fact that technology from the real world had been already adapted to Terrasphere, a detail she had overlooked but only supported the idea even further. "That's true. As for adapting it, yeah it shouldn't be impossible. I had in mind to try and use all the resources available in it to make something that works the way we want it to, then we go ahead and do it again to try and make it out of materials and a power source that ain't fictional in the first place." Nico paused for a second to let that sink in, before adding.

"I have plans of my own to find a nice spot and build a place to live in the woods. Maybe in between some of the towns like Honeyhome. Still got a lot of work ahead of me before I begin, was meant to be something of a side project of mine once I got bored of killing birds, wolves and bears." She laughed. As if she would ever get tired of wrestling things in that game. "Still, if you want we can try and fit our workshop in it. Better than to live in MIT and Finweald of all places..."

Ronja's eyes widened when Nico spoke of MIT out loudly, with a finger instantly going straight to Ronja's lips, in a gesture to her to remain quiet as a 'shhh' followed. "Be careful, you too." She said, with a sigh and then a quiet laugh.

After the small retort, Ronja listened patiently for Nico's elaboration of the plans. "Well, there we certainly won't need to worry that much about material or resources limitations, which is pretty much a 'creative mode' of our world." Ronja said, with her excitement growing just as much as Nico's. "The greatest inventions of humanity are based on trial and error- And it is also the biggest obstacle, since we can't afford to keep trying without spending so much... But in a world like that one, we are... Unlimited."

There were limits, of course, but compared to Earth, it wasn't even close.

The mention of building somewhere to live and build an workshop made Ronja pause and blink for a moment, reminding herself of their time in the farm, and bringing a warmth to her cheeks and a timid smile to her lips.

"I mean..." She fidgeted, peeking at Nico shyly.

"... I would love that. To have a place just for the two of us, and that we can work together."

'Shhh!' The gesture almost made her jump into questioning, until Ronja elaborated, and her hands instinctively went for her lips for a split of a second, given the deed was already done. "Fuck, sorry." Instinct took over her vocabulary.

It was her turn to listen, and Nico made sure to sing into her thoughts all of Ronja's feedback. Apparently not much off from what she had in mind. "Exactly. There are many areas rich in minerals we can go explore, and I doubt we will ever run out of materials to collect. I got the muscle on that side of the screen, so you can count on me for that. and with the inventory being practically limitless we won't have a problem to carry everything back." She exclaimed. The prospect of unlimited materials meant one less barrier, and confirmation of it just got her feeling all bubbly for a moment.

"I would say the biggest obstacle of anything related to humanity is humanity itself, really." When the topic of progress came up, she felt obligued to at least say that much. It's hard to go forth when most of the world keeps going backwards. "But we gonna overcome that. We won't end it, but we might be able to make it easier for others to deal with it too." A legacy is what she referred to. Nico shook off her head, trying to wash these ideas away, as the horizon is far far away from them and work must be done before they can look in that direction.

Fiora shared a blink with Ronja no soon after she did. The shy smile and uneasyness in her movements would have been worrisome at first, but her words almost hinted at something else entirely. Nico rised a hand up to her lips, her cheeks flustering in but an instant. In that moment, their time at the farm had come to mind, the selfish reason why she wanted to build a house in the first place: Working with Ronja was fun, and she could get used to waking up every morning to the magia's yawns, smiles and messy hairs for her to help out and set straight.

But -that- which happened at the farm slipped her mind until now. A ditzy smile crawwled onto her lips as Nico lowered her hand back to her lap. "Y-yeah, we can get our own workshop there, I could also set up some fruits and stuff to make it kinda like a farm. And... We take a break every now and then..." She cleared her throat before resuming. "It would be like our own home. We'll build it together, so that means you gotta help me with the decoration. Not taking a no on that." She smiled, surely Ronja could cover her shortcomings in that matter.

Ronja simply waved her hand in an 'it is fine' gesture as soon as Nico realized the slip.

As Nico gave more and more details of what she had in mind, Ronja couldn't help but feel very optimistic about it. They were certain to succeed in trying new inventions, even if 'humanity' would be on their way.

"Humanity won't be enough to stop us..." She said, pausing for a moment before chuckling quietly at the way they were talking. It almost felt like they were aliens. "... Besides, we aren't going to try and make anything that would catch the attention of people that mean ill, I think."

And even if they did, in this case in particular, Ronja wouldn't hesitate to ask the help of her parents, that would certainly have someone to direct the right help for them.

She pushed any possibility of it happening away, however.

When Nico began growing a bit shy about the idea of sharing a home, Ronja couldn't help but feel a bit embarrassed herself. But said embarrassment couldn't be compared to the warmth she felt when Nico elaborated further about their home.

Their home. Their farm. Their workshop.

"It... It will be lovely... I am sure..." Ronja smiled, resting a hand on her chest. "Yes, I will do everything to make sure it is a beautiful home... For both of us."

"Humanity won't be enough to stop us..."

Powerful words, raw but truthful. Nico's ears turned red just hearing that. It reciprocated the exact same feelings she felt whenever Ronja was around. "Nothing can, if we try hard enough." She added, though it felt humourous to speak like villains plotting doomsday, a silly idea she should have poked more fun at, but her interest in the topic just completely shun her from. "Don't be so sure. Bad people will always find a way to weaponize even the most innocent thing. But that's a guarantee we gonna have to work against in the future, not now."

Ronja's words dug deep enough into her. Happy was an understatement, but she did a good job at keeping herself from getting bubbly speech. Nico's silence sweetened the air, at least to herself it felt like so. Words couldn't leave her mouth, if only because of how hard it proved to mention what she had in mind.

She took a deep breath and braced herself before letting her mind speak for itself.

"We will do everything." She corrected, playful smile curving her lips, resting a hand on her chest just in the same manner as Ronja did. "And maybe, -I really hope so-, we also live in one together... Out of the game I mean." She explained, her gaze flickering away from the phone for a second as she giggled to herself, then waved her hand apologetically infront of the camera. "Gosh my face is burning. This chat, you... It's making me want to hug a pillow real hard." Wishful thinking, a plea that longed for the brunette, like the first day they parted ways from the romantic week spent together. The closest she could get to hug Ronja, and still a bad substitute to her lover.

It got her in the cheesy, romantic mood, and she hated how much she loved it.
