Personality
The years haven't changed Alkaid very much from her previous tenure in Terrasphere. The kind of person perhaps a bit too set in her ways, she'd refer to the game like a bad habit that she's probably better off not getting back into, and yet she can't help but give one more try. More often than not, what you see is what you get with Alkaid, the kind of person sets very few walls between herself and her in-game persona.
Alkaid is your local vodka aunt as easygoing as your average cat loafing in the sun. She's here for fun, or as much as one can have when occasionally facing what feels like very real life and death struggles (a fact that, isn't so far off the mark, really), spending much of her time seeking new thrills and ideas, with many of her interactions with others boiling down to a desire to "pick at their brain a little."
How could much fun still be possible after facing eldritch entities was a good question to ask, however, she had every intention of finding out. At the very least, there was a new wave of stars that needed taking care of.

It's an odd thing, how seeing something from the past can stir so many memories at once.
Kyouko didn't live in Boston anymore. The noisy background of the New York City sprawl just an open window away as she stepped into a loft that was always a bit bigger than she'd wanted. Not that she necessarily minded, since it meant more space for her alcohol collection, amongst other things. Many framed pictures filled what would've been otherwise empty space, pictures largely depicted rare sights caught on trips to tropical islands or snowy mountain peaks.
It had been so long since she'd brought out her VR equipment that it'd gathered a good bit of dust, over the course of maybe half a year or so. And sure enough, after a bit of cleaning up and laying down on a bed a bit too big for her, she booted it up to find a notification she half-expected to find.
She sighed, fingers unconsciously reaching for a ring she couldn't yet bring herself to take off.
Then she hit "Accept."

Mother knows best, and while you aren't one, you do in fact know best. You've been there, done that, and you know better. It's only right that you guide the unwitting down the right path.
