"There is no shame in opting to being good at supports. A good healer lets a tank fight for way longer than they normally can, and a solid buff can make DPSers go nuclear. However, if you don't know what you're doing, be it you're not careful with your positioning or comfortable with your magic you can put those around you in danger."

They would keep walking growing closer to the woods. The wind would rustle his hair, sending his coat fluttering behind him. "Replanting them wouldn't work anyways, they rely on a lot of the natural magic in their surroundings. If you try to grow them in a greenhouse they don't maintain their healing properties."

He would eye her as she jumped ahead, setting off his internal alarms. She was dangling herself on a hook in front of wolves or goblins that would want to jump them. Then she dropped the bomb of a question.

"Terrasphere is illegal because it can kill you. If you die three times in the game it will kill you in the real world and your mind will be trapped in game. Die again and you're gone forever unless someone revives you with magic in time."

she will stop walking and turn to him.

"Next time i get the option to rank up something or choose a skill, I'll pick something that i can fight with. I've already faced Bandits, but that was with someone named Hanno. he seemed surprised that i could even do that, so I'm not sure that a lot of people are taking things like the support builds compared to dps or tank builds. Thats what happened in the last game I tried."

She shrugs and looks at the soil. "so we would need a Phytomancer. erm.. Plant mage, to keep them from loosing that? Interesting."

once he has caught up with her she will walk with him. when he drops that bombshell of news though, she just stops. he will be able to notice her looking off into an unknown distance

"
I see... I guess I just... won't die then. I guess that's what happened to hano though. I should have picked up on that."

"Hanno? Short dude, big shield?" The Lion would raise an eyebrow. "I didn't know he'd eaten a death, strong fucker. Good and dependable in a fight, though the one fight we worked alongside eachother we weren't really like..." he would wave a hand. "Either way, depending on your masteries you can fight with just about anything. The only reason you were capable of fighting against bandits is because you had the premier bodyguard player of the game on your side."

He would motion to a plant that she'd missed, reaching down to pluck it and banish it into his UI. "You should probably pick up some offensive masteries and at least one defensive one. Going all in on support is nice, but you need to also couple that in with at least one or more defensive masteries to take care of yourself and the others around you."

He would continue down the path, walking slowly so she could keep up.

"I mean... He was the first guy I met, but i don't think he got... whats it called, hub locked or game stuck? No theres another guy.. not hano... haru. My bad"

she nods, thinking a bit before shrugging

"I'll be sure to pick up something next time i can. All I got is.. let me check..." she pulls up her ui "spirit magic, astramancy and alchemy. I'm fairly good at those things I think. but i also have this" she holds up a club, though its more like a very tough branch. "I grabbed this to help granny ethel."

she runs a bit to keep up with him.

"it has a system for non special attacks, so I'm going to try and use that before trying magic attacks"

she snags another plant from the dirt, getting the hang of looking for herbs and such.

"also, I was wondering if you have a good recommendation for a place that sells spices. I'm missing 11 for a cooking recipe I got from a box."

"Ah, Haru." The giant would nod, suddenly the pieces clicking together. "UI locked is the term, happens on your third death. Though I hear deaths one and two aren't quite free either." He would continue to walk alongside her, listening to the rest of her spiel. "Astramancy can be used to manipulate gravity, so you can use it to fling things. Excellent for helping move people out of the way or send enemies flying."

"As for spices and whatnot, you'd need to venture to one of the big cities. You don't find things like that in any of the local markets."

He would spot several more of the healing herbs and scoop them up before turning to her. "Alright, that's the bulk of the order right there. Now we need to go and get the herb for dealing with Lycanthropy. Interestingly enough it grows best over the grave of a lycanthrope, so let me guide you to the grave of one I killed a while back..."

"yeah. He seems nice though." she turns to him and nods a bit as she walks with him "I actually have the certifications to perform Astronomy readings In real life. Its part of the reason I chose Astramancy. The description said something to the effect of future sight and what not. Figured it would help out to have something I already knew"

"I was trying to make a joke... Kansas Fried Chicken? The wings place?"

She will take the herbs and store them in her UI to keep them fresh. "Oh well. Any way, that is pretty cool. and it makes sense to have the herbs grow over that kind of grave too. Does it grow back after a while? and what if someone got to it first and grabbed it all? Where else does it grow? is it a heartier plant like yarrow with deep roots or does it need constant watering?"
