"HAHAHA, WELL GOBLINS WHERE ARE YOU? SCARED? COME OUT SO I CAN RIP YOUR LEGS OFF AND BEAT YOU TO DEATH WITH THEM YOU GREEN RATS! COME AND FACE YOUR DEATH AT THE ENDS OF REGAN, FUTURE VAMPIRE QUEEN OF THIS WORLD!"

Several small settlements in the area of Eastern Brisshal had recently been attacked by goblin raiding parties which had served as a signal for adventurers to help defend the settlements. Not one for defending, Regan had taken to hunting the small green monsters on their own turf.

"IS THERE NONE OF YOU BRAVE ENOUGH TO STEP OUT OF YOUR HOLES, RATS! I'VE COME TO CULL YOUR NUMBERS! WHAT WILL YOU DO?! RUN?! DO I FRIGHTEN YOU LITTLE RATS?! ARE YOU TERRIFIED TO KNOW THAT A TRUE MONSTER HAS COME FOR YOUR BLOOD?!

Suddenly, Regan felt a sharp pain in her thigh. One of the goblins had snuck up on her and attacked her right flank leaving a small dagger embedded in her thigh.

"HAHAHA! NOW THAT'S MORE LIKE IT!"

Quickly grabbing the goblin by the shirt before it could run, Regan brought the monster up to her face and bit down on its through with her two razor-sharp fangs. Drinking the creature's blood, she threw the goblin away as though she had just finished a canned beverage. Reaching down, Regan pulled the dagger from her thigh and threw it aside.

"IS THERE ONLY ONE OF YOU WITH THE GUTS TO STAND AGAINST ME, OR WOULD YOU PREFER I SLAUGHTER YOU ONE BY ONE?!"

At once four goblins, two with short swords and two with spears scampered up to face Regan.

"FINALLY! A REAL FIGHT! HAHAHA!"

Manipulating the blood from her open wound, Regan formed a long blade of hardened blood. Unsheathing her saber, the woman prepared to fight.

"WELL, THEN? COME ON!"

Regan rushed forward charging the four goblins.

"LET'S SEE WHO DIES FIRST!"

"Come on! You dare attack this place, and this is the only attack you managed to deliver? Is that all you really got?"

A quick two diagonal slash combo, totally unprecedented from a weapon that would be considered unwieldy considering the wielder's stature. This had been going on for a couple of hours, and it seemed that the wielder of the seven-shaku ootachi had not lost his touch, even after wielding such a ponderous weapon. The recipient of this devastating attack, a goblin wielding a machete, was quartered in the ensuing attack.

It had been a while since yet another goblin incursion occurred in this area, and Bradwynne, hearing the news, could never underestimate the implications of such an attack. Although the situation was far more manageable than ever before because of the new players making their entrances left and right, bolstering the overall fighting capacity of the defending front, he could not afford to have any of these people lose their lives from this attack, Lander or Traveler. And so when he would see anyone injured at the front, he would heal them, and if there were anyone in serious danger or was surrounded, he would dive in into sorties that would deal a shock to the goblins so that the person would get a breather enough to retreat, recover, attack, or all of these three, waiting for enough time until some more able people would take his place, which he would then support by healing. It was with this strategy of conquering and fortifying a position that he had managed to secure a no-death scenario in every goblin incursion, and this should be no different. His only concern was if some new players would overstretch the lines and attack the camps themselves. As he had experienced battling Shulgana's Revenant together with the best of the best, this would never end well. Even if the typical Goblin Champion is much more weaker than that entity he had fought and received his third death from, they were still no slouches, and can defeat a new Traveler relatively easily. And so he then set out to one of the directions that the goblins were retreating towards, taking note of the other directions.

As he then chased down the goblins without killing them, he then arrived into a precarious situation involving a Traveler he had not seen before, with four goblins surrounded her. By those four's confidence in surrounding the woman, he surmised that he might be in the goblins' base already. And so he had his objectives set already: to defend this woman from the horde of goblins that will defend this base, and to keep her alive. But it seemed with whatever she was shouting that she would continue to battle until the end. Such a typical RPG sentiment. If only this was an RPG where one can die as many times as they like.

When the goblins he was chasing passed by the group that surrounded the woman, he then momentarily stopped and readied his ootachi for one large sweeping strike. As he then clad his body in white, his boots then dug a hole on the ground as he then dashed towards the retreating goblin party, as his sword then swung 270 degrees as he dashed, catching the retreating party as well as all the goblins that had surrounded the woman. As they then suffered a serious gash on their backs, some then toppled down, an unfortunate one was bisected, while others were drawn angrily towards him, readying their weapons. Bradwynne then faced the woman and greeted her.

"Yo. It seemed that you have attracted the adoring attention of the wrong sort of suitors, eh?"

"HAH! THAT'S JUST THE SORT OF ATTENTION I LIKE! I'LL WARN YOU THOUGH, I HAVE NO TOLERANCE FOR HEROES THAT STEAL MY KILLS!"

Regan lunged at the first goblin she saw with both swords, one made of hardened blood and the other a saber, drawn. Slicing downward, Regan cleaved the first goblin mortally, then with a horizontal cut she bisected the second.

"MORE! GIVE ME MORE!"

She was like a beast awash in the carnage of battle. Lunging, slicing, cutting, every kill seemed to bring her more pleasure. Worst of all, from the excitement in her eyes anyone could tell that this wasn't just a battle to her, it was fun. She took pleasure in the massacre.

Hearing a scampering behind her, Regan suddenly turned just in time to catch a lone goblin attempting a backstabbing attack. Throwing her saber downwards so it plunged blade first in the ground, Regan grabbed the creature before it could start to run. Opening her mouth wide, the woman bit down hard on the goblin's throat killing it. Blood sprayed across Regan's face and she smiled as it did.

"THIS IS IT! THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR! FINALLY! A REAL BATTLE!"

Cackling, Regan held up the blade she had forged of hardened blood. All at once, the lifebloods of the fallen goblins streamed into the blade making it longer, sharper, and all the more terrible.

"COME RATS! GIVE ME A SHOW!"

Turning to Bradwynne, Regan shouted out to him.

"THIS IS WHY YOU'RE HERE AS WELL ISN'T HERO? TO PLAY EXTERMINATOR?! HAHAHAHA!"

As more goblins scampered from their mud huts and started charging at them, Bradwynne could ill afford to look at what the woman had been doing without the peril that a goblin would come to him while he was unaware, but he took glimpses of her fighting style as he fought his share of goblins.

As he then moved forward to meet those goblins who were coming in as reinforcements, he then opened the engagement with a chopping thrust of his ootachi, using his reach advantage to its fullest. The unfortunate goblin that was caught in this attack got its body bisected diagonally as the other goblins continued to charge to take advantage of Bradwynne's seemingly momentary vulnerability. But they did not really succeed all that much as Bradwynne then used yet another sweeping slash to swipe at the charging enemies, the strength of the slash driving the goblins off their course of attacking him.

"Looks like I am getting popular myself in this neighborhood huh? Sorry, even if I look like a pop superstar, I am definitely not here to sing a song for you all!"

Yet another flash of the ootachi, another goblin fell down dead from a deep gash on its shoulder.

"You definitely thought that it was a butterfly on your right shoulder, but it is I, Bradwynne!"

But as he would continue on to attack the remaining goblins on his front, an arrow pierced through his left arm. Realizing that there might be archers somewhere, he scanned the area for them, while he then evaded more arrows coming towards him.

"Arrows? No fair! This is an all-melee zone!"

A goblin was then spotted reloading his bow with another arrow. But in an instant, with a brief flash of light, half of the forehead of the goblin slid down the rest of its body, the brain that was connected to that half of the forehead dropping on the ground first as the goblin just stood there, unable to move again.

"At least you should give me a heads-up, OK?" Bradwynne then flicked his right index and middle fingers as if he would extinguish a lit match, and then held the ootachi again to deliver yet another sweeping slash so that he would have some breathing space. He then turned towards the woman.

"I have only one life more to give, and I am trying to preserve this as much as possible." He then delivered another slash to another goblin, splitting its skull. "But this is really addicting, I admit. Saving lives, kicking evil arses, saving lives while kicking evil arses."

One more life to give... then does that mean he's one of those rumored people that have died in real life? Or is he just saying that? Either way, it sounds like he's died in this world before.

It seemed as though for a moment there was a lull in combat as the goblin forces attempted to regroup for their next attack.

"AND WHO'S LIFE ARE YOU SAVING? SURELY NOT MINE, HERO. I WAS DOING FINE ON MY OWN, IN FACT, I MIGHT HAVE BEEN HAVING EVEN MORE FUN IF YOU HADN'T SHOWN UP."

Still, it didn't look like Regan was actually angered by Bradwynne's presence.

"YOU'RE STRONG AND YOU FIGHT WITH CONFIDENCE, THEREFORE YOU HAVE MY RESPECT AND HAVE EARNED THE RIGHT TO STAND ON THIS BATTLEFIELD!"

Regan grinned widely.

"My name is Regan, FUTURE VAMPIRE QUEEN OF THIS WORLD!"

As Bradwynne then waited for the incoming attack, he was then told by @Regan that she did not need saving and that she was doing better without him around. Bradwynne just laughed and replied, "Funny you say that, there was also a player with far greater swordsmanship than mine who always drove head first into everything, even into difficult missions. Also a quite stellar performer in those missions, if I might add. But since he always drove head first, to the point that other people could not catch him, it was his undoing. Now he was in his final life also, and he had been in that state for longer than me now."

He then rested his ootachi on his shoulders as he was still steeling himself for another assault. "But let us see if you are going to be luckier than him, once an Goblin Champion would come. It is typically within any large goblin camps that one should appear, if not then the much worse ones might appear, the Favored ones. We are lucky if none of them would show up here, since those two are not something a beginner or a novice should battle alone." He then spotted the goblins about to attack. "Well maybe we should not chatter much now, they are coming."

"Final state, huh? I guess that means the rumors are true. If you die twice then you're stuck in this world. I've heard the rumors but I didn't believe them. Either way, it suits me fine. I've got nothing much I care about in the real world anyway."

Regan laughed.

"BUT COMPARING ME TO SOMEONE ELSE, HAH! I NEED NO WARNING, I AM MY OWN WEAPON AND I DON'T NEED LUCK! I WILL ADMIT THOUGH, THIS FRIEND OF YOURS SOUNDS LIKE A HELL OF A GUY! HAHAHA A TRUE WARRIOR! MAYBE I'LL MEET THEM ONE DAY, BUT FOR NOW I'VE GOT GOBLINS TO OBLITERATE! IF THE GOBLINS HAVE A CHAMPION HE BETTER SHOW UP FAST BEFORE ALL HIS FRIENDS ARE TORN TO PIECES!"

Opening her wings, Regan took to the air. She had been practicing her flying often since she first appeared in the world and though still not an expert, she had gotten the hang of fighting and flying.

Using her altitude as a vantage point, Regan waited until she heard the shot of an arrow aimed at her. Dodging it narrowly, the woman swooped downward and sliced eliminating the goblin archer.

"THIS ISN'T VERY FUN IF THERE AREN'T MORE OF YOU RATS TO HUNT!"

As @Regan ascended to the skies to ascertain in what direction should she attack, Bradwynne charged headlong into the throng of goblins. He specifically chose the location with the most concentration of goblins, so that he could inflict the most damage to their morale. After all, goblins only intended to prey on the weak with their huge numbers but would retreat at the sight of their comrades being slaughtered. Such despicable vermin. But this would be how they would operate in the face of stronger enemies that surrounded them, so he did not begrudge them in this strategy all that much. And so, as Regan then swooped down at the backline; with the full power of his Divine Magic, as he then grew wings and a halo befitting an angel, he then moved with great velocity but not rivaling that of Regan's dive, and delivered yet another sweeping arc with his ootachi towards the huge concentration of goblins, discomfiting them and would leave them vulnerable with his next series of attacks.

"She's not your only opponent, you know?" he then said with a smile as he then levitated above the goblins with his wings, rendering every of his opponents' attacks nearly useless unless they got really close, and hell would Bradwynne let any opponent come close to him in this state. In this position he could wield his ootachi as effectively as a typical katana, and he would exploit this advantage to its fullest. The archers would be busy anyway dealing with Regan, so he need not to watch out for stray arrows. Together the goblins charged, but every single time they would stray within the ootachi's range, they would get mangled with it. As long as Bradwynne would swing his weapon, the goblins could never attack him.

But Bradwynne noticed something really off. No matter how many goblins he killed, the more they poured their numbers on him, which should be the opposite of their normal behavior. It would seem like they were attempting to tire him out before they would finish him, which was a bad flag.

"Could it be...?"

He then heard a massive roar and a crashing from a short distance, splinters of wood flying around a wooded area just close to Regan. Bradwynne then saw as he was still trying to fend off goblins within his area, a huge goblin, three times larger than normal, wielding a steel club. At the sight of this monstrosity, some of the melee goblins that was attacking Regan turned towards Bradwynne's direction instead

"I see, they would attempt a defeat in detail huh... As if that kind of thing would work on me!"

Using her wings to great effect by doing fly-by attacks on goblins using ranged weapons, Regan was having fun.

"HAHAHA! YOU THINK YOU'RE GONIG TO HIT ME WITH THOSE ARROWS? YOU'RE TOO SLOW! I'LL SLAUGHTER ALL OF YOU BEFORE YOU EVEN HAVE THE TIME TO KNOCK YOUR SECOND ARROW!"

Swooping downward, Regan's blade caught another two goblins before they could react.

"IT'S LIKE FIGHTING TARGET DUMMIES! HAHAHA!"

Suddenly, like Bradwynne, Regan heard a crashing coming through the forest directly towards her.

"OHHH SO FINALLY THEY BRING OUT THE BIG GUNS! YOU KNOW IF YOU WOULD HAVE COME OUT SOONER, A LOT OF YOUR ALLIES OVER HERE MIGHT STILL BE ALIVE!"

No sooner had Regan finished the sentence than out of the dense foliage came out a massive goblin. With the apperance of this new super goblin, several of the others backpedaled and ran for cover while others made their way towards Bradwynne's direction.

Floating in midair, Regan pointed her blade towards the giant goblin.

"WELL COME ON! SHOW ME WHAT YOU'VE GOT!"

Regan charged.

Bradwynne just gasped as @Regan charged in towards the goblin champion. After all his warnings about the ferocity of this monster, she just ignored all of those. For glory, he supposed... wait that rhymes. But for now he had to deal with these goblins immediately or she would die. But maybe this was for the best. From this vantage point, he could effectively support that impulsive person that claimed to be the Vampire Queen of all things - there was already one in this world, and he thought she would not be happy with the usurpation - while attracting the attention of every goblin in this area.

The wings on his back then started to form into true angelic wings, and the golden halo on his head became more elaborate in its decorations. As he floated in the air, streams of light then formed on the ground in concentric circles radiating from him, all the way to the area where Regan and the goblin champion faced each other, distracting every single enemy while Regan would feel her energy starting to revitalize again. As such, the goblins facing him started to lose all composure as they just attacked in wild arcs as Bradwynne anticipated them all and delivered necessary precautions. One by one, the goblins were picked off by Bradwynne's timed slashes, leaving only mangled corpses as the blood freely flowed on the ground barely touching the tip of his boots, the only contact they would manage to deal to him. But Bradwynne's only concern was the weightiest one on the table as he monitored Regan's movements while he battled the goblins.

"Don't you die on me while I do my best performance!"

"HAHAHA, I HOPE YOU'RE TALKING TO THIS OVERGROWN SNOT RAG BECAUSE IT'S THE ONLY THING THAT'S GOING TO DIE TODAY!"

Surging forward, Regan met the large goblin in combat. Wanting to test the goblin's strength, Regan first crossed swords with the goblin. Regan's blade connected with the goblin's weapon and though Regan tried to use brute force to overpower the large creature, it was to no avail.

"YOU'RE STRONG! GOOD! I WANT YOU TO BE AS STRONG AS POSSIBLE SO THAT WAY WHEN I DINE ON YOUR BLOOD EVERYONE WILL KNOW THE POWER I WIELD! HAHAHA!"

Flapping her wings to move backward, Regan readied herself to slam against the creature's weapon once more, only this time even harder. Suddenly, the creature raised it's weapon overhead in an attempt to use a downward attack to slam Regan to the ground.

"HAH! LIKE THAT WOULD WORK!"

Dodging to the side the attack slipped around Regan.

"NOW YOU'VE JUST LEFT AN OPENING!"

Flying forward, Regan aimed for the creature's calf cutting deep. The creature roared in pain and went down on a knee.

"NOW WHAT! WHAT WILL YOU DO GOBLIN! HAVE YOU ALREADY GIVEN UP! GET UP! WE'RE NOT DONE, I KNOW YOU STILL HAVE SOME FIGHT LEFT IN YOU! GET UP!"

20 more goblins, and Bradwynne would become able to fully assist @Regan in her battle. Right now the only thing that he could do was to try stalling the goblin champion with his magic so that it could not fight effectively against her, while also trying to patch her up. But as of currently, this form, as well as his multiple actions of his was sapping a quite sizeable chunk of his energy. Although he was really attuned more into magic than into physical combat as an elite Divine Magic user, it was bad for him to stay this long consuming too much energy. And so he had to finish these goblins quickly and without much energy to do it.

The goblins then mounted another assault, and Bradwynne was ready to meet them all again, but he had to focus on this one that he could not sneak in some assistance to Regan. But fortunately, in an incredible stroke of luck, she managed to wound the goblin champion so hard that it seemed to become crippled on one leg. Hopefully this would continue, as Bradwynne still felt a bad premonition when it comes to goblin champions, one that was tempered by his own experience battling one of the best ones in existence. Those buggers do not give up really easily, and they were strongest when driven back to the walls. Especially in this scenario.

But he could not effectively assist now that he had a massive final attack order to deal with. While trying to cut swaths of goblins off with his ootachi, he then managed to shout out his concerns.

"I AM TALKING TO YOU OF COURSE, SOON TO BE VAMPIRE QUEEN! BE CAREFUL, FOR I CANNOT ASSIST YOU FOR A MOMENT! THAT ONE IS MUCH MORE DANGEROUS WHEN RILED UP AND DRIVEN INTO A SERIOUS SITUATION! BE READY FOR A SET OF ATTACKS MORE FEROCIOUS THAN WHAT YOU MIGHT HAVE EXPERIENCED!"

"HAHAHA! FINALLY, YOU'RE ACKNOWLEDGING MY STATION! EXCELLENT HERO, BUT AS I SAID BEFORE... I DON'T NEED ASSISTANCE!"

These words may have been said prematurely as the injured large goblin howled in rage, it's eyes seething with bloodlust.

"GOOD! GET UP! SHOW ME WHAT YOU'RE REALLY MADE OF! SHOW ME HOW POWERFUL YOU REALLY ARE! HAHAHA!"

Pushing past the pain of Regan's blow, the large goblin charged at her, weapon held to the side ready for a swinging attack.

"COME ON!"

Regan charged at the creature with her full might but as the creature swung its weapon, Regan tried to parry with her own blade. This was a mistake. Though well-made, Regan's saber wasn't strong enough or built for combat with creatures as powerful as this. As Regan's blade met the enemy's weapon, the blade shattered giving way and leaving Regan to take the brunt of the attack.

Smashing into Regan's side, the force of the blow sent the woman flying backward where she would crash harshly into a large tree.

Bradwynne had reduced the number of goblins attacking him to 15, and he then felt his energy slightly recovering for a bit after he had focused fighting the goblins. But it seemed that his partner @Regan was in direr straits than he had imagined. It had seemed that her ferocity in fighting the goblin champion could only go this far, but this was the very thing he had expected to happen. It was just impossible for a newcomer to solo a goblin champion, no matter how skilled they might be in the real world. Now Bradwynne really had to really cover for her. He would never let this growing flower nipped to the bud by such a simple mistake.

Bradwynne then raised his ootachi to cast a grand Divine blessing. His ootachi then glowed blindingly white as the light projected outward of the blade as he channeled more and more energy into it. The goblins around him became blinded and then swung sloppily at him as they tried to come near him. But although he sustained some injuries on his legs, he still continued the spell, as those injuries would be futile when he had delivered it. The large blade then swung downward, delivering a huge explosion of light towards the ground that he had it, totally blinding everything within the area except him and Regan, as every injury they got, even the blindness that would result from the light itself, was healed by the time the light subsided. Wasting no time while the other goblins were blinded, he then moved forward, clearing off any goblins in his path with large arcs of his ootachi, before he went near the goblin champion, an incoming slash aimed towards the huge iron club that was shielding its face as it was still blinded by the light.

"NO, YOU TOTALLY NEED IT TODAY! AS I SAID EARLIER, YOU CANNOT FACE THIS ONE ALONE WITH YOUR CURRENT SKILL!"

The ootachi then made contact with the iron club, as the former glowed furiously with white light.

"YES, BRAVERY IS AN ADMIRABLE TRAIT TO HAVE IN A BATTLE, BUT ONE SHOULD KNOW WHETHER THEIR FOE IS SOMETHING THAT THEY COULD DEFEAT WITH THEIR CURRENT POWER! YOU MAY THINK, 'IT IS BETTER TO TRY THAN NOT AT ALL' AND WHEN YOU DIE 'BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME', BUT HOW LONG WILL THAT RECKLESSNESS LAST? UNTIL SECOND DEATH? UNTIL THIRD DEATH? AND WHEN YOU HAVE EXPENDED ALL YOUR REMAINING LIVES YOU WILL JUST HIDE AWAY SOMEWHERE LAMENTING THAT YOU SHOULD HAD BETTER USED THAT ONE LIFE FOR WHEN IT MATTERED MOST? WHY DON'T YOU START RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW? ACCEPT ASSISTANCE WHEN IT IS FREELY GIVEN UNTO YOU!"

As he then said those words, the ootachi then cleanly sliced through the iron club and then wounded the goblin champion in the face.

"NOW, IF YOU STILL HAVE BRAVERY LEFT IN YOU AFTER THAT NASTY BEATING, THEN STAND UP AND REFOCUS YOURSELF! YOU'RE STILL A WEAK ONE COMPARED TO THIS MONSTER, SO, JUST FOR NOW, SUCK IT ALL UP AND JUST ACCEPT MY ASSISTANCE!"

Staggering, Regan pulled herself up and gritted her teeth.

"THE HELL I CAN'T TAKE THIS THING! HAHAHA! LUCKY SHOT GOBLIN!"

Regan looked at her broken sword and angrily through it at the goblin.

"IF A BLADE LIKE THIS IS GOING TO BREAK THEN I DON'T NEED IT!"

Using the blood from her injuries, Regan created another blood sword for her off-hand. Now wielding two, she was once again ready to enter the fray.

"WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT BRAVERY! THIS ISN'T BRAVERY THIS IS SIMPLY THE DESIRE TO MASSACRE THE ENEMY I SEE IN FRONT OF ME! AND LIKE I SAID, IF I DIE, THEN I DIE!"

With both swords in tow, Regan once again launched herself at the large goblin. Fortunately for her, the goblin believed she had been defeated in a single blow and had turned its back on the woman looking at Bradwynne.

Flying above the large goblin, Regan let herself fall, both blood blades held above her head like fangs.

"DO NOT IGNORE ME!"

As she roared, she plunged the two blades deep into each of the shoulders of the large goblin bringing it down.

Breathing, heavy Regan began to laugh wildly.

Bradwynne then got ready for another slash to further incapacitate the goblin champion, but as he was about to slash his ootachi towards it while it was still reeling from the wound on its face, @Regan took the opportunity by slashing the shoulders of the goblin champion from its back, which sent it reeling from the momentum. But it still managed to remain standing as it then leaned on its uninjured knee to stop the momentum of it falling to the ground. But Bradwynne's ootachi did not stop moving as it then redirected towards the goblin champion's neck, cleanly severing the head from the rest of its body as blood then started to spurt from the wound. But the body did not stop moving, as it then tried to flail its nearly-severed arms towards Regan before it fell to the ground with a massive thud. Bradwynne, after totally severing its arms and legs so that it would not be a threat to anybody, then had his wings and halo dispelled before landing on the ground. The goblins, seeing that their champion fell, began scampering in all directions, just to get away from the two.

"That one was really determined huh? But that was the typical norm for a goblin champion: One really needed to decapitate and quarter one before we will be sure that it will not hurt anybody anymore, and that was not even an assurance."

He then turned to Regan. "So what next? You're going to chase down those goblins again? Or will you proceed to another outpost? If ever, I will do the latter, since you should be fine anyway."

Regan picked herself back up. The fight was won but not without some bruising and fresh cuts.

"HAHAHA! YEAH, DETERMINED TO DIE! GOBLIN CHAMPION, HUH? WELL I GUESS HE EARNED THAT TITTLE, HAHA! STILL, THAT WAS A HELL OF A FIGHT! I DIDN'T COME OUT UNSCATHED BUT I'M STILL BREATHING AND THE OTHER GUY ISN'T. THAT'S WHAT MATTERS!"

Regan tenderly massaged her side where the Goblin's weapon had rammed into her. She then checked herself for blood or any serious wounds. Apparently she was alright and hadn't suffered anything major.

Looking around, she noticed as Bradwynne had said, that the goblins had dispersed. For a moment she thought about chasing them down and hunting through the forest, but then she gingerly touched her side again.

"I think that's enough for today. I could chase them down through the forest, but it won't too much fun if they don't put up a fight. Not to mention my side is kind of killing me. "

Regan let out a hardy laugh.

"STILL, THIS WAS A GOOD DAY'S WORK! HAHA, GOBLINS DEFEATED, A GOBLIN CHAMPION TAKEN DOWN, AND ANOTHER NOTCH TO ADD TO MY RECORD! YOU KNOW, I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO BE REAL ANNOYING THERE HERO, BUT YOU'RE NOT SO BAD. I RESPECT A GOOD FIGHTER, DOES MY HEART PROUD TO SEE SOMEONE THAT CAN HANDLE ENEMIES ABOUT AS WELL AS I CAN! I'M TAKING OFF BUT IF WE RUN INTO EACH OTHER AGAIN, WE CAN SEE WHO CAN KILL THE MOST ENEMIES THE FASTEST! HAHAHA!"

With that Regan turned and began making her way home while throwing Bradwynne a wave as she left.

As Bradwynne then rested the flat of his ootachi on his neck, he then replied to @Regan, who had implied that the only one standing was what mattered, "Yes of course. And so we must polish more of our skills, so that mishaps like that you have experienced will rarely happen again, if ever." He then reflected on that former battle that he had experienced with a much stronger goblin champion. There were a lot to be learned from that battle, and he made sure that he remembered every aspect of it. As it turned out, double-tapping was always the most viable option when it comes to any enemy, especially those which had sheer will like goblin champions.

As Regan then said that she would just call it a day and rest up, Bradwynne just made a wry smile and said, "Yeah, you might really need a rest at the moment. But unlucky for me, I cannot rest as of yet, there were many goblin camps and I have to crush every single one of those so that another incursion will not happen again for a while. Even when I will need to face a goblin champion in every camp." He then walked away from her, issuing a good-bye, saying, "Well good luck to you also. But unlucky for you, I will have the headstart this time!" He then moved away relatively fast, but for him he was just cruising on the ground as he then would seek out another goblin camp.
