DRUUK ISLANDS

Pirate times call for pirate crimes.
The journey was long and not without its trial and tribulations. As all seafaring tends to have. Ayna and her crew, however, were learned folks of the sea. To them, the journey was not as unbearable as the destination: Druuk Islands, a wretched pair of islands, though easy on the eyes. Ayna was told that they were once cages for the exiled and unwanted, though the exiled and unwanted took them for their own. A classic story of lemons and lemonades, except everyone involved had killed at least one man. Maybe even two.
Flanked by her first mate and two others, Ayna boarded the dinghy to, in her own words, get this shit over with. After the events of Red Fever, and after parting ways with the man with the floating rocks, Lyrwick's Lightning, the Stormcatcher herself, decided to go in a different direction. Losing someone you love tends to do that to you, she believed, excusing her own proclivities for treasure and adventure with zero oversight. Soon, she entered the secret room that was a hidden cove where like-minded individuals met every so often, every now and then, to discuss their businesses and concerns. Curse ye another meeting of the Pirate Lords of Druuk Islands.
Ayna knocked on the large wooden table in front of them, rapping her knuckles in three slow counts until she managed to draw in the attention of the others. She had waited patiently for them to convene, to quiet down, but the muffled conversations among themselves were starting to annoy here. It was fair, however, as these people have not seen each other for a while. Pirate Lords tended to their own for inexorbitant amounts of time, and time was a kind of treasure for people like her.

"As she who issued these summons, may I respectfully convene this meeting of the Pirate Lords of Druuk Islands?" (She gestured for one of her men to do the task he was brought here to do.) "Confirm your lordship and the right to be heard! Present now, your pieces of eight, my fellow Captains!"
