11:20 AM - Town of Hanrift

"TIMBER!" Fiora shouted out as the last of the trees fell after no more than five swings. The men nearby didn't have to move an inch, they all already knew exactly the place where it would drop, but by now it was common courtesy should anyone not be paying attention. She wiped the sweat off her brow and granted a look at her 'instructor' for the day.

"Real quick. But that axe won't last a week on your hands if you keep swinging it that hard. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Let the axe do the work, not your arms." He folded his arms against his chest, giving a closer inspection to the tool, then to the downed tree. "Still, that's pretty impressive for a first timer."

She nodded, at least to be courteous enough to let him know she heard, despite her focus quickly darting over to the final log. A few last strikes helped to split it in half, to a much more bearable size for her to rest over one shoulder.

"I'll never get used to that." He smirked. Of course, a Traveler had their benefits, and having the pleasure to work with one had shown just how productive they can be when they aren't shooting spells in every direction or swinging weapons away-- An opinion that slowly begun to lose to it's opposite.

Fiora glanced behind her with a quirked up brow once Elias decided to hold the end of the log on his own shoulder. "I can handle it." At worst it would wear her off a little to keep pushing her body like this, but every bit of exercise ingame she would take it.

"I know. I'm just doing you a favour. You and your friend shouldn't draw too much attention or you might scare some folk, more than they already are." He tried to sound casual about it, but it's hard even for him not to feel unsettled with everything that happened the last few weeks.

"Yeah. You are right. Likewise, let either of us know if a Traveler causes trouble, alright?" She could keep the bitterness well hidden and under control, despite the turmoil inside her and the news of what truly happened when they left.

'It shouldn't have ended like this...' They kept repeating in her mind. Time went through like a flash before they both made it back to town, with Elias leaving behind his peers- They didn't need his supervision, and he wasn't cut for that work anymore.

"Here, let's put it near the pile over the sawmill. You can come pick them up later."

With one last heave the log dropped with the rest, bound with straps all neatly together like a pyramid.

"Alright that's that. If she got here before you then I'm sure Parlí already gave Ronja her full backstory about how she became a smithy and fought flying reptiles and pulled a reaper's spine out with one hand." He chuckled.

Her lips almost curved into a smile. Almost, which had her tour guide ready to point it out, if only she hadn't beaten him first by waving him off down the streets. "Hopefully she didn't forget our list of chores on the way here either. But don't count on it, they look like the type to bounce ideas one with the other."

"Don't let her hear you or she might think you want in too." A shiver ran down his spine at the thought of wasting hours away like that, crossing past the local tavern and the plaza, bolstering with all sorts of folks, from merchants to mere travelers to followers of the ol' but proud chapel, all the way across to search for their smithy. If Ronja was still there, that is.

Ronja worked carefully on her new body. For most of part, her stature and physique didn't change much. She did remove a few gears and components that enhanced her physical capabilities, in order to enhance her mental and magical power output, something that would hopefully stop her from ever getting hijacked once again.

And if it didn't work...

The foreign object that now rested next to her biomagitechnological brain work would do the job, even if it was a more abrupt solution.

Still, changing the details of her face weren't enough, she also needed a new identity.

"Visual Color Palette Change Protocol."

'Hair Default Color Update | Hue: 11, Saturation: 71, Brightness: 120. RGB, Red: 165, Green: 110, Blue: 90.

Eye Default Color Update | Hue: 89, Saturation: 130, Brightness: 152. RGB, Red: 110, Green: 212, Blue: 132.
Skin Default Color Update | N/A.'

"Preview analysis."

A simulation of the supposed changes ran through Ronja's mind, playing over and over in her mind, where she could 'see' with as much detail and attention as she would be able to if she was seeing it with her own eyes.

Her figure, now with changes in her general color, was briefly resembling of her true self. Of course, it was far from a perfect copy... But there was only so much she could change before she had to go into deeper and more dangerous craft. And danger was sure something she would rather avoid.

... Still...

"Ronja still looks pretty cute, doesn't she..?" Even her voice changed slightly. Still hearty and cheerful, but more mature, like the one she bears in her real life... While keeping the energetic feeling it has in her in game self.

With a pleased smile, she nodded.

"Changes. Apply and Confirm."

A layer of hexagons wrapped her eyes, hair and body, slowly shifting the colors she had on her to match the ones from the simulation, until her body was completely changed. Closing and opening her fists, Ronja could look at them with her clicking, camera lens eyes, that now brimmed with a lively green color on the place of the far less natural wine, old ones.

"Perfect. That won't hide Ronja permanently, but..." Her eyes clicked once again. "... It is already an improvement."

Her eyes remained on the lake that reflected her face for a bit longer before she finally averted her gaze and looked back at the town. Not using any of her jetboots, or anything similar, Ronja approached the town, soon aiming to find Fiora, and eventually being able to, listening to her voice.

"Is it like this every morning?" Fiora felt compelled to ask once curiosity bit her while they walked past the crowds and dodged one slow wagon with a lazy side-step out of it's way. Something about it must have sounded funny to Elias with the way he looked back at her like this were her first time watching a town thrive.

"Don't have towns where you are from?" He joked as his hands dangled a piece of cloth, soon after put to use to wash off the dirt from his face. "Life moves on. It's more dangerous than ever but people's got mouths to feed."

Common sense applied against her, she couldn't do more but assent to that. "We got plenty of towns, but most choose to live in cities. Villages and the sort are nothing compared to the ones here." She added. Similarities? Yes. But it still didn't quite match-up with a fantasy setting, and most people had electricity and some form of technology that Terrasphere didn't.

It took her quite a moment to recognize the strange figure that seemingly aimed to cross paths with the duo, just as long as it did for her singular magenta eye. For a moment, Ronja might have seen the indifference with which Fiora regarded strangers, only for all that cold to be sunken in realization the moment she blinked and squinted her gaze a little.

"Ronja?" She asked outloud, with Elias just staring at the pair, moreso to the elf who almost couldn't recognize the person she's supposed to be reuniting with in the first place.

He took a quick note of Ronja's looks, and he wasn't the only one, given the townsfolk did so too, and he half-hoped they all could wave it off as weird armor design rather than the alternative.

Hurried steps carried her closer to her beloved and her new form. Overtune denied her from flustering however, but it couldn't keep her heart from skipping a beat once her mind begun to piece together the similarities with the real Ronja.

It had to be her. From the way she moved to the life in these emerald eyes.

"Now I feel out of place." She smiled once Fiora imagined Nico- Well, herself, picking up her charming robot princess. "You looking cute like always." And far more protected. Or at least, all that outfit had to be for something compared to the borderline skin-tight outfit of usual. But physical aspects never were what made Ronja the person she loved. But to see her closer to her real life counterpart made her... Dreamy. Hopeful, even.

When Fiora looked at Ronja, the magia girl rested her hands behind her back. The singular eye looking at her made her feel a pang of guilt strike her chest. She would never get used to that sight, and she hoped she could help her to fix it at some point, as long as her magitech developed enough for it.

Eventually, Fiora spoke her name, and Ronja couldn't help but muster a faint smile, before holding her head and tapping her index on her temple.

"Photo, photo." Her eyes retracted, clicking twice before returning back to normal, and allowing herself to be picked up by Fiora, letting out a small squeak before giggling looking at her lover.

"You aren't out of place..." Ronja said, with warm smile and cheeks, that reddened while Ronja leaned in to hug Fiora, holding her fondly for a moment before she finally loosened, finally noticing the man next to her, raising a greeting hand and waiting to placed back to her feet.

"Ronja hopes she didn't make you wait for too long." She said. "What are you doing?" Ronja questioned.

"Photo, photo."

That's all she needed to muster a cheerful smile and pick her up like she were feather-weight, hugging Ronja as if it they had been months apart.

"Photo, photo~" Fiora replied, fondly pressing her forehead against Ronja's moments before putting her down on her feet once again. "Just a little less thanks to you." She commented, tucking a few pinkish locks behind her ear. Once Ronja paid notice of Elias the man raised a hand up for a brief wave.

"You didn't. We were just about to go look for you at the smithy, but I guess you already met Parlí?" Arms under her bust against the newcomer's shirt, well worn and stitched from all these months gone without replacement. "Well, this is Elias. He works at the sawmill here in Hanrift. Mantains it, since it utilizes magic to power the whole thing up. I've been helping him out in exchange of a lesson or two and some wood." She paused, eye resting on the Lander, who already had plenty of an

" Fiora here told me you two are in need of some supplies, and my sister so happens to also be the best blacksmith around Hanrift. She'll probably push your request a few priorities up if I ask her. Besides, It's the least we can do." The reflection in his eyes spoke of plenty positive experiences with Travelers. It felt out of place not to pay them back with what they could do. "You two sure make an interesting duo compared to others I've met of your type."

Fiora hummed in thought, giving a glance back to Ronja with a knowing smile. "Yeah, yeah we do. But it sounds like you got lucky if you met others like us." Her hand unconciously offered itself to the magia just as Elias took the lead towards the Smithing Shop. One could see the sign swinging by the breeze at this distance, reading 'The Smouldering Hand'

"I wouldn't say too many to be fair! But point taken." He laughed

Ronja closed her eyes when their foreheads met, letting out a pleased sigh while snuggling onto Fiora's hold for a moment, before she was released from her arms, with her feet firming on the ground while tilting her head. "Pink always looked really nice on you." She complimented, with her pupils clicking once again, then tilting her head. "Ronja actually didn't meet Parlí, she wasn't on the Smithy... She was taking care of these new changes, that took longer than she expected." She said, resting a finger on her chin, before peeking at the greeting man, sheepishly raising a hand of her own.

"Hello, Elias. It is a pleasure to meet you." She said with a faint smile. "It is impressive that you can run all of this on your own, Ronja admires it." The magia nodded eagerly, then rubbing the back of her neck as she pondered a bit about the requests.

"Ronja will indeed need plently of supplies. Both of us will." Ronja added, with a brief sigh.

There was a faint giggle at the mention of them being an interesting duo, with a flush crossing her cheeks. "Ronja does agree we are probably... Unusual. But Ronja wouldn't have it any other way." She said, before taking Fiora's hand just as instinctively as it was offered, but not before the magia looked Fiora up and down.

"But what you really need is new clothes, Fiora."

Fiora smiled, with a brow perked up curiously, eye hovering over Ronja's hairs for a moment, long enough to be caught on the act. "I don't know. I like brown a lot too. Should have changed it to that." She added, waving a hand dismissively after Ronja explained her whereabouts. "It was clearly worth it though. You look dashing, love." Her compliment ended with Elias's grimace, moreso at the idea of visiting his sister on a 'first time meeting' with new people. God knows how long she's gonna take if left to talk their heads out.

"Never alone. I just do my part, and people do theirs. I organize and help wherever I can. You could say I'm a bit of everything in Hanrift." He gave a better insight. Elias couldn't keep the credit, and he never did so in the past. He worked so others could work better and have a nice first impression of their town. "Admire the people of Hanrift instead, we are all a... 'Hardworking bunch', as a Traveler once put it."

"Not me, if you are wondering. But it's the truth." She soon interrupted to let that much known, with Elias chuckling off, and her attention switching from him back to Ronja who already let the weigh of the requests settle on her shoulders. "Yeah, plenty of 'em. Good thing we are in this together, so it's gonna be a breeze." Cheerful in her own way, despite the muted energy within her voice, a side-effect she couldn't wear off from her elven heritage.

That didn't stop her shock when the magia's eyes settled on her only to critique her clothes out of a sudden, a laughter escaping from Elias to the pinkette's reactions and how she kept checking herself as if now made self-aware of it.

"New clothes? What's wrong with these?" Fiora retorted. Certainly the newbie Starcalled robe-turned-shirt saw better days, specially after wearing little but that in Vintergard. It was effective, simple and well padded, good enough traits to wear underneath her armor and gambeson alike. "You know it ain't fair when you can make your own clothes and fix them in a blink of an eye. But if it ain't broken, don't fix it I say." That didn't apply here with how many stitchings her clothes had. But instant responses were something she did plenty of.

"how about this: while you go down the market and find Fiora something to wear so she stops looking homeless, I'll talk with my sister and leave part of your requests for her to work on." And that was all directed only to Ronja, given it's clear whose the brains and brawns in this interesting duo. That and he didn't want to give Fiora a say after that poor defense of hers.

"Fine, but you know what? Only if you buy some for you too." She huffed, squeezing Ronja's hand a little.

Ronja looked at Fiora with a sheepish smile, tucking a bit of her hair behind her ear and averting her gaze, shifting between the man and her lover, a bit embarrassed that they were acting rather lovey-dovey in front of someone else... But she didn't shy away, regardless. "Thank you... Ronja worked really hard on it. She needed to go through a lot of variables." Ronja said, then smiling at Fiora. "If you ever wish to, Ronja can dye your hair brown as well!" She said, then averting her attention to the man.

"So it is a group effort. Ronja admires that, Elias." Ronja sparkled, happy to know that they were in a village filled with hardworking people. Considering how honest they were, she probably wouldn't need to worry about being backstabbed either, which was another good point for the choice of staying in this area.

Her attention, however, soon shifted to Fiora and her clothes, letting out a sigh. "Yes, new clothes. A little more and you will look like a hobo. Ronja suggests we should buy some for you." Her gaze then shifted to Elias once again.

"Exactly, thanks Elias!" She nodded eagerly, then looking back at Fiora.

"Ronja is perfectly fine with that. She will buy some clothes to herself then." Ronja agreed with the terms, not really feeling bothered about the idea. "That is actually a nice thing. Ronja has never bought clothes with you." Ronja hummed, squeezing Fiora's hand back, before letting it go so she could cling on Fiora's arm instead, only closing their distance even more.

"Maybe, but I'll enjoy the pink first." She smiled and kept her cool despite how she felt like putty on Ronja's hands. Was she so naive as to have missed what she meant with that entirely? Fiora wished to think so. The 'clueless beauty' was one of the things that never failed to make her smile and giggle to herself.

"Would love to give you a better tour around. People may be a bit skeptical at first, but they trust my judgement. They will warm up to you two, just give them time." His hopes held high, his hand waving away these feelings once he felt ready to start babbling about the town. "For now go get the hobo some clothes." He laughed, at the expense of Fiora's sigh.

"I can't believe I'm getting teamed against already- And what's that about hobo, huh?" She huffed, glancing down to herself once again and pulling from the edges of her shirt, her expression turning into a 'Okay I kinda see why now' "At least I'll get to see you model some new style for me." She nodded, satisfied plenty with their agreement.

An eyebrow perked up once she felt their hands part ways, only to feel like a dummy once their arms locked together as usual, smiling to herself and accepting the role of guide with a supportive hold on Ronja. "We were short on time when I paid you a visit. Next time we can go shopping together like this, but I figure we have to wait it out a little. Don't want your parents to worry you are bringing a stranger over or anything... Right now though, help me out when picking clothes, nothing too revealing for me though." Memories of that time were they both visited a shrine and she had to wear a kimono with too much breathing room came to mind.

This one had to be one of the oldest buildings from the inside and outside. The sign reading 'Arrows & Threads' almost gave mixed signals about what it was supposed to be, but the exposition of it's inventory with dresses ranging from the simplest to most elaborate you could expect people in a town were the definition of overqualifications.

What it lacked in aesthetics beyond the rustic feeling inside were compensated by the articles in display, which seemed to range from actual clothing pieces to the very tools a tailor would use, mainly silks and linen samples that were left for would-be tailorers or those who needed said things for other reasons could buy.

A bow rested behind a counter, hanging proudly as if to give an actual meaning to the 'arrow' part of the place's name.

"Looks like a gobl-" Fiora's whispers to her lover were cut off as some yelling erupted past the curtains that led to what had to be the backrooms of the shop.

"DUN CARE! LESS TALKIN' MORE SPINNIN'" A woman's voice with a heavy accent grumped, and loud steps could be heard before the curtains were parted and the woman revealed herself, seemingly ignoring her own customers, at least until she jumped onto her stool to get on size with the counter.

"Oh-" She blinked, giving a better look at both Ronja and Fiora alike, resting her elbows over the oak. "I didn't expect Elias's new buddies to be a giant and a bot." The faerin scratched at her chin, as if trying to judge their character with just a pointy stare.

"Everyone in town already knows this or what?" Fiora retorted in disbelief, folding her arms under her bust.

Somehow, that made the Faerin laugh, getting a confused look on the pinkette's features.

"Nah. Just me. I'm just tha' good. If I don't know, no one knows, tha's just the rule around 'ere. I've seen yer kind time and time again. Now, for starters, she gets a discount." She pointed out to Ronja specifically. "She's cute, small, rare, and clearly knows how to dress. But you don', cuz first impressions are important."

"...Sounds like you are just jealous that I'm tall." She pointed out after staring with a pokerface for about ten seconds or so.

"Yup!" And she didn't miss a second to admit it, drumming her fingers over the table.

"Well, to be honest, I need something comfortable. Kind of like what I'm wearing, but without all the bad about it." She said, nodding her head in Ronja's direction before turning her gaze back to her lover. "Not sure what you looking for? Dresses always looked cute on you. Maybe a blue one, but it depends on how simple or hard you want to go with the style. I don't think you need work clothes like me though." Not when she is the brawns. But then again, Ronja did knew how to rock a farmer's look last time.

"There's plenty o' display if ye' want to check somethin first. Most folks don't wear fancy around 'ere though. This is a town full of workers, not royalty. But I do both, if that's what ya' wonderin'." She said with a prideful smile over her lips.

"Ronja will be counting on you, Elias." The magia chirped, happy for the offer for help, and then glancing over to Fiora, tilting her head. "No promises for that. Ronja thinks you look really nice on girly outfits." Ronja admitted, raising her eyebrows for emphasis of her interest.

Her gaze trailed around as they finally reached the shop, with the ringing bell being the one thing that announced their entrance in the shop. Ronja was mostly charmed by the place, looking at the clothes that were exposed with an excited expression, already wondering how Fiora would look on some of them, and having of course a bit of a selfish daydreaming about some pieces that could fit on herself too.

However, it didn't take long for them to be surprised by the loudness of the faerin, that made Ronja jump as her heart leaped in her chest.

"Ronja theoretically isn't a bot per se, but you aren't entirely wrong." Ronja said, and then smiled. "Name is Ronja though." She introduced herself, then having her cheeks flushing at the compliment of the fearin, and then giggling at the dynamics between her and Fiora.

It also didn't take long for them to start getting onto business, and Ronja didn't hesitate to give her own preferences.

"Ronja will probably be taking something more... of the people of the land." She said. "She is a bit tired of standing out. So it should be humble too." Ronja elaborated, before then taking a step away.

"Ronja will be going to check some of the pieces you have with Fiora then, is it fine, Miss..?" Ronja lingered the last bit, expecting the shopkeeper to tell her name.

Fiora made sure to try and keep Ronja on her feet to the best of her ability, with how jumpy she had gotten just from the shouting grumbling of earlier, with the 'beast' finally revealing itself to just be a shortie Faerin. The explanation given to their hostess being a bit unecessary, but that could only be her fear of letting anyone eavesdrop on them in the first place.

"Ya', I know. Ye are even more different to the REAL bots. There didn't use to be yer type years ago. And I mean, ya' know you gotta pay for what you want, so yer another customer for me." It wasn't in her right to discriminate afterall. She had plenty of experience with people assuming the worst about herself. "Ye are in good luck though, because I don't usually offer yer 'Traveler' fashion, usually. It's not on the front at least. Most folks aroun' ere' don't really dig the style."

"Makes sense..." She added, leaving the little ones to talk things out, a finger gently stroking over Ronja's back as she walked past her. There were plenty of combinations to fit anyone's taste, and the abudance seemed to imply more than just hard work or overcompensation. One could outfit the whole town again, if there was plenty on the back of the store like they just said.

But with all these dresses, a witty smile crossed her lips as she picked up one of them and begun to fidget with her inventory.

"I'm Renée. But René works too, I don't mind. Pleasure to meet ya', Ronja." She rised an eyebrow though once she noticed something flicker and disappear out of a sudden. "The giant's name is Fiora, right? Go ahead and pick to yer heart's content. Can always head to the back if ya' want to change, but if I'm not mistaken, ye are Travelers so... You can do all that flashy stuff like she is doing right now." She pointed out to the pinkette once again.

And Fiora finally stepped forth, with something a little different on her shoes and holding onto the white silk with one hand. "Something girly like this?" She called out for Ronja's attention, having used her inventory to get not only rid of her torn clothes, but to change on a simple pearly toned dress with a black ribbon beneath her bossom and a diamond-cut over her chest. "Should be more careful with what you wish for~" She winked back at Ronja. Despite this being a very simplistic design, it almost made her want to go out to a ballroom with it. It was beautiful with this footwear of choice, afterall.

"Check to your left, I think I can see a few that could work well with you." The pinkette added, lowering her hand if only to take a grasp over the bottom of her dress, lifting it slowly to reveal an ankle, her gaze gave away her intent entirely so, even if the so-perceptive René couldn't get what she was doing exactly. But she let go before she could show any more skin, with a knowing giggle to conclude with.

Ronja giggled at the faerin's words. "Do you mean Ronja isn't a real bot? What is she then?" She rested her hand on her waist with a jestful smile to the woman in front of her. Two clicks from her eyes showed her curiosity regarding the fact there didn't use to have 'bots like her' in the past. She knew, from MIT reports, that magitech as it currently exists wasn't a thing back then. Instead, everything was tinkering, and it only went as far as the 'true' technology would allow.

"You are right, Ronja is a Traveler." A nod sealed a confirmation, and she turned around.

"Anyway, the pleasure is all Ronja's, René. Ronja will be seeing the wonderful clothes you have for her." She chirped, tapping her fingers together in a warm grin.

Ronja followed to try and check the clothes, one after another. Her gaze focused mostly on Lander-ish clothes, mostly rumble ones while pushing aside the fancier looking, and some of traveler fashion that were the great minority at the shop.

Her eyes shifted to see Fiora with her dress when being called, and Ronja perked up, looking her up and down and letting out a whistle. "You are gorgeous, Ni-ora!" Ronja nearly slipped a name upon the surprising and beautiful sight, and upon the gesture of slowly revealing bottom, Ronja's eyes clickled, several times as if it was a paparazzi's camera.

"Beautiful, amazing~ Photo, photo! Photo all the way~" She giggled, circling Fiora, taking one last glance at Fiora's face and pressing her own temple for another 'photo'. "Ronja stands for this." Ronja nodded, then pausing to cast a glance at where her lover had suggested. "Ronja will take a look..." She muttered, with her eyes retracting as she started to work on it...

faMmKpb.jpg
Taking a dress of her choice, Ronja swapped around her User Interface and soon her clothes disappeared, with her body being coated by a convenient light that only faded when the new dress materialized on her body, wrapping and covering

With the dress on her, Ronja casted a glance at the elf, skipping near her and swirling for a moment before halting and resting her hands behind her back, tilting her head with an angle that allowed her eyes to take the highlight, and to expose her neck along along with her collarbones and cleavage.

She locked her gaze on Fiora for a moment, showing a warm smile before bending and leaning closer.

"So, how does Ronja look?" She asked.

"Fack If know. A real one would be blastin' my whole shop right now, that much I know. I met a few like you. Kinda hard to spot them, but they are all Travelers. Not many around 'ere know how, though." Which probably served Ronja right, if she had to think of a benefit of looking all fleshy. "Pleasure's still mine, though. Always nice to meet a same-sized girl. An ambassador I presume, given you friends' with miss giant over here." She laughed, the sort of obnoxious laugher that made Fiora's ear screech a little. Of course, being the butt of the joke here.

"Did you hear something?" Fiora simply pointed out, looking as clueless and as innocent as she could, to the disdain of the shopkeeper who just squinted and accepted that comeback right there.

The whistle followed up a slip up from Ronja that almost had her hair jump. She couldn't blame her for using her real name this much, enough that the one she picked in game had started to be forgotten.

"You gonna need a new hard drive if you keep this up." The flurry of pictures from Ronja's 'cameras' made her giggle as the magia circling her like a professional photographer would for every angle, and Fiora held that position for a little longer until she stopped. "I thought about studying that tech myself. If you help me out, we could give it a go and try making an actual camera and start filling the workshop with some portraits one day." She let go of her dress and turned over to pick something a little less girly for her second option and more practical. "Okay let me be a bit more direct," She exhaled a chuckle. "I just want pictures with you, since you can't do these with your first person shots." Her fingers rushed over across the surface of a belt and a very simple looking sleeveless shirt. Something to use while working, that's for sure.

Ronja's steps made her ear flicker a little, glancing over her shoulder before turning fully to face her, Ronja caught mid-swirling before settling down with a pose for Fiora to lock eyes with her, spacing out

for a moment as she submerged herself in these emerald orbs, smiling seconds after she snapped from her daydream and back to reality.

"So, how does Ronja look?"
"Like a dream come true."
Her smile widened, and then her eye went to a different set of orbs, hardly possible not to given Ronja's chosen posture and her own height, before darting up again at the same time her face reddened. "You are asking for it, huh..?" Fiora bit her own cheek then pulled up her UI before anything else, letting this second outfit swap places with her dress after a very convinient light glimmered all over her shape.

"How about this? Since you don't like my 'hobo' clothes, might aswell get a new pair while I work. Can't go around cutting down wood and lifting frames with a dress." And this also highlighted her muscles well enough, and the strength behind each bicep with a little bit of a flex for Ronja to see. "Could let you sit on one of these and carry you around like that." She smirked.

Swaying with her dress to face Renée, Ronja giggled and nodded. "You could say that. At the very least, Ronja is the one with diplomatic skills in here. Fiora's diplomacy is a bit rougher than Ronja's methods." She said, looking at the supposed 'giantess' with a grin. Honestly, she was very used to everyone being rather tall in this game, and after meeting the 'real' Fiora, it was hard to see her as a giant woman. Which was good, because then she could fit in Ronja's heart a bit easier.

"Inventing a camera would be nice for others that can't have it. Besides, upgrading a camera is safer than upgrading Ronja's eyes, that's for sure." She nodded, trying to keep her voice down, as to not make them have to wonder for too long what a 'camera' is. However, as soon as Fiora explained what she truly meant, Ronja perked up. "Oh right, Ronja... Can't take selfies with you... Unless we have a mirror."

A small smirk then crossed her lips, and she winked. "Yes, Ronja is asking for it." She made it clear, albeit her cheeks became rosy when she was told to be a dream coming true. "So you really liked it... Ronja will buy this one then." Ronja's smile was warm, tugging the dress and swirling again, before slowly reaching for another clothing, and then gazing back at Fiora with her new clothes, having a small 'o' on her lips. "That goes really well on you, Fiora~" She giggled, approaching and poking the flexed biceps, slipping an 'oooh' and trying to squish it a bit, with no success. "Ronja is not that small and light, but if you can carry her on an arm, she is down." Ronja snickered. "She loved it." Her head tilted, looking at Fiora's eyes and then reaching for another piece of cloth, this time a longer shirt, with a hooded shawl and far more covered and with pants instead of a skirt.

RczvK6b.png
She meddled with the User Interface, quickly swapping her outfit and opening her arms as she tested it out, making a few sharp movements. "It is a bit heavier but... It is so warm..." She closed her eyes, embracing herself for a moment, and then glancing at Fiora.

"It has a hoodie too, so Ronja can go spy mode-" She tucked her head into the hoodie, with most of her features disappearing, aside from the fluorescent highlighting under it.

"Thou time hath come, Traveler." Ronja said, in a solemn and cold voice.

"Hey now-" Fiora interjected, catching René with her lips parted. Just in time before some extra jab went against her. "People who don't listen to you usually change their minds when I'm diplomacing. That's called teamwork." She excused herself and her harsh politics while smirking back at Ronja.

"You Travelers are so weird..." She shook her head and smiled at the duo. She didn't even want to think about what a 'camera' is, but watching them get all lovey-dovey in her shop just made her want to go have some harsh diplomacing with her co-worker. "I'll be right back in fact, I might have something for you two free of charge." She waved a hand and headed to the back of the shop with a quick stroll on her step.

When Ronja finally picked up on the drawbacks of her camera eyes, Fiora let her right hand drop over her head and stroke her hairs for a second. "Probably easier to do one too instead of upgrading your eyes. It would be very creepy if your eyes could just pop out and take screenshots for us, so let's not." She chuckled.

Confirmation was all Fiora needed for a chill to crawl up her spine, pursing her lips in approval before a smile tugged from it's corners. "Do it again in private and we'll see about it." Her tone casual. Her eyes, not so much as she outright dared her to. But it wasn't that what flustered her cheeks but her word of earlier, getting a rise from her brows.

"Less is better I say. Flashy stuff ain't my kind of deal, even if I don't mind it. That said, you look amazing in Lander fashion." She added, giving a moment for Ronja to admire both outfit and biceps, lifting herself up once Ronja tried to squish it in order to push her up too. "Nah you ain't, but I didn't pick every strength mastery for nothing. Besides, I get a lot of work-out done while playing." She said. It's a physically demanding game afterall with all the walking and running and slashing...

But with that aside, outfit number two got the green light from Ronja-- Another one to the bag.

The elf gave a little look up and down at the radical change in choice her lover did. It made her look heavier but well prepared for Hylands Ascent if that's where she wanted to go. The technical aspects of it washed away as the cute sight of Ronja hugging herself made her heart skip a beat and almost die from excess of sugar.

"Can never go wrong with winter fashion I say. Might be able to make you a scarf if René sells me some materials." She mentioned, and almost instantaneously after Ronja mentioned (and activated) her spy mode, a severe, intense look upon her face put in display her disbelief and shot back at the hooded magia, striking a 'I'm shocked' adventurer pose with one leg infront of the other, and a hand reaching for her imaginary sword's hilt. "No, it can't be... My beloved is a robot lander in an ilegal game?!" Fiora called out with such dramatics, one could consider this the cliche of the protagonist saying the novel's title.

But her face couldn't hold out that look for long, relaxing her stance as she cut the distance between both and leaned down a little, pressing their lips for one passionate smooch that would have lasted a little longer, had a cough not made the hairs atop of her head spike up and straighten herself almost instantly so.

"Look at the lovebirds... Here, this reminded me of you two. Hope you enjoy it." She dropped a plate over the counter, with a few slices already on the plate for them to take.

"Ain't denying it. Nor the free food." Fiora grinned and stretched a hand out to pick the biggest slice available and offer it back to Ronja. Just by the look of it she could tell this was quality stuff, even if all meant for a joke. A bite confirmed that much. "...Prhegtty goosh." She muttered with he

r mouth stuffed, clapping her hands clean before heading over to pick something heavier for clothing.

This time it came with a shawl and a scarf. Separate of course, but pushing everything into her UI meant she could wear it all at once and not have to worry about each separate article too much. It came with a sash and a dress, and her old necklace made for a good extra around the hip, even if she didn't use it that much nowdays.

Feathers made her ticklish around the collarbone.

"How about this? Pretty wintery to me, makes me feel like a big fluffy elf for some reason." She span on her heel to better showcase it. Her wrists were particulary warm with these, but the dress didn't feel obstructive at all. "Puts 'Traveler' on the title for sure."

There was a brief nod to the faerin lady, with a curiosity raising in Ronja's mind until Fiora mentioned 'removing' the eyes to take a picture. "Actually, Ronja can remove her eyes. But that wouldn't allow Ronja to be represented in her full form, as she would be lacking an eye or two." She explained the obvious, knowing it was obvious, but doing it anyway because it would be funny to see Fiora's reaction.

Ronja then winked when told to repeat the same tease in private, as a sign that she would do it when she could, but mostly adjusting herself to the new piece she had on her. "Ronja thinks you look amazing as well. Lander fashion is pretty, but Ronja is a bit biased, she has always been a bit of a fan of this kind of clothes." She swayed- And perhaps, it did make sense, considering she sometimes wore old fashioned dresses in real life, that made her look like a granny that had just drank a potion of youth.

She huffed, puffing her chest when Fiora played along with her pretend, but a giggle followed and she drew the hood out of her face, before reaching for another outfit, casting a side glance at the cheese that the faerin had returned with, and perking up at the approval of her lover.

"Hold some for Ronja then!" She said, using her free hand to reach for a cheese, and taking a soft bite of it while her body began calculating every process and ingredient that went through it.

jG9LSMR.png
"Mm-" She turned to look at Fiora's new look. "Ronja thinks it fits you really well. It does hide your muscles a bit though, which is a shame." Ronja giggled, playing around with her User Interface, and soon bringing out her new choice. "But you are a big fluffy elf-" She said, moments before her clothes suddenly changed.

"Hmm..." She tried to lean away,so she could try and have a better look at herself, and frowning while she couldn't seem to grasp it well.

"It is a bit too formal. Not exactly flashy, but Ronja supposes she can't catch a lot of attention." Ronja explained, turning to look at Fiora, tilting her head while pondering about her choice, that didn't feel as nice as she wanted.

"Oh, how about you pick up something for Ronja next, and then Ronja will pick up something for you?" She inquired, curious.

When Ronja pulled an 'Actually' on her and went on to explain just what her mind didn't need a mental image of, the magia had doomed her lover to the dreads of uncanny imagination, with one eye, and then with no eyes at all. "...Leeet's keep those pretty eyes where they belong and not flying around." Fiora said, stretching a hand out to pinch her cheek. "That's for making me imagine all that." She smiled, content with the fair punishment administered. One out of two at least, given Ronja soon after sealed her fate for later with a wink.

"We can always try something you aino't used to and see what sticks and what doesn't?" Fiora questioned, watching her sway around, with her arms folded under her bust while appreciating the cute view. "I think It looks great on you! Besides, I'm in a fantasy world dammit." She laughed a little despite her tone raising a bit to showcase playful annoyance. "I want to wear fantasy clothes, not some basic jeans and a white shirt. I can do that out of the game." She explained, giving another bite to the cheese offered by René, who...

" What in Rhiannon's name are 'jeans'..." She muttered to herself, holding a smile for the two weirdos, and distracting herself with yet another slice instead of pondering too hard on their antics.

Unlike Fiora, Ronja was far more capable on detecting everything the cheese was made of. In fact, she could almost savour just how many of each ingredient was used, or at least guess, given the simplicity of it's craft, with about 2 gallons of water, 1/4 cup cultured buttermilk, with 1/4 of calcium chloride on a teaspoon diluated in a cup of cool water, 2 tablespoons of sea salt divided, and about 1/8 vegetarian rennet, diluted right before put in use in a 1/4 cup of cool, nonchlorinated water.

In other words: Delicious.

With a new set, she couldn't help herself but spin gently on place to give Ronja a better view of each article, the 'shame' of it making her grin and wiggle her brows back at her. "Sounds like someone should have taken pictures when she got her chance." She stretched her arms upwards, before waiting for Ronja's next turn on their fashion back and forth. "Hugs from the big fluffy elf are free for you." She added, watching as Ronja tried to find the 'spark' on this last outfit.

Fiora scratched away at her chin, impressed on this choice and a bit curious if she took her words to heart and tested out something that didn't fit her that well in the first place. Despite that, Ronja made it work well, if her own heartbeats were a rating system of sorts for this. "It looks fancy for a town like this, but it doesn't match your style that well I'd say." Fiora's brows lowered into a squint, seeking to identify exactly what made it looks so out of place with the magia. "Hmm... Maybe without a skirt and some pants? Gives you an air of strength that contrasts with how cute and small you look." Her neutral voice tried to be as impartial as possible here and just use what she deemed as facts.

"You would be right on that. I used to sell products in Finweald, and a lot of the stock from around that time's still here. You can find some fancy stuff, but it doesn't sell well around here. Pretty common sight on a city though." She explained, if that would help Ronja make a choice at all.

When given the option to pick something for Ronja, a cheerful smile grew almost instantly on her face as she clasped her hands together. "Deal!" She replied excitedly. Something already had come to mind as a dress she's been eyeballing for a while now came to mind, then tilted her head a little as she met Ronja's eyes once again

"Let's wear them at the same time though. Wouldn't be fun if we didn't." Fiora said, strolling past her lover with a determined gait on her, fiddling over a beautiful yellow and blue dress and it's neck ribbon. It even came with a little blue hat to match with the outfit. For a moment she hoped this wouldn't be too elegant, what with the frills and smooth texture.
image.png

'Maybe this one for later..?' Her mind took note of where it was and moved on to something that matched more with the criteria of what insight she gave Ronja earlier for formal wearing mixed with pants, at least to let her see her point of earlier.

"You ready for round one..?" Fiora turned her eye over to Ronja, not wanting to get close and spoil the 'surprise' before she was ready too.

"Alright, here you go. Call it my attempt to explain better what I said earlier." She offered the clothes resting over her forearm to Ronja, a combination that without a doubt could look even more formal than this, but with it's simplicity in design it kept it humble enough.

Fiora's back tensed just a little, like how one feels when in the middle of a chess match trying to mask an obvious weak point on their defenses. How 'form fitting' these pants were could be awfully suspicious for Ronja, but she hoped that would somehow slip past unnoticed thanks to tunnel vision.

"Beeeh-" Ronja slipped a funny sound when her cheek was pinched in retaliation, giggling and looking at her lover with a small smirk, shrugging. "Ronja agrees, we should dress as much as we want in the realms of fantasy, right? AHEM, Ronja means, in the realms of Arcia." She rapidly corrected herself, also giving a fierce nudge on Fiora's sides, trying to warn her to not speak like that in front of a lander.

She tossed another piece of cheese into her mouth as Fiora went on, explaining a bit about how her current outfit may need more pants and less skirts. So less cutesy? Sounded like a crime, but Ronja could understand where she wanted to get.

"So more gap dynamics, yeah?" She wondered, nodding partially and glancing at Renée. "If you say so... Ronja may avoid this then. There are far better choices than this one in this shop." Ronja sighed, but also, she couldn't help but perk up when her idea was agreed by her lover.

"Wearing them at the same time..? Fair!" She agreed with the conditions, with her eyes clicking twice.

p823Ldv.png
Fidgeting around her options, it didn't take long for Ronja to reach for something that... Indeed looked a bit more on the side of 'fantasy', as Fiora had put into words.

It certainly wasn't your everyday clothing, but it gave room enough for them to mesh well with the other people's outfit.

At the worst of the cases, they would think she was someone from an adventurer or simply a personal guard, which wasn't too far from what Fiora actually did, considering she protected Ronja just like a guard would to their hire... Though in their case, it was more than just a hireling and hirer relationship.

Regardless, Ronja soon gave her choice to Fiora, smiling and taking her own clothes. "Ronja would love this. Let's try both at the same time then." She hummed, keeping the clothes wrapped on an arm, while the other opened her User Interfance, giving a moment for Fiora to prepare.

"Whenever you are ready, love." She said, warmly.

The temptation to keep pinching was real, but she kept it to herself and listened, her brows raising in confusion as Ronja gave an actual name to the world of Terrasphere, and half a 'what' came out of her lips before a groan replaced it, taken by surprise by the magia's elbow. Her eye went over to René and she cleared her throat quickly after. "Y-yeah! Arcia. Clothing from the realm of Arcia..." Fiora repeated mindlessly.

"You two gonna make me grow grey hair with all your Traveler non-sense." René laughed, stuffing her mouth full of cheese once again to chew and swallow before continuing. "You two ain't the first travelers I meet, Ronja. I heard this kind of stuff plenty and got good at ignoring it. Still, thank you, I appreciate the effort." The faerin smiled with far more honesty this time. "I can clearly see whose the brains from you two so... Be careful. Not everyone's as nice or as tired as me." She warned. A bit of advice rather.

"Right. Sorry, René." Fiora sighed, scratching her nape a little before giving a nod back to the tailor. "It's just a bit of an instinct to use words like that. Still kind of adapting to calling it Arcia." She explained. Truth to be told, the name didn't come up often enough on her adventures and neither on books, thanks to the short supply of these.

She turned back to Ronja at the mention of 'gap dynamics' that left her humming over the idea. "If you mean gaps on the clothes that's up to you." Fiora shrugged, smiling soon after. "So long as you like it I say. No reason to call it fashion if it ain't personal." She added, hearing a similar excitement out of Ronja for her offer and handing over the piece she picked, receiving in return what she was supposed to wear.

And at a first glance, it was pretty fancy, but something she would totally fit into, and something about it almost made it the 'right' outfit to wear while using her sword, with how shiny it had gotten.

To hear Ronja already give a positive answer was heartwarming on itself, and once inquired she nodded, pulling her UI up and placing this outfit on her inventory before hovering the 'use' option with her finger. "At the count of three-- One... Two... Three!" She exclaimed, and seconds after a light shun through her body and her clothes shifted with what her lover planned to see them wear.

Her cheeks flustered a little when the outfit of choice didn't need any more imagination to assist it, as now Ronja wore it and gave her a better picture of it. Moreso how far reality blew the imaginary version out of the water. Far better than she first expected. Her one eye did it's best to savour every inch from Ronja, wiggling a finger on the air. to gesture her to spin on place.

"We really match with these, huh? I should have gone fancier with yours though, but I ain't complaining. You look like our workshop's girlboss like this." Which wasn't off the mark given whose the true inventor between both of them, but her mind pieced things together later on with images of a bossy-attitude on Ronja coming to mind. "You are, so it checks out."

Fiora moved over closer to Ronja to give her a clearer look, then glanced down to check it out herself, straightening her clothes with both hands before turning around and glancing over her shoulder as she struck a pose. "I'm gonna keep in mind the gap for sure~" She teased, tugging a little from one of her thighhighs. "I'm not gonna lie. This looks amazing on me, hun." Fiora headed over towards the vertical mirror, hands over her waistline as she posed on different angles. "I don't usually wear things with gaps for casual, but this one covers so much It actually works. Just gotta hope I can fix it if it tears." Yet the glass's reflection reminded her not only of herself, but what her lover was wearing, which in turn left her gnawing on her lower lips while she fawned over it.

"What do you think? Fits you, doesn't fit you..?" She inquired, watching over curiously to see how Ronja worked out her opinion on her own clothing.

Ronja mostly gave an apologetic smile at Renée, casting another glance at Fiora and letting out a sigh and shaking her head, frowning a bit. "Ronja thinks you didn't really get what she meant by gaps.." She crossed her arms, but didn't let it linger for long, soon preparing herself for their small exchange of clothes play-

As soon as Fiora finished her countdown, Ronja tapped her finger quickly on the User Interface, with her clothing glowing and being gone soon after being swapped by the new one, that felt somewhat tight on a few spots, albeit still comfortable, just like her usual combat suit. Her gaze turned to look at Fiora, with a small admiring giggle escaping her lips as she rested her hands on her own cheeks, humming as her eyes clicked twice and turned heart-shaped for a moment.

"You are so pretty, dear. When Ronja thinks her heart got used to it, you go and manage to make it skip again~" She squealed a bit, looking at Fiora after the small fan-girling, with her eyes clicking thrice and flashing a bit, hinting more photos had been taken. "And it looks very... Very well... For sure, there is a lot of skin covered by it, yes, yes..."

With one eye going down to the brief gap between the shorts and the thigh-highs, the so called 'zettai ryouiki', that Ronja shameless took another picture of, before focusing her eyes on Fiora's. 'The room for imagination is the true eroticism' She muttered in her own mind.

Clearing her throat, standing straight and posing a bit, taking a glance over her own body. "Ronja won't lie... This feels just right on her..." Ronja said, tilting her body a bit while turning her leg, allowing the 'catsuit' to shine and give some focus on her bottom features perfectly, highlighting her curves that swayed smoothly from her thighs all the way up to her arched back as she posed, with a hum slipping her lips.

"So this is what you like on Ronja?" She asked, raising an eyebrow with a smug smile, turning a bit, so she would have her back turned to Fiora, turning her face to side glance at her beloved from behind before turning to face her again.

"Or maybe this is just distracting Ronja from something else..?" She asked, tracing her hands right under her bossom, that was outlined with the white to black contrast, on top of the suit that served to give some support to the breasts, that became a bit perkier with it, and a teasing gaze lingering on her expressions as she locked on Fiora's eyes.
