I take it that the "negative consequences" of passing the Awareness check and learning the eye's name will come later with the other updates, but could we get a bit of info on just how much it might affect our characters on the whole?

Also, to add to stuff about Rael up above, MAI too would offer help with the egg, as well as offering her expertise of connecting to magia across the season (DEAD.Naught, stuff summoned by the Calculator, random sentry in Vintergard) in hopes of getting info from Szofrit even while she is asleep. I'd imagine all of that is for some other time, much later on, but I figured I'd mention it after seeing the previous question.

Lúthien would obviously be focusing on hatching Emm (Gold Egg) and helping wherever possible when it comes to issues related to Merri’s core and getting baby girl a new body.

Like @Rael she also has dream abilities, so if these can be put to use in any way towards either objective she’d do so willingly (or to boost Rael in her own endeavors). If they’re unaware of Calculator thread shenanigans she’d share a retelling of that along with info about Null, dissonant Calc and the Emm they met within the simulation.

She’d also share the very hastily made but somewhat functioning comm network she managed to keep up for a time in the story with MIT—since this could also help UI locked players to be in contact once more, and someone else there might be able to perfect her wild ass idea.

Also she’d prob work close to @Ronja Bubblyfoot ss well once she’s back in the game, providing any support she can since her friend is also working toward the magia bodies for the found cores.

As for the Eye’s name she’d share it if Rael also shared it, though aside from her closer friends she wouldn’t spread the info around (also gotta see what negative effect she getting and how it might impact stuff)

Oh, right, Mizuki's also going to be helping out with the Golden Egg. Might as well pick up magic items to use them to help charge the egg while she's busy obtaining materials for the MIT.

A few points to mention but here we go!

Rael is heavily invested into the results research on Szofrit may yield in regards to Dissonance and her previous Directive as told by Trinity, so if it is possible at all, she would like to be one of the volunteers to supply the Golden Egg with energy in exchange for clearance to witness some of the process.

As an elf, she possesses the ability to witness other people's dreams, something she would offer so as to gather more intelligence from the "personal" and intimate side of things while they research the outside.

Last, and not least, Rael would share both with the MIT and the Lion's the vague memories she glimpsed related to Ahylios, as well as the retelling connected to him of the group of AG adventurers that once found him and killed him. When resources are available, she is interested in pursuing the last echoes of his life and even performing a seance on the deceased adventurers to find out what happened to him, which all might be important clues.

Rael gains clearance in exchange for helping with the Golden Eggs. She'd probably see MIT, Lions, and Whistles working inside the MITHRA with various levels of clearance. It's the first time the MIT headquarters was so open to outsiders. It seems like Ordnung is welcoming the new change since more collaboration means more progress.

There were tests conducted to see if it was possible to access Szofrit's dreams or any of the people who were crushed into magia cores, but there's nothing there.

As for Ahylios, there's a new department within the MIT that is keeping track of the memories. Regarding the Adventurers who killed him, she was pulled into a meeting with Levi and Ordnung. Ordnung did not want to involve himself in the matter, since it seemed very political. Levi on the other hand thought about what to do, asking if Rael or any of her companions got a written confirmation of the identity of those responsible for Ahylios' murder.

The seance will take place later.

The consequence of learning the time eye's name won't affect the character too much. It most likely won't change your character's concept.

There isn't much that can be done at the moment. MAI would have seen the MIT testing to see if they can glean information from Szofrit or the magia cores via dream, but failed.

She is invited to become a test subject to learn about the passive magic absorption that all magia and magitech seems to share as there was a thought about what to do about the corrosive nature of technology that may have huge implication for agriculture and nature alike.

Luthien is invited to a closed door meeting with Accelerator, Ordnung, and a few other researchers who took notes of Null and the Calculator. There was the concern that those magia are an enemy, but there's nothing that can be done about them for the time being since they could be anywhere.

A team is assigned to Luthien to take to where the simulation with Null and the Calculator took place where a research camp was set-up and an investigation to look into it begins.

The dream communication is looked into as an alternative form of communication, but it would require cooperating elves.

Luth can tell the MIT about the time eye, but they are waiting to see if anything is going to happen to those who looked into the eye first before choosing to make the info public. They also have a test group who learn of the name to see if hearing the name will give them any negative effect.

If she's not a part of the AG, they might get in her way since there is a lot of them out to make big money from collecting these items for the MIT. Adventurers want to get paid.

What is the current situation with the Yladian diaspora that settled in Astorean territory? Are they also migrating, or are they remaining within their current enclaves? Does Falderen's new approach as the "lander kingdom" affect the relationship between the two?

There were a number of Yladians who participated in the Vintergard battle. Yladians universally support the decision to spare Szofrit as they see value in learning about incoming threats through her.

Speaking of, despite there being a number of Yladians who dislike Astorea housing such a monster in their capital, none have migrated over this. Yladians do not get along with Falderen and, as such, remains a dependable ally to Astorea and a strong opposition to Falderen.

Astor gave Yladia the sovereignty to do as they please with their territory and they've been thriving of late despite their small population. Currently, there is a healthy number of Yladians who are actively helping the three Astorean factions.

Toko would definitely be helping in any and all related efforts towards making VIntergard save and scavenging for useful items for MIT to use and whatnot, probably also helping her friends like @Hanno Futaba, @Ash Vargold and @Harper if there's anything in particular they're doing that might require assistance.

Though she's AG she's not really doing it for the coins, so she'd be pretty likely to deliver pretty much anything she finds since she just wants to help however she can.

She's pretty much made a home in Honeyhome so, provided the Landers there don't scorn or kick her out, she'd still continue to frequent it often too and helping the villagers around with stuff they might need but are usually too mundane or pay too little coin for most AG members to be interested in.

Considering the changes that came with the conclusion of the event and Directive: Distract, what would be of Tick Tock should she step into Finweald?

@Veilwalker
Chrys (and I guess, @Kamala Graham since @Ayna Nietzsche's on her solo emo run or whatever?) will immediately report to Cessia and the AG once he logs back in game, if only to get paid for his services. Might even tell them about the massive hand thing and about his one-on-one experience with Hard Plume (brief match-up but he'll probably keep telling everyone about that for the next few weeks...months).

Considering how he "volunteered" himself to "save the others" with that hand, he will probably ask Cessia if she could "pull some strings" and get him "additional rewards" (like more coin or a useless title of nobility in a now mostly commercially useless kingdom) from the king. Might not be the most appropriate of times, but Chrys can wait.

While waiting, if he is even made to wait for that "juicy and well-deserved reward from the king who definitely saw him make the noblest of sacrifices with the massive hand thing," Chrys will most likely join the Security Contractors effort of AG, where he gets paid to "help" secure Vintergard. During that time, would it be possible to, say, procure for himself some sweet real estate? Like a cheap building he could use for future business ventures?

Seigi would try to rejoin the Lions as Co.-Leader again, seeing how she tried making contact with Levi. Also pushing to be more independent of the ruling class and standing true to their core values.

She'd also push more into interacting with Tertoria/The D.E.S. Astorean Branch.
She'd also use her wealth to start an anti-anti-lander and Magia campaign to try and push how they're being recognized into a more positive light. She probably has a positive rep all around some folks anyway as a do-gooder.

Kamala will be helping with the AG's efforts to secure Vintergard as well (as @Chrys already mentioned), though she'd be more interested in helping with the Yladians in Astorea if that's possible?

Since her presence in Pormont might be a bit disruptive now, considering the lander refugees from Astorea to Falderen and the overall distrust of landers toward Travelers, she may have to leave her farm to her lander friends and move to Astorea, where she would start another effort to help feed those who stayed.

The Honeyhome folks are pretty friendly to Travelers/Starcalled since they are around the newbies all the time. They are a bit apprehensive when it comes to higher-ranked Travelers, but continue to be good hosts to people like Toko, who come back to the town and help them out from time to time.

She's not getting kicked out.

The people who would have raised their pitchforks and torches are long gone, but among those who are left are the people who were directly affected by the rampage. They watched helplessly as their father, mother, or siblings were incinerated in the fire or crushed by the collapsing building during the bombardment. They may understand the situation, but they are forever haunted by those memories. As such, there are a fair number of people who will refuse to interact with or service to Tick Tock. Everyone else meanwhile display a range of discomfort from mild to PTSD.

A bit of a follow up to Tick Tock's question, considering that MAI's directive was about possessing magia (presumably players since I never heard of Lander magia outside of Vintergard), would any of those possibly hold resentment or even try to hunt down MAI to 'get even'?
