It was that special third of the day that he got all to himself. In the real world, his daughter was taking a nap, and his wife was out with friends. With nothing better to do and no flights scheduled that particular day, this left the man known as Anzai Yokoi with quite a bit of time on his hands. So, he decided to pop into Terrasphere, a game he'd only recently been getting into- the only game he'd ever played without his teenage nephew part of his party.

There, he became a youngster himself, just ten years older than his daughter. He became Kakao.

There was still a lot for him to learn about the world of Terrasphere. Ever the curious soul, that was what made the game fun for him. He was in a small town, Honeyhome. Here, he'd surely learn quite a bit about the world around him right now. Here, he'd surely manage to find some new friends.

He was in the area looking for a general store. He had a shopping list in his mind, and still had currency in his pockets from fighting some bandits his first day. "This town sure is peaceful," he said aloud to no one in particular. It almost felt like it was where he really should have spawned in the first place. But what happened, happened. Kakao wasn't the type to hold a grudge against a game for faulty logic.

Bored of walking on his own, he began to look around for a stranger to talk to. His eyes caught sight of someone with curious features. He'd surely found his target of interest for the day. Running up to an interesting woman- a Beastfolk with deer-like properties- the young man beamed with delight and greeted her.

"Hello, Miss! Your ears are super cute! Are they deer ears? I just saw a Sika last night on my way home... And now I get to see you! I must be pretty lucky."

Slowly, Lily had grown more comfortable with traveling alone, but stuck with caravans when she could. She'd made it to Honeyhome with the latter, now idly sitting around the town square with a local treat in her hand. She was just about to bite into it when a boy approached her, somewhere in his teens. She smiled brightly at him, pearly white teeth clean and shiny and her smile obviously practiced, but still genuine.

"Hey there! Yea! I guess you are pretty lucky, huh? What's your name? You have a guardian around or are you just playin' by yourself?" She wasn't sure how to approach a younger kid in game, so she just went with how she might talk to them outside of the game. Come to think of it, she did remember a slider for age when she was making her character, so she supposed this could be an adult in a child's form. But that would be...unique. Probably uncommon, to say the least.

But who was she to judge? Fuck it, so long as they weren't hurting anyone, right? That was mostly her policy for life, in general.
