Aaron laughed at the two beastfolks' responses to the Lion Arms.

Fair enough. I'll be fine however the waves go. Adventure or stillness, there's something to appreciate in both.

He smiled at the two new adventurers.

Those crafting materials are yours, fair and square. You're the ones who did all the work, after all. Besides, I'm a bit past animal pelts and claws for my weapons and armor, and I'm not really an accessory for accessory's sake kind of guy. If the two of you would like, I can escort you back to town, but otherwise, I think this is where we part ways. Congratulations on becoming full-fledged adventurers. Blowing up wolves and bears is the honorary rite all adventurers must pass, though most don't do so in such a literal since. All that's left to say is to watch out for flying alligators. Those fuckers are vicious. Real nasty.

Yaxhin's flexing evokes a laugh out of Rakka.

"You certainly do! A lion-armed Lion's Arm, huh..."

Still grinning, the leporine beastfolk steps over to help Yaxhin. She pauses to extend her smile to the quirky paladin, bowing her head.

"Yeah, I suppose you're right. Just don't seek out too much trouble, be a shame if you died. You're a good sort at the end of the day. I - I'd appreciate an escort back, just to be on the safe side, but I certainly won't make you stay."

Her eyes widen and her ears flick up and back as she nervously checks the skies for flying alligators.

"Flying - do, do they live in this area? D-Do wolves or bears ever fly?"

She swallows hard and checks that her hammer is within easy reach.

"Thanks for the help, Rakka, this'll be much easier with both of us."

Yaxhin stands, the loot divided between the two of them, and looks to Aaron, smiling tiredly. This has been such an adventure, and a great introduction.

"Thank you, for your guidance, Aaron. This was so helpful, it was a great introduction."

They wander over to the wolf, sitting to pet him once he's finished eating, and quietly explain that they're going back to a village, with lots of people, but he'll be plenty safe. There'll be a warm place to sleep and more food, as well. He should stay with the lion-person, and they'll both be safer for it.

At the mention of flying alligators, they blink, and look up in shock, bewildered eyes fixing on Aaron in search of answers.

"I know this is fantasy but... who thought it was a good idea to give alligators wings? I think I'd like that escort back, too..."

They stand then, patting their leg as if the wolf knows to heel. The wolf follows closely enough.

Oh by the way, you don't have to carry all those crafting materials in your arms. You can just put them into your inventory. Just pull it up from your UI and toss them in there. Makes carrying stuff a whole lot easier. It stops working if you die three times, though.

He laughed gently at the beastwoman's nervous words.

I've not heard of flying wolves or bears, so I doubt they exist. As for flying alligators, they don't live around here to my knowledge. It's more a general advice type thing. But, nonetheless, I shall escort the two of you back to town.

With that, their adventure had come to a close. Wolves were slain, one of them tamed, and a bear was taught the meaning of the phrase "high explosive ordnance." Not that the knowledge would do the bear much good now. The trip back to town was uneventful, their path of death being easily followed back the way they came.
