She'd been doing so well with her practicing of her skills. Not using the assist setting to cast spells and stuff was important to her. Not because she was some pro gamer or anything but because she wanted to stop being a noob and feel competent at something. She wanted to grow into a proper mage or witch, maybe even find a real mentor to study under. Was it possible to make up new spells if she learned the magic language like in some other roleplaying games? She hoped so.
To that effort, she was walking to her next destination of The Drowned Gryphon, her favorite Inn in Stokbon, while practicing her somatic components to some of her spells. She was drilling one in particular that was a lightning bolt she particularly favored in a combo chain. A great finisher and opener both.
Unfortunately, she zoned out and went all the way with it one time as she walked, panicking as she watched it strike right in front of an oncoming passerby, nearly hitting them had they been forward one step. She panicked, flushing beet red as she realized her embarrassing mistake,
"I'm so sorry! Oh my gosh! Are you okay? Please forgive me!"
