Sleep hadn't come easy to the elf after that nightmare of a dream that she had glimpsed from the Commander, an exasperated sigh having left Lúthien's lips when she allowed herself to fall backwards and onto the bed once more. "If only I could bleach my brain out..." Another groan left the ranger before she finally turned onto her side, forcing her eyes shut while quietly humming a tune to herself... with some luck she'd manage to fall asleep once more and get at least a couple more hours of sleep before the sun began creeping over the horizon.

Eventually, although with extreme difficulty, the elf managed to fall back into a light slumber. Unconsciously her mind dipped into the realm of dreams once more, softly drifting without aim this time around until an unknown voice caught her attention. "Ari!" A name she was very familiar with, one Lúthien hadn't expected to hear inside the game, and before the elf knew it she had already drifted towards the particular dream.

She never made it to that particular dream however, the elf suddenly finding herself yanked right into a nearby dream bubble as she passed by it. "Nnnngh...?" A groan left the blonde as she was unceremoniously dumped into the dream of another, rubbing the side of her head before Lúthien's eyes began scanning the surroundings.

Luthien finds herself sitting on a cloud in what could only be described as the most stereotypically corny girly world imaginable. Unicorns, rainbows, and hearts blew through the air like bubbles in a carbonated soda of pink. All the while, a poorly written song was being sung in a voice the elf may recognize. Although it was softer and had a near lullaby-like quality to it

Suddenly the cloud beneath Luthien would dissipate possibly leaving her falling on her bum. The pink faded away as the opening song from some unseen speakers came to an end. Now there was green... a lot of it, for miles across. A blue sky dotted with a few clouds and a fully visible rainbow arching over the land. A castle that could have come from My Little Pony could be seen far down a perfectly smooth road. A pony, a kitty, and a doggo all chased each other's tails playfully nearby and the sun literally beamed down at you with a wide smile that might as well have been drawn in with crayon. Oh, not to mention the random giant multi-color mecha just standing near a distant mountain holding up a massive candy cane-colored sushi roll.

A finger gently tapped on Luthien's shoulder.

"Oh hello! Are you lost?"

Wendel Anne Qrin stared up at the elf lady that had suddenly appeared.

If Luthien recognized the girl from the tent earlier. She may also take notice of how she seemed to be even shorter than before. The Conqueror had done it again and ended up in Magi's head. This was nothing like before though. It was like a whole world in here and far more... solid? The pinkette definitely had a strong imagination. Strange to see how in this dream she remembered exactly how she looked in middle school.

Wendel backed up and offered a meek smile as a butterfly fluttered past. Then she raised a finger and waved it in a slightly scolding way.

"Wowzers! I think I remember you. Did you visit me before? You sure like to explore huh *chuckle*? Hey, you want to go on an adventure with me? This is Magitopia and I'm on a quest to save the world. I need to assemble a team of magical girl allies and you are... a little tall, but it's okay! Mahou Shoujo's always have at least one tall older lady! Come on it'll be fun!"

She offered Luthien her hand.

The one and only, Magi Heart! ​

Music was the first element of this space that Lúthien noticed, causing the elf to perk up slightly as she strained her ears to catch the little lullaby-esque tune... the voice felt familiar, though the blonde couldn't seem to place who it belonged to at first.

"What the—hnnng!"

As the cloud the elf had currently been sitting on suddenly disappeared she couldn't help but let our a startled cry, with the support her arm had been using to prop Lúthien up now gone she had begun tumbling backwards, before her bum was the first to land on a solid field of green below. The once colorful vision of pinks and other pastel colors that had covered the space had given way to a blue sky dotted with a few clouds, Lúthien's eyebrows arching high in surprise and wonder as the elf took in the sight of a castle, its style heavily reminding her of My Little Pony, and the three animals seemingly chasing one another's tails not too far from where she sat.

Whose dream plane had she just crash landed into this time...?

"Oh hello! Are you lost?"
"Y-Yeah, guess I am——?!"

A voice had gently drifted into her ear just as a small finger tapped the ranger's shoulder, an automatic answer tumbling from her lips before suddenly pausing as Lúthien's eyes caught sight of her little companion. Magi...?! Lúthien's shoulders stiffened as the realization dawned on her mind, instantly reminded of the less than ideal encounters she'd first had with the human throughout the day, before her muscles slowly relaxed once more upon noticing the appearance of the human this time around.

She looking young, child-like, and unlike before the pinkette didn't seem to radiate an aura about her that clearly screamed for others to stay the fuck away from her space. Another glance was given to the world around them, the sun that beamed at them (literally, the celestial body has a crayon drawn smile on its face) feeling unlike anything the Magi Heart that Lúthien had met so far would imagine... although she wasn't sure what to make of the giant multi-colored mecha besides a distant mountain as it held a massive candy cane colored sushi roll.

"Ahahahaaah..." A nervous chuckle escaped Lúthien as her newly discovered companion seemed to recognize her too, a hand raised to rub the back of her neck slightly. "S-Sorry about that, swear I didn't mean to crashland in here uninvited."

"Hey, you want to go on an adventure with me? This is Magitopia and I'm on a quest to save the world."

She'd be a liar if the elf said her curiosity wasn't immediately triggered by the offer this young Magi Heart extended in Lúthien's direction, any sense of apprehension that the ranger might've harbored momentarily forgotten as she nodded in the pinkette's direction before shaking the offered hand.

"Alright, yeah, that does sound like fun~"

"Kewl beans! Hmmm, you know, you look a little nervous hehe. Don't be! You joined my anime hero team of kewl magical girls. Now we are friends!"

Wendel took a step back, then another, until she turned with a small skip and headed down the path towards the castle. She started to walk in more of a march as she went along. Possibly because Luthien was now dragged by the dream, but the elf would not be able to leave the road even if she tried.

This was Wendel's dream and the dreams "setting" followed her position

"Don't get left behind slowpoke! We have a world to save and more allies to meet! I sure hope you like making new friends, because we are going to be friend magnets *chuckle*!"

The short pinkette, maybe only 12-13 and barely 4'5" would look back at Luthien and gesture around a little with her hand at the surroundings.

"See all this? It's really childish, isn't it? And the robot is pretty nerdy but I can't help it. My friends like anime a whole bunch too. I like Mahou Shoujo the most. What sort of shows do you like ... um? Wait what IS your name? Elferion! Nope, that's weird. Elfinor, Elfimitsu, Elfera... Elf-chan!"

She chuckled again and turned back to face Luthien entirely. She continued to head down the path with casual ease while walking backward.

"Oh yeah! I almost forgot. We can't get far on our journey unless we use our special transformations! Do you want to see mine Elf-chan?!"

"You're right, I shouldn't be nervous of my friends."

Perhaps her initial reservations had been for naught. Wendel (as the party invite had ID'ed the girl) seemed like quite the sweet and innocent pre-teen girl, and so far there wasn't anything in the girl's dream that had felt oppressive or overwhelming. As the little girl began stepping backwards the elf took the opportunity to get back onto her feet, dusting off a few blades of grass that had stuck to her shorts before her steps began carrying Lúthien down the very road that Wendel currently marched on.

"I won't, I promise~ After all I wouldn't be a good magical girl allie to you if I made you wait for me, right Wendel?"

She couldn't help but raise a questioning eyebrow when the pinkette mentioned they were about to become friend magnets, but then Wendel was pointing at their surroundings as the pinkette continued their conversation. A part of the elf couldn't help but chuckle ever so slightly, she found the girl to be quite adorable, as she relaxed further into this new dream experience.

"I'm Lúthien, and its very nice to meet you Wendel." There was a pause as the little Mahou Shoujo asked the blonde what shows she was in, an index finger tapping her lips as Lúthien mulled over the question while following Wendel down the path. "Mmm, let's see... I do enjoy the fantasy ones like Kimetsu no Yaiba and Jujutsu Kaisen, and of course there's the classic Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon."

At the mention of special transformations the elf couldn't help but blink rapidly a few times, realizing that she wasn't even sure how to even trigger a transformation... much less how it would look. When the pinkette offered to showcase her own first the elf clapped her hands together, a delighted smile on her face as she looked at the girl.

"Please, Wendel, I would love to see yours very much~"

The pinkette stopped her backward movement and clenched her hands as she shook her arms in excitement. She jumped up and down in place and grinned happily. In the distance, the pony, kitty, and doggo were rolling on the ground now playing with each other's caught tails.

"Squeal* You really do? You don't think magical girls are dumb? Okies, I will show you, but remember you can't tell anyone my secret identity! If anyone knows my true name I'd get in big trouble cause the evil people from the west will come for me. You can keep it a secret right? I trust you El... Luthien-san! Hehe I'm so silly. You are older than me so san or senpai is better than chan yep! Hmmm, or would you be more of a big sister?"

Taking much longer to think on that than Luthien's energy drain would like. Wendel finally would strike a pose and wave her arms in order to transform.

...

*Crickets*

...

"...Ummm. Huh, I guess I can't transform right now. That does it! Now we REALLY have to get to the castle of love and save the world! If I can get the bow of salvation we get a happy ending! You too!"

Making a determined face, Wendel nodded to the elf. Her pink hair flapping on the sides of her head.

"You should transform if you can but it's okay we don't have much time! Come on miss, let's hurry! Wanna race to the bridge ahead? That would be fun and proactive! It's bad to run in the halls but this is Magitopia so it's a-ok!"

She pointed to a bridge halfway between where they were standing and the castle. Then she broke into a run towards it. As the sudden race started the crayon-etched sun just continued to hover high in the sky, beaming down on the mecha and its great cherry-colored sushi roll.

She had to admit that Wendel's imagination was quite impressive, the younger girl's gestures an absolute delight as they showed how much the pinkette seemed to love the world of Mahou Shoujo. "Promise, I'll never let anyone know your secret identity~" She made a hand motion to pretend her fingers were zipping up her lips, before a smile was given as Wendel asked how Lúthien would prefer to be addressed as.

"I'd love to be a big sister to a cutie like you, Wendel... actually, how would you like me to call you?"

There was a pause as Wendel got ready for her ultra secret amazing Mahou Shoujo transformation, performing a few moves with her arms before the pinkette stroke a pose...

... ... ...

*crickets*

Lúthien wasn't sure what exactly had gone wrong, but Wendel certainly didn't allow it to deter her spirits. Instead the young girl was quickly switching gears, mentioning how the REALLY needed to get a move on towards the castle now in order to thwart evil and get the happy ending they both deserved!

"Y-Yeah, I'll race you over to the bridge! After all we have to make haste and reach the castle quickly, right?"

She tripped on her words for a second when Wendel mentioned Lúthien could try to transform, the blonde a bit unsure how to go about doing that—especially since Wendel's own had failed. The elf quickly made up for it however, accepting the little race challenge from the girl before she watched Wendel shoot off without warning. A laugh erupted from the elf before she gave chase, allowing herself a chance to enjoy this dream world created by Wendel as the worries related to Camp Hope IV were placed on the backburner for the time being.

As Luthien followed Wendel through the Magitopia dreamscape, it looked as if Wendel was getting farther and farther ahead of her. Once Luthien had reached the bridge, Wendel was almost across already. Thankfully she had stopped for some reason. The pinkette was now distracted by something very new in this excessively saccharine setting.

On a simple wooden park bench sat the silhouette of a female figure, maybe around the same size as Luthien herself. In this world, everything changes size and distance in an irregular way so one could not be sure. This is more noticeable the longer the elf would be here.

The silhouette would lower what might be a book, newspaper... or laptop? it was hard to tell as the object melted into the shape. The two seemed to talk but even if the words were heard they would be muffled murmurs. Finally, the silhouette would stand and drop a small object into Wendel's outstretched hand before giving a head pat and disappearing.

"Wowzers! Oneesan! Look at what I got!"

Whoops!

Luthien would suddenly find something strange going on around her feet. Her feet would feel like they were bumping into something. It made it difficult to continue to run as invisible clutter of some kind was constantly getting in the way.

Wendel didn't leave Luthien behind though. Now she was just standing there, holding what she had been given tightly as she waited.

What the...?

Logic and reason dictated that the elf should've been able to, at the very least, keep up with the smaller Wendel as they raced towards the bridge. However that was not the case, and Lúthien couldn't help but frown in mild confusion as the blonde got a first hand introductory lesson into Dreams: Physics & Shenanigans 101 in the land of M̵̨̄͑͝agitopį̸͋ą̸̺̈́. Try as she might the ranger was barely able to keep up with the pinkette, never mind even considering the possibility of closing the distance between them.

Finally she had reached the bridge, a hand placed on the railing as Lúthien took a moment to catch her breath (was this normal in dreams?) before her eyes caught sight of Wendel and a new figure. The young Mahou Shoujo had already crossed the bridge, now standing before the sitting silhouette on a nearby bench. Her eyes squinted as the elf strained to get a better glimpse from where she was, unable to make out any details of even words despite her acute senses.

"Wowzers! Oneesan! Look at what I got!"
"O-Oh? Did you get something cool?"

A step was taken towards the bridge, the elf intending to cross it and meet up with the pinkette on the other side, before she felt something brush against her boots. Initial instinct was to step back, her eyes quickly looking at the ground before blinking in surprise at finding nothing there... and yet whenever the blonde attempted to step towards the bridge she could feel her foot bump against some form of invisible clutter regardless of what direction Lúthien attempted.

She frowned in response, before her gaze shifted back to the small pinkette still patiently waiting on the other side of the pink bridge. Perhaps if she simply rushed through it that would be enough to kick away whatever obstacles or debris were attempting to get in her way? It was worth a shot, and Wendel had stressed earlier how very pressed for time the pair currently was...

"I'll be right there, Del-chan!"

One deep breath was taken before the elf suddenly rushed forth, and even though she was unable to see the obstacles before her Lúthien seemed to do a spectacular job in dodging and weaving through them... at least at first. Her feet quickly adjusted depending on the pressure or pull that suddenly pressed against them as she moved, but unfortunately lacking actual sight of the objects would prove to be detrimental as the blonde felt herself step on something small and round. With how fast she was going it was no surprise that the ranger quickly lost her balance, feeling her center of gravity shifting as she began falling backwards...

... fuck!

A cameo was a cameo.

If a figment of Magi's imagination gave birth to the heroic spirit of a certain individual, shaping her in ways and forms that were long forgotten, one had to wonder. If, later down the narrative, the real owner of the puppet that danced to Wendel's whim was to remember none of that. Were they really ever there?

Was this even... legal!? Questions that would go unanswered, as @Luthien could feel her weight caught not by the mysterious bridge below her, but by the warm embrace of a girl that was nearly as petite as Magi.

Having the larger elf in a princess carry, the orange-brunette-haired girl gave Luthien a bright smile. "Worry not, for Seigi's here to participate in this spiel! The rules of a Hero, number four: Be always fashionable late!" With one quick dash, the girl covered the distance between @Magi Heart and herself. Gracefully putting Luthien on her own two feet again.

"Are you okay?" She asked worriedly. "To cross magical quantum bridges of potential villainous villainy, you just have to BELIEVE!" Giving Luthien a nod before smiling at Magi. "Just how we believe in each other!"

There was a chance Luthien had seen this girl before. Although slightly different. Where the original had bandaged arms, covering up skin that was black as void and absorbed the light itself, Seigi's dream version had normal people's arms! The bit of discolored hair and eye were normal too. As bright as the rest of her face. And, of course, she was a lot smaller. Obviously, a younger version.

For now, she wasn't transformed... yet?

"I am Seigi Ling Ling!" Though Magi usually called her- "Raina Raythean! Heroic Hero of Justice and protector of all that is good in this world. Including the right to sleep in in the mornings."

"WOOOOOOOWZEEEERRRRRRSSSSS!!!!! It's the Legendary Hero of Guts and Effort and ummm... Punching Sages!"

Wendel ran up and grabbed Segi, yanking her away from Luthien with surprising strength. Then made circles around the hero making boom pow noises as she swung her fists in what probably was an attempt to mimic Seigi.

"Yes! Now our team is even kewler! Ohhhh right! Oneesan look what I have♥!"

The girl's waved the small object in Luthien's face with a bright smile.

It was just a USB.

She pulled her hand back and put the USB flat against the tip of her nose. Crossing her eyes to keep looking at it before lowering it and making a conflicted look. Her eyes shifted and her mood changed from bright to nervous for the first time.

"With this, I can transform now. I had forgotten it eheheh... That lady was so nice when I found it in lost and found and offered it to her. She gave it back saying I earned it. I don't remember exactly how it happened but... yeah. Pretty neat right?"

Wendel then took the USB drive and pushed it into her hand, as if there was some unseen port. It sank into her skin easily as she made another determined look and stepped back from Luthien and Dream Seigi.

"Okies... here I go. We are gonna beat up some meanies and get the Bow of Salvation! With Raina-chan and oneesan we can't lose!"

The world blinked...

Magi Heart put her hand to her hip and saluted before beaming at Luthien.

"Surprised? I told you I was a Mahou Shoujo, see! I wouldn't have ever been able to without that special item. I am so lucky! I can just be whatever I want! Hmmm, I don't have a weapon but the power of my heart doesn't need one for this adventure!"

The frilly pinkette spins around a few times to show off before chuckling and grasping Dream Seigi's hand. Her smile faded again as she raised her brows.

"You know... I was so scared to try this out back then. People picked on me for being childish but I also heard it might be dangerous. People really liked it too much she said, it was different. But... I wanted to try too... It was really Raina-chan that inspired me to do it anyway! Now we both became heroes! It was the right decision! ...Just like how we have decided to save the world now! With great power comes great responsibility!"

By the time she had finished, Magi Heart was already heading onwards to the castle.

If Luthien still continued to follow, she would see several very small rips in mid-air. She would not be able to touch or interact with them but it was like a coloring book page being poked through with a pencil. The only thing behind the tears, if she chose to squint and see, would be fog.

Surely the elf's brain was growing tired...

She had braced herself for the fall, expecting her back to hit the hard surface of the bridge, but that sensation never arrived. Instead the elf felt a pair of arms reach out for her, easily sweeping her into a warm embrace, before the petite figure princess carried Lúthien without issue to the other side of the bridge.

"T-Thanks for the assist," A nod of thanks was given in the direction of her rescuer as the elf was gently set back onto her own two feet, her eyes staying on the human longer than normal. "You're a real lifesaver."

Lúthien had a vague memory of her, or at least the older looking version of Seigi that had rushed into the bloodbath tents when their scrying had gone wrong. The elf hadn't been able to clearly see her then as Seigi had rushed over to a very injured Magi, but they had seemed close from what the blonde remembered once they'd been moved to the resting quarters to recover.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Seigi." For a moment she had wondered which of the two names to use, before deciding to go with the one the girl had offered the most. "I'm Lúthien."

There was a faint look of amusement as Lúthien watched Wendel run up to Seigi then, the girl grabbing Seigi and pulling her closer to herself and away from the elf. Awww, that's kinda cute~ She watched as Wendel went in circles around Seigi, swinging her fists as if they were punches as she made battle noises.

"Mmm, whatcha got there Del-chan?" She paused to look over at the item that Wendel held for Lúthien to see. "Is that an USB stick...?"

Interesting, not something the Lúthien expected to see, though she nodded encouragingly as Wendel asked if it was a neat thing to have... before the blonde's eyebrows rose in surprise as the girl seemed to just insert the USB into her hand through some magical port that the blonde hadn't even been aware existed. A transformation soon took place, and as Magi saluted in her direction the ranger couldn't help but clap softly in appreciation.

"I'm very surprised indeed, that's an amazing transformation Wendel."

For a moment the elf was silent as the pinkette spoke, unsure if Magi had been nervous about having a Mahou Shoujo transformation of her own... or if maybe the girl was referring to something else, like the actual game they were all currently playing. She didn't really know much of Wendel/Magi, and the same went for Raina/Seigi, but when the girl turned towards the castle the blonde's intent had been to follow.

Instead her attention was drawn as something shifted in the corner of her eyes, small rips beginning to poke through the bright and cheerfully childlike wonder of a world they were currently in. The tears would continue to appear, increasing in volume, and when the elf tried to squint and look past the darkness she could only see fog. Before Lúthien knew it her consciousness had slipped right out of the dream bubble that had been Magi's dream, back into the original plane where all dreams seemed to float and converge in.

She felt exhausted, aware that she needed to get at least some form of rest tonight, before a voice reached Lúthien's ears once more. "Ari!" It was enough to gather her attention, the elf drawn to the dream like a moth was to a flame...
