The Hylands were a dangerous set of places. Even were it not for the deadly climb, even the base of the mountainsides had dangers lurking within them. One such place could be found near the home of the Sun Valley, just on the edge of the Ascent towards Hyland proper. A cave stood tall and ruined, a hundred and a half signs that warned 'DANGER!' littered across the gaping maw that led into the caverns.

Heedless of such warnings, God Breaker stood tall and proud inside of this dangerous cave. She had been five minutes ago, anyway-recently, she had noted that a series of Corpse Wurms had attached to her in an ambush.

...Unfortunately, they didn't do as well burrowing into an arm made of solid steel. She had electrified her plating to rid herself of the nuisances, afterwards adding the wurms to the pile of dead bugs that she had made since coming here. According to her HUD, she had destroyed about 95% of the dangerous life inside of the cave. Goblins, wurms and cave diggers alike were in a pile in the previous room. The 'DANGER! Mines' were all but dangerous now that she had arrived.

God Breaker brushed the last of the dead Wurms off of her arm. This was one less place for people to worry about parasites now, if her HUD informing her that only Earth Elementals remained was any indicator to go by. Now that she had much less to worry about, she went back to doing what she had been doing beforehand.

"Huhu... It seems that nothing could withstand my POWER..."

She was practicing cool poses.

God Breaker had needed somewhere to do so, after all. It was embarrassing to make practice poses in a place where somebody else could see her screw up. She had to make absolutely sure that she would look cool while monologuing when it counted.
She was confident that nobody but a kindred soul would bother her here. After all, the entrance had like a hundred warning signs of danger on the front! A person would have to be incredibly cool or literally blind to walk into this cave anyway! Like that was ever going to happen!

A Cave.
A Castle.
An Airship.
Or even a Flying Whale!

Be it on land, in the air, or just on the ground. Hek even underwater, every aspiring villain and future Final Boss needed a Final Lair. And while this cave was most certainly not going to put the Final in Final Lair or into Final Omega Redux-, it would nonetheless make for a good pit-stop! A pit-stop to a bigger and better place, of course. So that one day, she'd have her Space Station in Space.

It was central, yet far enough away for nobody to bother unless they specifically were seeking it out AND it was already full of booby traps and monsters. Traps and monsters Omega didn't even need to pay for being there! She truly was evil, using the locals and not even paying them.

That was, of course, if it actually would be the case. "Grmlgrml..." As Omega walked through the half-cleared Villain Lair, she couldn't believe what she was seeing! Or the lack thereof. Corpses, instead of living. Triggered and destroyed traps, instead of primed!

Someone dared to had entered HER future lair JUST hours, maybe minutes even before she was here! Just what were the chances!? These speedrunning maniacs seemed to not only ruin her RNG, but also employed strats to delay her glorious ascension, too!

"Grmlgrml..." Nonetheless, the corpses were fresh. The traps still smoking. Maybe she'd meet a self-proclaimed hero. Maybe a party. Whatever the case, they could certainly keep running but rather sooner than later, Omega would find them! And then... well, they'd see!

"Nobody messes with Omega Redux... grmlgrml..."

Walking further inside the cave, brushing aside all kinds of DANGER and WARNING signs, Omega soon came upon her culprit. "...!" It was one of the very few times, she found herself speechless.

That silky, smooth, hair. Befitting those standing in long cutscenes as it defied wind and gravity.
The yellow, heroic, gaze. Full of determination and conviction to destroy all evil.
The super-unique clothing. Ascending simple anime-protagonism onto a level not many were able to reach.
Her mechanical arm. Magia supremacy.

And, of course, the weapon she was posing with. Befitting that of a...

"Hero..." Omega murmured silently. She could feel her heart skip a beat. If Mia hadn't decided to become the Final Boss, then maybe this would be her right now! Perfection.

It seemed that any noise at all was enough to snatch her attention. The cool sword began to retract at the sudden noise in the cave. Lashing it backwards onto her arm, Omega can see as the 'sword' she beheld transformed into the shape of a more metallic arm, looking almost like a gauntlet or a blocky robot hand. Her gaze whipped around the cave, the moment of panic enough to keep her from seeing the really obvious head of red and cream that was peeking around the corner.

"...Hmmf! Who dares intrude on God Breaker?! Show yourself, shadowlurker!"
Her metallic voice cried out into the darkness (and over the comparatively bright Magia that she was failing to see). Her palm was held in a firm grip at the base of her blocky gauntlet's elbow, as if it were a sword to be struck out with. To be fair, it had just been a sword to strike out with.

She was expecting one of the 5% of the remaining monsters to show up... Though she was pretty sure that calling them 'shadowlurker' had been as cool as she'd thought it was going to be in her head. God Breaker felt bad that she had wasted such a good line on what was probably a trash mob.

Omega got caught. Not like she had made that huge of an effort not to get noticed in the first place. Regardless, the red-haired girl gulped for a moment as she was awestruck once more as the Sword retracted back onto the Magia's arm! Gosh, that gal truly was Magia!

Nonetheless, Omega Redux wouldn't let herself be outdone just by looks alone! She, too, was rocking a particular style. That would be so much more obvious once she had leveled her masteries some. For now, however, she had to do something different...

...

"Who dares to intrude on God Breaker, you say!?" A voice from the shadow spoke, as the small Magia stepped forth from behind the shadows. Chin held high, her chest puffed out, arms positioned to her side, and aeromancy to make her gravity-defying hair blow stylish in the wind.

"It is I!" She declared, her name not yet to be spoken, before deciding that the one in front of her was deserving of all stops being pulled out. Yet, there was one particular problem left. If...

If...

If only she had practiced something beforehand!!!!!!
Aaaaaahhh. Gosh, for now. She'd do that every good villain did! Steal from somewhere else and change it to your own needs.

"To rid this world of infestation.
To show you true Final Boss attestation!

To break apart the clouds above!
To find what lies beneath truth and love!

Omega Redux!
Resonating with eternal STYLING!
Run away now, or die TRYING!

Magia! That's right~!"

Despite her wonky impromptu lines, Omega was steeming FULL OF CONFIDENCE and gusto. Though it would maybe turn into lines that nobody, but God Breaker Master X, would ever hear again. Regardless, on the inside, Omega had likely never felt so much panik before as right now. A person had only one chance to introduce themselves! And for this seemingly awesome Magia, she couldn't mess up!

"Omega Redux is Omega Redux!" Giving God Breaker a look of disapproval like a home-owner catching a burglar. "And it is YOU who is intruding on Omega's temporary future Final Boss Lair!"

God Breaker had been shocked long enough for this person to show themselves and begin their speech (which was strangely delayed by a good five seconds, as if they were thinking of it on the fly...), as she had genuinely expected for a monster to show up. She then waited for the person to finish her speech, as it was rude to interrupt someone, especially during a speech. She used this time to calm down.

An unexpected disconnection of understanding happened between the two. Even when translated, someone from Japan would not have heard the same kind of motto that someone in America would have-Localization did that to a series. She had just no idea that the girl was pulling from Pokémon, and assumed that this intrepid girl was pulling her introduction from somewhere else in her heart.

At first it sounded a bit off-putting, but subsequent runs through God Breaker's head had her admitting that it... wasn't so bad. Could God Breaker up and bust a speech like that out of nowhere? No, not yet she couldn't. It took guts to do such a thing...

But that did not mean that she was here to comply.

"Hmph! So you here the one to put down those danger signs..?!" She calls back, making a huge mis-assumption about how long Omega had been here, "Nonetheless, if you think I'm here to listen, you're sorely mistaken, Omega Redux!" She tried putting as much accusation and passion as she could into spitting out the name.

"This world belongs to the strong alone... And I've heard of no final boss to this game. To rule above monsters, she would have to be stronger than anyone else to have that throne, wouldn't she?!" As if to accentuate the clash of wills happening in the cave, God Breaker shifted her stance. Her gauntlet proudly sharpened outwards as an arm-blade before bi-sectioning into several joints as a spine would have--She beheld a great bladed whip in her palms.

"Prove your power to I, God Breaker!"

"As if Omega would put up such LAME looking warning signs..." Omega murmured to herself.

Miscommunication.
It happened everywhere. Anytime. Breaking relationships and nations alike.

Nonetheless, whatever miscommunication existed between the two, whatever conflict could have been avoided, it didn't matter. Omega Redux enjoyed the sudden turn of development this had taken!

Mostly thanks to @God Breaker Master X acknowledging her the way she did. Indeed, her heart had skipped a beat as the other Magia mentioned Omega's own name.

"Fufufufu...." There was still a chance to avoid a possible fight. "AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" To find a peaceful solution. "You dare to challenge OMEGA REDUX to a battle!?" She spoke. "You dare to doubt Omega's Omega Power!?" Her eyes widened. "So be it, Hero!" Omega had to give it her all to look menacing rather than grinning like an idiot. "Omega will accept your challenge." And ultimately, her face was still betraying her.

She wasn't seriously looking to go and kill another player. BUT this stranger was the very first one to take Omega up on her antics in a more serious manner! So, of course, Omega looked like she was now having the time of her life.

She simply loved every second of it.

"Raising her arms, closing her eyes, Omega started conducting. Up. Up. Down. Down. Left. Right. Left. Right. Her arms were directing an invisible melody as an assortment of small drones appeared around her. Each of them was given a shape dictated in the form of a weapon. A magitek sword to slice and spin. A long spear drone that could pierce the heavens. A crude magitek gun to shoot from afar. Omega, sadly, wasn't too powerful to really summon many or strong ones.

Besides, there was still one summon missing...

The otherwise silent cave was suddenly filled with music, as high above them, a musical playing drone appeared. ... NEITHER had Omega thought of a Boss Music of hers! She was... such a disappointment! How could she!?

But then again, right now all she could do was have a low-quality audio play instead of an entire Orchestra anyway. So, it would be fine. And if God Breaker Master X was her Alpha to her Omega, she had just the right tune...

"Your tenacity is admirable, God Breaker."
Omega put as much passion as she could into God Breaker's name, too!
"But can YOU back up those words of yours?"
The stage was prepared.
"Show Omega!"
Battle Stance set.
"Set your Soul ablaze and FIGHT!"

... Of course, as it was Final Boss etiquette — and Omega not having reached yet a Final Boss Level that opened the fight with setting the enemies' health bar to near depleted by an opening attack — God Breaker was allowed the initial attack.

God Breaker awaited the careful setup of all of the drones. It wasn't just a formality alone to allow Omega to speak-for all God Breaker knew, this could really be a PKer, and she was in danger. No, she awaited for the girl to carefully arrange the drones as she wished them to be.

Omega had likely only seen IMAGINE BREAKER take the shape of a rebar sword. She was hoping that she would use this knowledge to defend the drones by positioning them further spart from each-other, preferebly in an ordered line.

There seemed to be... five, in total? Two still forming. Omega still awaited her response. It had been three seconds since the beginning of her speech...

"Fine, then-as you wish!" Her stance was set forth for sake of the girl's rainbow-hued request. Her hand still lie on the elbow of her gauntleted hand, ready as if to draw a sword even from this range. Her eyes closed for a moment's time. In that time, a pair of eyes locked with her own in the mind's eye-the eyes that had inspired her sword once before.
Carmilla, I call upon you.
0CvrZw0.png

"Yokomeshi!"

The sword struck wide-very wide, for as God Breaker swung it was no longer a sword and held none of the limits. It was long and wide as a whip and cut straight through the gun and sword both as soon as they had lined up together.

The horizon-striking copy of Regan's technique also struck deeply into the stone walls and hanging ceiling. Stones fell from above, several falling as if to smash the overlord. Yet one of her still-forming drones took offense to this, and flattened outward above her-it had become a shield that would not be broken with smashing force. Stones pattered off of the shield harmlessly, and then it came to automatically bear in front of the final boss-it felt God Breaker's approach.

The whip had returned most of its' length to God Breaker's arm by now. She was twirling her arm as a ringmaster would a whip to create a spiral, and most of the length had wrapped around her arm at the time. The sight of the wall that had come between the two had inspired God Breaker to new heights in one thought's time-the curling length that wrapped around her arm was no longer a whip-it was a coiling spring.

The remaining length returned, merging into a blunt hammer not unlike a fist that she was used to making like her gauntlet. Leaping towards the wall, God Breaker met it head on with a wordless determined roar.

Coils unwound as the spring fired forward in time with her fist. It was a fist made to shatter any wall!
Unnamed Attack!

EosTv3q.png

She did not cry a name, for she did not yet have a name for the attack. Perhaps that is why the resounding WHAM heard clearly was not one that signaled the shattering of Omega's shield. Instead, it was only the herald of countless cracks that had appeared in the drone. That was not enough to reach the girl behind it. Omega was given precious seconds, two of which were shaved off by the shock felt from the impact against her invincible shield. This was enough-the other drone had formed into a wicked gun once again, and more were surely soon on their way.

Now God Breaker was on retreat. She leapt away to escape the thrusting lance, then swung IMAGINE BREAKER outward to stop the harrying fire that came from a distance. This still was not enough. As it turned out, the shield could attack too-so she learned as the thing hurled itself towards her in a spinning attack, slamming neatly into her gut! The shield drone itself shattered into hundreds of floating bits as God breaker went flying further unto the cave, swallowed by the darkness.

A second's time later should have signaled the THUD of her landing. This was surely the end, wasn't it? Who would get up after being socked in the stomach? However, thoughts like these required a critical point of fact-one would need to be down to begin with to need to get back up.

The sound of God Breaker reaching the ground had never actually come.

There was the sound of scraping, creaking, groaning metal. It was a sound that was familiar to Omega, but from where? A thought replayed in the Final Boss' head-it was the sound of a created spring coiling, just as it had when God Breaker had been about to launch--

TWANG!

The sound of unfurling spring was deafening--a disorienting BOOM sounded through the cave as God Breaker flew out of the tunnel anew, the twirling tails of what once was a spring now broken trailed from her arm. They twisted about in frenzied mania, only guided by the master that held them at bay. The bars of steel conjoined like melting glue and solidified, a true sword once again in the hands of the knight who was swiftly approaching Omega.

The pieces of drone attempted to recreate the invincible shield, yet were cut right through by heated, reshaped steel. The gun was pierced through as if a bullet had flown through it-the Lance was left to stop God Breaker's advance. The CLANG of steel re-deafened the people who had just gained their hearing again. God Breaker and Omega Redux had their weapons locked, the former pushing with all of her might as if to try and swing at the girl behind it. The effort of struggling against the drone could be seen in her clear eyes that were just across Omega's own, easy to stare at and see the depths of within.

"You--Will... Fall..!" As if the declaration would make herself stronger, she began pushing back the lance's gaunt frame inch by inch, reaching closer to the boss who awaited her strike...

Omega did not move. She wasn't too sure when it had exactly started, but as the battle between her and God Breaker, or rather her drones and God Breaker, continued, Omega did not move.

First, she simply didn't have to. It was an automatic response, just like breathing. Watching from a safe distance away as the ever-shifting awesome weapon of God Breaker dismantled one summon after the other, or twice-together. Yet, with each passing moment, her subconscious need slowly turned into more of a desire. As if, the moment she'd move, she'd lose.

Omega was the Final Boss, after all! And this Hero was simply a fledgling! If anything, Omega had to induce maximum despair for maximum heroic growth! And what better way than a crushing defeat!? ... Ignoring the fact that Omega, too, was a fledgling.

"That's quite a cool weapon you got there! Too bad that it wasn't enough!" She spoke up as her most-useful of all drones, the shield-drone, got a solid hit on God Breaker. Nice.

Hopefully she didn't actually kill her.

Omega didn't deal THAT much damage, yes?
Her concerns, however, were quickly unwarranted as @God Breaker Master X surged forward with a loud TWANG.

Surprise.

A mistake that cost Omega two more of her loyal companions. Yet slowed God Breaker down enough that she attached, fused, one of the last two remaining drones with her arm. Second phase. As some may call it. And while Omega was more ranged-inclined, summons were truly versatile!

"HYAA! Omega commends you!" Thus, Omega's lanced drone-arm locked into battle with Godbreaker's shapeshifting weapon. A clash that, if it was about pure brute strength, Godbreaker was sure to win.

Alas.

"Access— Zabahot. Let the world hear your rage thunder and sweep across the realm! GALE THUNDERCLAP!"

Despite being indoors, the ceiling of the cave became rather cloudy as moments after, a thunderbolt surged forth. Its aim true at Godbreaker, and maybe even Omega alike.
