Even if the particular island they were on right now was on the smaller side, there truly was far too much for anyone to explore in a single day... or perhaps even a single week if they were to include the small jungle and ruins that bordered the sandy beach a bit further in. Something that they didn't even see today, focusing entirely on the water and what was beneath it.

As her hand was taken by the vixen songstress again, the feline's cheeks reddened again, even if there wasn't anything else to it but the idea that they should head back to the surface now. It was late, after all, the visibility was low, and they had enjoyed the water plenty already. "Yeah, we should." With the affirmation, Fina would do her best to kick her feet so Vina wouldn't have to literally drag her back to the surface.

Surfacing, they weren't particularly far from the water's edge and the sandy beach. Even though it was well into the night now, the weather was still warm and pleasant, showing that this area truly was just a summer paradise.

As the two of them broke the surface of the water the bubbles that provided them air popped, the sounds which had been somewhat muted up until now returning to their usual volume. Vina had thought they'd gone further away from the coast, but from the looks if it they could return to the beach within minutes.

Pah! A refreshing swim is nice, but nothing beats fresh air~

Of course, the air that Vina had put inside the bubbles had been as clean and fresh as she could manage, so the vixen was exaggerating how glad she was to return to the surface. Taking a deep breath she'd lead the way back towards the beach, pushing herself up once the waters were shallow enough that her feet could touch the ground again. As she walked the rest of the way out of the water she'd finally let go of Fina's hand, quickening her step to run onto the beach, where she stretched and looked up at the night sky before turning halfway to look back at Fina with a smile.

That was a nice little trip, wasn't it Fina~?

Her hair and tail were both soaked, the white strands releasing a veritable rain of water which darkened the sand behind her. Her skin was also shiny from the wetness, even more so thanks to the glowing algae which resided in the water.

And the temperature here is nice as well, so I don't think we need to worry about shelter~ Hmmm... well, not too much anyway. (She pondered for a moment.) Do you usually let your body vanish when you log out?

Fina's ears popped a little as they surfaced and were no longer encased by the relatively small bubble. It was a strange feeling and probably something she wouldn't be getting used to anytime soon. Perhaps they'd find a better way to dive in the future? She didn't particularly feel like pondering about such things after a long day full of activities.

"Y-yeah, it was very nice." Back on the fresh air, it once again became quite easy to feel rather self-conscious as the night's wind brushed against her wet skin. That, and how she was being illuminated specifically from below by the water. Looking to the side, she tried to concentrate on different things while answering the vixen's question.

"Of course I do. I mean, what if someone stumbled upon it. Being completely defenseless and unable to wake up no matter what someone doesn't sound... ideal." Any number of things could happen and none of them seemed like they were any good, in all honesty.

Hmmm...~ You do have a point.

While Vina didn't dislike the idea of someone stumbling upon her sleeping self as much as Fina did she couldn't deny that the coma-like state a Starcalled's body entered upon logging out was far from ideal. The vixen shook her head.

It can be pleasant if you're logging out together with someone else in a safe place, and so far this place looks like it's as safe as we could ask for. However, if you're not comfortable with it we can just log out the usual way~

Her gaze went up towards the heavens. The sky was now dark, and the stars shone brightly, out here far above the ocean with little lighting beyond what the floating islands provided, from the bioluminescent lake to the active volcano on the island above their own. It was truly a breathtaking sight.

Of course, logging out without leaving the body behind does mean that when we return tomorrow we'll still be wet~ (She smirked.) Would you like to explore one of the other islands with me tomorrow, or would you rather wait until Ruby can join us as well~?

"O-oh-" So that was what she meant. Blushing a bit, Fina looked to the side as she tried to imagine it... or not, better not to! "Don't think I could ever do something like that without four secure walls around me..." Not to mention the embarrassment that the girl felt. And, well... was it really so comfy? After all, once they logged out, even if the bodies remained together, they would no longer feel anything. But what did she know, Vina clearly had much more experience in that department...

"And, well, at least it will be warmed during the day. The sun will dry us quickly once we log back in." Remaining wet seemed like the smallest possible issue they would be having. But then, a much different question arrived. "I already explored a little bit with Ruby, so... I suppose it would be good to have as many of us with experience as possible? Still don't know what all we could find here."

I'll keep that in mind then~

Vina winked as Fina stipulated that she'd only want to leave her body behind if she was in a place where she could feel truly safe. The songstress knew for a fact that there were multiple taverns and inns which catered specifically to Starcalled by guaranteeing a safe place for them to leave their bodies behind while logged out, but obviously such a place wouldn't exist on these islands.

Her eyes went to the moon that now slowly moved through the night sky, already having left behind the horizon to traverse the infinite dark dotted with many bright stars.

That's true~ Of course, you'd have to wait with getting dressed until the sun finished drying you off, but that's just a bonus isn't it~? (She smirked before switching topic.) I don't know what exactly we'll find here, but I can't wait to find out. Maybe forgotten civilizations? Strange and exciting creatures? Clues as to where these islands came from and how they ended up here? (She spread her arms.) That's the thing about adventures: you never know what you'll find~

However, that would have to wait until next time. As much as Vina wished she could play around in this world forever both of them also had things to take care of on Earth. With a swipe of her hand she opened her UI, fingers dancing on thin air as she navigated the menus while talking to Fina.

So how about I invite Ruby to join us and we figure out what to do once she's here~? I'm sure she has some ideas as well~
