Magnolia turned to look at @Chrys when he mentioned going peek for the grimoire, already nodding in agreement and taking a step forward, despite still being entangled by chains.

However, his words hinted he wished to go alone, and so he darted off, and Magnolia's expressions finally shifted to something that wasn't complete deadpaness, with her eyes growing slightly wider.

"Wait, sir Chrys, it is dangerous to go..." But he was already gone, and running after him while restrained would be tough. "... Alone..." She closed her eyes.

Ritual Hall

As Chrys went through, with the sight of the Ritual Hall opening before his eyes as he went past the last hallway, opening widely in a large cave space, with a stone circular platform being held by powerful structures and bulky chains, keeping it hanging above a fall that not even eyes used to the dark could see the end, no matter how much you leaned on the edge of the platform to try to see it.

On the center, a strong mana was glowing, making a grimoire with a smile-y face stamped on its cover hover gently, rotating in a constant speed.

dqpbLJb.png

The Grimoire of Pipiko

It was an unmistakable sight. That was the Grimoire of Pipiko, that was directly guarded by two well equipped cultists, aside of the other six novice cultists that roamed the area.

They, however, seemed to greet you friendly, not feeling bothered by your presence.

< Chrys Expertise Check: +73 - Success + Facilitator >
Your presence and the information spread about you and your group gave you a great advantage at first, but your remaining firm posture made the cultists grow trust and respect toward you and your group. They won't stop you from any immediate action, which gives you plenty of time to act without fearing for immediate retaliation.

The struggle to endure the sickness the expired magical cheese had caused was stomach-wrecking. @Marigold Diablo could feel her tummy quivering, twisting at every moment she moved a bit abruptly, all while she used all of her will and constitution to endure it.

Magnolia couldn't help but feel bad for Marigold. "If you desire, I may have a medicine, that I can give to you as soon as I am free, madam Marigold..."

However, as time passed, the sickness didn't seem to entirely overtake her senses, and eventually she felt it slowly being pushed away... And away... And away!

PLOP!

Something had made a strange sound, and an ethereal, yellowish amorphous figure passed through Marigold's tummy, soon materializing on a slimy and creamy creature that had a strong golden tone into it.

krp8NYv.png

Mozza, the Spirit of Cheese

"Mozza, Mooozza, Mozzamozzarella... Reeeeella mozza.... Mooozza, mozzarella!"

It spoke, encouragingly to Marigold, before flying and landing gently on her shoulder, somewhat melting to make itself comfortable on it.

"Mozza... Mozza... ZA ZA ZA! ZA ZA ZA RELLA!" It seemed to laugh, a little maniacally... But still caring for the young magician.

Marigold could feel something warming inside of her chest, and then running through her veins, as a foreign mana seemed to pulse through her body, strengthening her senses and power.

Magnolia, who was still shifting aside, looked at Marigold with a slightly puzzled feeling bubbling in her chest. "What is this creature, madam Marigold? Is that a summon of yours?" She inquired for a moment.

< Marigold Diablo Save Against Complication: 75 - Success + Grand Facilitator >
You've not only overpowered the Cheese, but you've also absorbed it onto yourself and dominated it, and right now, it is entirely latent. Any roll (aside from Saves) you make for the rest of the thread that involves your Cheese power, is made with Advantage. You may also, once in this thread, activate the Deus Ex Macheese, which allows you to turn the tides in the favour of you and your group- But... You must do it by acting and speaking in the most cheesy way you can accomplish.

There wasn't much time for questioning, however, so Magnolia continued to work on trying to squirm her way out, at least until @Amity approached her, only making the maid slightly apprehensible. "An idea..? What it would be?" The maid questioned, with a worry tingling her chest, even if her face didn't show it blatantly.

Magnolia fought back against her own instincts to not step away as soon as Amity grew a smile on her lips, making the maid shudder subtly and quietly, maintaing her eyes locked on the girl. "I don't... Understand what you mean, madam Amity, but I..."

She swallowed, and as soon as the girl giggled and went through the chains and touched Magnolia magically, the maid couldn't help but feel a chill running through her spine, making her let out the softest of the gasps before she was pushed away from the bound she was in... Albeit at the cost of Amity being stuck in the chains herself.

"Wh..." Magnolia paused, looking at her own hands and arms, now free for her to move, and turning toward the now bound Amity, that has taken her burden for herself.

"Madam, I won't allow you to stay stuck. Give me a moment..." She said, resolute to help the other, as spooky as she was.

Quickly, Magnolia began working on the chains, carefully trying to squirm Amity out of their strong hold, taking the ghost girl's wrist and trying to pull her arms out of the chains... However... As soon as the maid touched the chains too much, they release a brim, similar to the first time Magnolia had unleashed the trap.

The maid tried to step back, but swiftly the chains entangled her once again, pulling her close to Amity and squeezing them both face to face in a tight bind, making the maid click her tongue and squirm helplessly, before letting out a sigh and looking at Amity, but averting her face for a moment.

"... This won't do... We can't lose any more time. We must assist on taking the grimoire before it is too late..."

That position was embarrassing, but they probably couldn't afford another round of freeing attempt.

Now, you both act as a singularity, sharing the same HP, condition, health, and position as well. Your strength is bigger, you roll adding your modifiers and the modifier of the companion tied to you... However... Should they fall to their death, so you will. Should you fail a Save, so they will. Magnolia Build

The Ritual Hall!

Chrys managed to find the Ritual Hall with the Grimoire of Pipiko hovering in the center of a platform hanging above a pit that was impossible to see how deep it was. Marigold felt strengthened by the spirit of Cheese, Mozza, that now was aiding her in this adventure... All while Amity and Magnolia now shared the same predicament...

While everyone would have the time to go (and act) to the Ritual Hall. Chrys' actions on the Ritual Hall chronologically counts as the first one, regardless of the post order.
  1. Create a distract and take the grimoire?
  2. Casually take the grimoire?
  3. Ask around?
  4. Something else?
Regardless of your choice, make one appropriate Quality Check along with it, that may be using either Mastery or Expertise. Remember, however, that your action will have more value than your roll.

Hehehe... Chrys sneered in his head as he left the girls and made his way to the Ritual Hall. He tried to make himself feel better by gaslighting his brain that this was all according to his plan. The truth was, however, that he was making all this up as he went along. Aren't we all?

In his head, if he could take the grimoire as fast as he could, capitalizing on his current goodwill with the cultists, and then reunite with them after he already had the grimoire, it would be much easier to escape than having all of them trapped by the cultists. Worst case scenario: He'd be the only one trapped, with the girls either saving him or leaving him to his fate. Either way, I can finally get that much-needed vacation from all the girls.

Wait, what the fromage?
Chrys gulped, his eyes widening in surprise as the whole of the Ritual Hall lay itself before him as bare as a baby. This wasn't the first cultist lair he's explored before but something about it felt...stranger. Things felt...weird. That was until he finally laid eyes on the magic book in the center of it all, the grimoire of the tickle demon, Pepero, or whatever it was called.

Chrys could feel the strong mana of the glowing grimoire, the face on its cover easily creeping him out. He felt drawn to it like a moth to the flame and other cliché phrases like that. It was right there, ready for him to grab and go. Except for the fact that there were a bunch of cultists around anyway. So Chrys had to improvise. Again. He started by clearing his throat and approaching his two "friends" in a totally non-threatening manner.

"Greetings, friends and loyal servants of our lord and master! The higher-ups have requested to have the Grimoire delivered to them for cleaning. I see you've all done a great job protecting it, so don't worry, I'll deliver it for you. Least I can do to honor your great service to the cause!"

Casually taking the grimoire might be a bad idea on paper but the worst would have been to switch it with his blank grimoire. Well, it wasn't the worst until he realized there were far too many cultists around to NOT notice the switch. At least his bullshit has worked on someone else before. Chrys was banking it would work on these dorks as well. Fingers crossed he won't lose any of his fingers.

Chrys then reached out for the book, a warm smile on his friendly, totally trustworthy face for everyone to see. That is if they could even see anything from inside his cultist hood.

Amity blinked as she found Magnolia considerably closer than before.

"Awwww Cannoli~iiii~ I know you can be shy but you should've spoken up sooner~! Of course you can float with me~!"

Amity wiggled amounting to a little snuggle.

"Though we oughta be careful~ fufu~ in some ghost cultures this exact situation would constitute a ghost marriage."

Amity glanced past Magnolia to see Lil' Diablo having an episode.

"Oh, oh dear... when she gets like this there's not much to do but wait it out. Goooold stufff haaaay Gold stufffff~"

Amity lightly called out in falsetto just in time to witness the (immaculate birth?) of cheesebaby.

"Oh there we go~ that was fast this time. Good~! Let's get going shall we~?"

Looking back at Magnolia Amity winked. Then, they slowly drifted up into the air as Amity's hair extended to grab Marigold and float her up and along as well.

...It was then that inspiration struck.

"Oh~ OHHHHHHHHH~ Of course~! It was so obvious~! The Puzzle Map and The Puzzle Map Strategy Guide are two separate things~! But~ I only have one action~ fufufufu I see~ I see~ It was for this moment all along~! Magnolia~ dear~ Lend me your aid~ For together we are not just Amity nor Magnolia~~~~~ We areeeeeeee~!"

"AMNOLIA~ (yay!) !"

Amity was certainly hyped. Two hearts as one. Two souls. Two actions. One goal: Solve the Puzzle Map to reveal The Demon Contract Binding Sigil.

For you see, dear reader; The Puzzle Map was not only a map. It was also a puzzle, a puzzle for puzzling and mapping out wherever you wanted to go, and whatever you wanted to do. Yes, though it required a guide it was a guide itself; a blank canvas with an infinite number of solutions.

...In other words, it didn't really do anything but occupy your hands while you tried to think of something.

"ACCIO PUZZLE MAP~! ACCIO PUZZLE MAP STRATEGY GUIDE~! HYOOOOOOO~!"

The mysterious puzzle map and its strategy guide floated over to the two. Amity's red eyes glinted as the Puzzle Map Strategy Guide's pages flipped to a section called "Demon Contract Binding Glyphs."

The puzzle map itself's pieces swarmed like busy buzzy bees in the air.

"First comes the sphere's corners~ but what comes next~? ~Okay Canoli~ together now~ let's finish the puzzle map~!"

Probably dragging everyone along gently through the air, the three drifted toward the room of the great and ominous tome of Pipiko.
The promised hour was near. Probably.

Marigold, now relieved of the upset tummy looked at her shoulder and noticed the gooey cheese spirit cheering her own.

"Ah, I see now. I've gone insane. The cheese was so bad that I've lost my mind."

Marigold sighed to herself and covered her face with her hands.

"I just wanted to be a cool sorceress..."

As she sat there trying to make sense of her digital life, the cheese spirit cheering her on, Marigold felt Amity picking her up and floating her after them.

Taking a deep breath, Marigold once again looked at the cheese spirit.

"Okay, Marigold. As long as we're not totally insane and this guy really exists then we're going to make this work. You've probably got some really cool... powers, right? Like you can... turn... things into cheese? Oh! Hey we might be able to make this work! Turning things into cheese is pretty good! As long as it's not bad cheese that I have to eat. Maybe if I we can turn people or monsters into cheese that would be a really quick way to end a fight, right? Yeah... I think I can work with this! Okay! From now on, Mozza we're partners!"

Marigold stopped herself really quickly.

"He... hey... you guys..."

Marigold called out to Amity and Magnolia.

"You... you all can see Mozza too, right?"

Marigold hoped whole-heartedly that Mozza The Cheese Spirit was not something only she could see...

Magnolia's gaze fell on the sorceress for a moment, noticing she was nearly having a breakdown... Or perhaps, she was already having one, but she was too busy being stuck to notice it properly.

"Mozzaaaaa~! Mozzarella!" It cheered, circling Marigold and then nuzzling its dairy skin against the girl's cheek, trying to soothe and cheer her up. It could feel how bad the poor girl felt, and it didn't like it!

"Mozza, mozza! Mozzarella." It nodded, chirped and swirled one last time near the sorceress, resting on its shoulder as the girl was taken to be carried away.

Upon the girl's question, Magnolia tilted slightly, nodding to her in a reassuring manner. "I can see it very well, madam Marigold. It is an interesting summon you have with you." Whatever it was, that is... She wasn't entirely sure what that was meant to be, but it smelled like cheese.

Its talking tick was sure intuitive as well.

< Marigold Diablo didn't roll anything: Neutral Cycle >

The reaction of the ghost girl regarding their small predicament didn't surprise Magnolia in a bit, though, it did make her cheeks blush for a moment when the other snuggled her a bit. The maid didn't dislike that, but it certainly didn't feel like the time for it. "Marriage..? Yes... This, uhm... It is too early to think about that, madam Amity." Magnolia said, averting her eyes in mild embarrassment, even if her face didn't show.

Her eyes locked more onto the puzzle map that approached, watching it intrigued and wondering what would be used regarding it... With the speech and then chanting of 'Amnolia' making the rosiness on her cheeks grow, even if her face remained unchanged. How could someone spill these embarrassing sentences so casually was beyond her. "You are sure enjoying yourself, madam... I am glad for you." She said, locking her attention on what was before them, however. "Alright, you have your map. I will be our eyes and ears then... Let's proceed."

And so, they went.

< Amity and Magnolia's Expertise Check: 71 and 99 - Great Facilitator>

Working together on the map, Amity and Magnolia could easily find their way to the Ritual Hall. As they were meticulous on figuring out the puzzle, they have acquired the knowledge to keep Pipiko under control. When using 'Knowledge' Checks to deal with Pipiko matters, both of you roll with Advantage.

Meanwhile... Chrys casually reached for the grimoire by the center of the platform, giving little to no time or reason for anyone to question his presence or even wonder what he was doing in there. After all, he was part of the group that was supposed to bring the sacrifices to Pipiko, in order to keep the demon well sealed and satisfied until they could seek for more powers from it.

However...

As soon as Chrys tried to touch the grimoire, one of the cultists that were guarding the area, yelled-

"Wait- WAIT, DON'T TOUCH IT WITHOUT HOLDING A FEATHER!"

But it was too late, and as soon as the man's fingers connected with the grimoire... A blinding flash devoured all of them.

< Chrys' Expertise Check: 47 - Neutral Cycle>

"A-Ah... Oh no! It is... Damn it! Run, run!"

One of them yelled, and among with other cultists, they ran, just in time for the other three girls to find their way to the Ritual Room, finding the tall man slightly dazzled by the light, albeit slowly recovering himself... And soon, they would notice a figure, along with the grimoire, sparkling with mana overflow while laying by the altar of the platform. One that perhaps it was who they were looking for...

A demon girl, standing with a solemn expression on her face seemed unmovable... At least, until her shoulders began shaking, along with her body...

"Pipipi..."

She abruptly arched, striking an imposing laughing pose.

"PiiiiyaahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Yesh! Yeeesh! Pipiko... Pipiko..."

Her laugh eventually calmed down, and her eyes opened so she could look at her beloved saviors, and a grateful smile was struck to them, with all the cutesy the demoness had to offer.

"Pipi... Pipiko can't thank you enoughpipipiko. You've been of great help for Pipiko pipiparo~ Piiiyaahahahah~!"

She laughed once again... But this laugh soon died out, and a cold, empty gaze covered her eyes.

"Pipiko hopes she isn't asking for too much... However... But Pipiko needs a little more than just freedom pipiparin... The smile is the beauty of the soul, and Pipiko... Pipiko is empowered by smiles, so..."

The emptiness of her eyes were soon replaced by something even more eerie... A brim, a brim that tickled your minds, that prickled your eyes, and that gave you goosebumps.

"Be a dear, and give Pipiko your soul."

The cuteness of her voice faded, being taken over by a rumbling and guttural voice that made your hearts tremble in fear... At the same time your lips couldn't help but quiver into a small, quivering smile. A laugh wanted to come out of you, but it was an undesirable one.

Before the group could react, however, Pipiko went ahead with her surge of attacks... Releasing a swarm of fuzzy bats, that swarmed the group and blinded them momentarily!

While they were swarmed, Pipiko locked her cursed gaze upon @Marigold Diablo, trying to entangle the sorceress and her small cheese minion into a fit of laughter and ticklish impulse, that wiggled deep into the poor girl's heart as it tried to corrupt her into the most silly and jestful of the desires.

The swarm then charged and focused on @Chrys, engulfing his face with fuzzy and ticklish fur, that may or may not have brought chuckles out of him... However... He couldn't ignore his nose twitching, ready to have a surge of sneezingat any moment unless he had the willpower to stand it.

Separated from the rest of the group, @Amity and @Magnolia stumbled aside, and it didn't take long for a cage to suddenly morph under their feet, lifting off from the ground and locking the two of them before floating to hang by the top of the room, rendering the two of the helplessly on the ceiling.

Magnolia huffed, bracing herself and trying to keep standing despite the abrupt movements. "Tch... Ah! Madam Amity? Are you alright? Did you get hurt?" She asked, with her expressions mostly unchanged, but the tone of her voice slightly raised with the agitation, concerned for the well being of her 'soulbounded' companion, then gazing down at the comradres that were far below.

"Madam Marigold, sir Chrys- This madness will only end if we manage to defeat Pipiko-" She said the obvious, but she wasn't sure if this group understood the obvious anyway. "Be careful with the edges of the platform. I wouldn't doubt it is a certain death... Or even worse... If we go down." Granted, she wasn't certain of it.

And with the warnings, Magnolia braced herself once again, already trying to near the gate so she could prepare to try and pick the lock of the cage...

THE GREAT TICKLE DEMON

PIPIKO

14 LP 50/120 DC 30 DMG
❰ 4 / 4 ❱
❰ 14 / 14 ❱

Defeat Pipiko!

Pipiko is a powerful Tickle Demon and has been unleashed upon having her grimoire being mishandled (oops tehee~!) Don't be fooled by her cute face, she is ruthless and is attempting to bring suffering to all of you.

You may use Passives, Free Actions, Bonus Actions and Actions as normal, with the Action being used to make Mastery or Expertise Checks, if you choose to do so.

Decrease Pipiko's LP in the following ways:
  • Make a DC 50 Mastery Check (adding your Weapon Rank or another Mastery bonus to the roll).
  • Make a DC 50 Expertise Check.
  • You may also use any Attack or Defense Action, but the DC is 120.
  • When attacking, you are limited to deal up to 2 LP per attack, if you reach the double of the DC. When using Mastery or Expertise, you can lower the LP as many times as you surpass the DC.
  • When decreasing Pipiko's LP to 0, she will be defeated and be at your mercy.
You may also decrease the SP, by destroying the four chains that support the platform of the Ritual Room:
  • This may only be achievable with a DC 50 Mastery (adding your Weapon Rank or another Mastery bonus to the roll) or Expertise Check.
  • If you have a SP damage Action, you roll with Advantage.
  • When decreasing the SP to 0, the chains will break and the platform will fall into the bottomless pit along with the altar, the grimoire, and everyone that is on the platform... The consequences are unknown.
Your HP equals your Sanity. If your HP reaches 0, you lose your Sanity, and you are fated to be an eternal joke, defeated by a low level demon with a very weird name, that will haunt your dreams with her mischievous laugh. Every Cycle, you receive 30 damage as retaliation if you make any type of Action during it. (@Amity and @Magnolia add their HP and share the same Sanity for being bound together)

Facilitators continue to happen depending on the roll... And every Cycle, Pipiko will make one complication against each target.

Cycle 1 Actions

Pipiko attempts to possess @Marigold Diablo with a powerful curse. If Marigold fails a DC 60 Will Save, she will have urges to tickle everyone in her sight while laughing hysterically (She may make the main action as normal, but her passives, free actions and bonus actions must be used to tickle someone of your choice, that will have Disadvantage on their next roll).

Pipiko encase @Amity (and by consequence, @Magnolia) in a cage that magically hangs on the top of the room. While inside of the cage, the two of them are considered Vulnerable until they free themselves. They may make a DC 60 Knack (or any Mastery Check) to somehow unlock the cage.

Pipiko sends a swarm of fuzzy bats to attack @Chrys, he receives 20 damage. These bats not only tickle, but their fuzzy fur cause a strong sneezing urge. If Chrys fails a DC 60 Will Save, he won't be able to concentrate and will sneeze every time he acts during his turn, halving the final result of his rolls.

"Why wouldn't I be able to see the cheese baby, goldie? It's not a ghost after all~ I mean~ is this really anything all that new for you~?"

Amity chirped at Marigold before turning to answer Magnolia.

"And~ Of course I'm having fun silly~ isn't this like some grand adventure~? Well~ maybe more like a fever dream~"

Amity looked around at everything and tilted her head.

"...But i'm sure it's fine! ~~~Honestly I'm a little more worried about the puzzle map~ it chose knowledge huh~ knowledge~? ~Hmmmm~ Know-ledg-eee~ know-ing thingsssss~ well maybe knowing that I don't know just goes around and proves I'm really, really smart~?"

Amity puzzled the completed puzzle map with a bit of a nervous smile as they began their approach toward the room. Maybe that's why she had gotten Cannoli trapped in a cage so easily...

*****
Magnolia's voice brought Amity back to reality where just before her eyes had been a pair of comical swirls. Sure enough she'd become lost in the puzzle map once more.

"...!"

"...Hmmm Cannoli~ did you say something~? Oh I'm finnnee~ I'm a ghost after all~! ~More importantly..."

Amity blinked as she took in the demon. Then, Amity slowly leaned in to whisper to Magnolia, she hardly needed to, but it's the thought that counts.

"Say Cannoli... about your master... uhm...?"

Amity gestured with her chin at all of Pipiko.

"...seriously?"

Amity cleared her throat.

"RIGHT. What I MEANT to say WAS~"

Amity gestured around Magnolia and herself, which probably forced Magnolia to do much the same. Joined at the hip and all.

"Look~! ~Four corners~! Just like the puzzley do~ said~! Oh yes~ fufufu~ it's alllll coming together~~~~~~"

If she could have been rubbing her hands together right now she surely would have, but instead she sported a happily mischievous grin as she glanced back over the eldritch puzzle map to ascertain the first portion of the ritual. The four corners truth.

"Magic and paying attention usually aren't my forte~ but I'll borrow a little of that Goldie moxie~ Now then..."

Amity closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she began to glow---

"FRAPPUCINO - GRANDE - EN VENTI - EXTRA CREAM - NO MILK - ICED'N'FOAM !!!!!"

---and shouting that bomped her head into the bars of the cage.

And so, Amity attempted the first step of the sealing ritual she assumed she had learned from the puzzle map: To contain everything within the four corners; by attempting to use her metamorph powers to make the cage grow and envelop the whole room...

Let's get ready to rumble.

Hmm? Chrys raised an eyebrow, confused as to what the commotion was all about, his hands already moving fast toward the grimoire. Gah! My eyes! My beautiful Chinese eyes! Chrys screamed in his head as the blinding light took him by surprise. Instinctively, his hands found their way back to his face, over his eyes, after having touched the damned book.

Slowly, Chrys regained his sight, catching only a glimpse of the inappropriately dressed demon girl before her fuzzy bats from hell swarmed his face like he was a tasty treat. Well, he was, but not for fuzzy bats. What in the actual he—heehee—ll?! Terrible Michael Jackson impression aside, Chrys found himself unable to resist sneezing despite the brief fit of chuckles. It was not that funny, after all.

As Chrys continued trying to keep himself from sneezing and failing, he tried to use his aura to chuck rocks at the damned fuzzy bats and the barely dressed demon girl but to no avail! "AH! AH! THE HEAD! IT FEELS LIKE SHE'S TRYING TO TICKLE MY BRAINNNNN!"

Marigold Diablo squirmed as Pipiko's eyesight tried to dominate her lesser, sillier instincts. Still, Marigold had a trump card. She had felt it, or hope she felt it since she still wasn't sure that Mozza wasn't some type of group hallucination, that she had what they call "The Power."

"No! It won't end here! I won't let you win, Pipiko! I'm going to... fight this off and then get that book and get paid lots of money! I DIDN'T OVERCOME THE BIG CHEESE TO BE TICKLED TO DEATH! NO! IN FACT! WHEN I'M DONE WITH YOU, YOU'RE GOING TO BE MY TICKLE DEMON THING! SEE IF YOU CAN WITHSTAND THE ALMIGHTY POWER THAT GRAND SORCERESS, DUCHESS OF BARONESS THE ALMIGHTY SUPREME..."

Marigold fought to keep her head straight while Pipiko's tickle waves attempted to penetrate her mental defenses.

"...ughhhh YEAH, THAT OR WHATEVER! HAHA!"

Marigold crossed her arms smugly as she felt the power of cheese (or full-blown psychosis) welling up inside of her.

"This is going to be no gouda for you, Pipiko, because this swiss is pissed! you better be ready to rind because I'm looking to make me some cheddar! Let's go, Mozza! POWER OF THE CURD MAKE ME INTO THE MUENSTER OF PIPIKO'S NIGHTMARES! I AM THE BONE OF MY SBRINZ! DEUS EX MACHEESE! FALL AND SWEAR YOUR FEALTY TO ME PIPIKO! FOR I AM MARIGOLD! LORD OF THE STRING (CHEESES)!"

Marigold held out her hands towards Pipiko and hoped that between her magic and Mozza's assumed power over cheese, something good would happen.

@Amity @Chrys @Magnolia

MARIGOLD USES DEUS EX CHEESE TO TRY AND USE THE POWER OF CHEESE TO ENSLAVE AND BIND PIPIKO TO HERSELF!

Magnolia glanced at Amity when she gestured at Pipiko, making the maid's cheek flush for a moment, even if her expressions remained unchanged. "Madam... I have no idea. My master is eccentric, but I'm sure he means no ill by... This." She frowned. "In Traveler words, as I've heard before, he is too much of a nerd." Magnolia pointed out.

Meanwhile, Chrys seemed to struggle against the bats, not even managing to hit the demoness, that only made her cackle in overconfidence, certain of her victory.

"PIIIIIIYAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAH! PIPIKO WILL WIN, PIPIKO IS INVINCIBLE! PIPIKO IS--!"

When she least expected, a large group of cultists to approach, interrupting her monologue and thoughts.

"Here, the Cult Supply Emporium was over here!"

"A-Ah! There they are! And the HR-Guy is there too!"

"Wait? The HR-Guy? That's no good, if he dies, how we are going to get a raise?"

"Raise..? Pipipi... There will be no raise for people that INTERRUPT THE GREAT PIPIKO's SELF EGGRANDIZING SPEECHES!"

Yet, there was another interruption for her speeches, and this time, on the form of a giant cage that grew so much, it overtook all of the platform.

⚠️ IT IS NOW OR NEVER ⚠️

MaWONR1.jpg

❗❗❗THE CAGE FIGHT BEGINS❗❗❗

"Fighto! Cheese Inferno!" The cultist cheered on, tossing a Yladian Darkwood Broomstick Omega Version Green-Friendly 40K ✦✦✦✦✦ to @Marigold Diablo.

"Get her! HR-Man!" A cultist called, throwing an Adamantium Folding Chair Max Comfort Premium Edition EX ✦✦✦✦✦ into the cage, near @Chrys' feet.

"Never give up! Amnolia!" A cultist called, throwing an Ultra Shiny Trashcan Self-Cleaner Coated Z-Type ✦✦✦✦✦ near @Amity & @Magnolia.

Her laugh eventually calmed down, and her eyes opened so she could look at her beloved saviors, and a grateful smile was struck to them, with all the cutesy the demoness had to offer.

"Piiii..! How dare you?! You were supposed to be Pipiko's servants! You can't cheer against Pipiko pipiparo--!!!"

"Hmph. It doesn't matter. When Pipiko is done with these baboons, she will-"

Yet, Pipiko's words were soon cut short, by Marigold and her Cheese-Spirit Companion, that charged up a special attack that was empowered by the mana and determination that came from the depths of her heart.

"Moo... zza... mooooo... zzzzaaaaaa...
ZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

A beam of melting cheese erupted from Marigold's hands at an overwhelming speed, steaming just as it tackled the demoness.

"N-Nani?!"

"P-Piii-?!"

"PIWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH~?!?!"

Engulfed by the melting cheese, strings of the scalding diary stretched to the bars of the cage, wrapping tightly around them.

"Pii... Piiikooo... Ow ow ow- All of this... Cheese? What is up with it, pipiparin--?"

A worried expression ran through Pipiko's face, that knew what that cheese was about to do... Yes... It was ready to pull her into another seal, one that perhaps wouldn't be so easy to be freed, not over the watch of these meddling travelers!

Pipiko struggled, summoning her power to free herself from the cheese- It was a race against time!

"Everyone! We need to help madam Marigold to bind Pipiko... If she free herself, she will certainly retaliate with all of her power." Magnolia said, glancing down at the trashcan, frowning slightly.

Kicking the trashcan, making it fall and releasing its lid from, then stepping on its edge abruptly to make it flip upwards so she could snatch the grip of the lid with her teeth, using it as a shield for both of them, leaving the body of the trashcan for Amity to use as she wished.

"Maham Amity, aah'm counting ahn yeou!" Her voice sounded a bit funny, but it was what she could muster with an open mouth.

When he finally managed to overcome his allergies, Chrys was yet again surprised when he noticed that a steel cage had surrounded them from out of nowhere. Okay. The nature of this quest was fast becoming absurd, especially when the cultists threw some sort of chair at him. It's...a folding chair? Looks pretty comfy, though.

Chrys picked up the weapon and began testing it for himself when he noticed there was a raging battle going on around him. He had thought it was just the girls playing around, especially with all that talk of cheese and baboons. Chrys has had that kind of party before. It was gross.

But then he heard what Magnolia said and he tightened his grip on his makeshift weapon.

"All right then. Let's get ready to RUMBLE!!!"

Chrys screamed as he ran to where the inappropriately dressed demon girl was, ready to smash (respectfully) her head in with the Adamantium Folding Chair Max Comfort Premium Edition EX ✦✦✦✦✦ while John Cena's theme song played in his head. You can't see me, my time is now! Despite that, however, Chrys did not like John Cena. He was more of a pre-Black Adam Dwayne Johnson fan. He'll do it for The Rock!

Would be a missed opportunity if Chrys didn't try doing the Rock Bottom, right? Like, it's literally right there. Rock, Rock Bottom, The Rock? The damned thing writes itself. Amity's eyes had the look of a saint full of all the world's compassion as her hand phased through the chains momentarily to lightly grasp Magnolia's shoulder in sympathy. The Maid had a trashcan lid in her teeth like some kind of badass garbage day commando.

"We all have our struggles, don't we? Then let's struggle!"

Amity's ghostly hand descended to reveal the last of her 'bring an item' items. It was the damp knife.

*kssssshhht*

Amity's other arm phased through the chains to aid in cutting into the lower hem of her dress to produce two strips of cloth. Then, using the knife once more, she maid a pair of eyeholes in each. When she was done, Amity had two masks. The first she gently donned on Magnolia's face and tied it with a cute little bow, the second, Amity equipped to do the same.

"Now we're ready. Let's lucha."

"khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~!"

The crowd went wild.

Amity slipped her arms back into the chains as she slowly strafed back and forth and up and down like those wrestling games with awful lock-on controls. Finally, her bechained hip aligned with what she was aiming for and she hopped (she really didn't have to, Cannoli and her were already floating), right into the trashcan!

...Now they were double enveloped by metal thingies...

...Which... was just as planned?!

"Let's use the opening Goldstuff and Dusty gave us for a super duper special big move!"

"GoldStuff!"

"Dusty!"

"Get ready for the pin! Watch out! Coming in spooky hot!"

"Trash girls~!"
"Trash girls~!"
"Trash girls~!"

Winking at her partner in crime, bondage, and waste disposal, as the crowd shouted their name, Amity began to spin the whole mess that she and Magnolia had gradually accumulated... they really were all that and the kitchen sink.

"Let's go Cannoli!"

The centripetal force gave them lift as they began to spin faster and faster and around and around the ring---

*Zcwhinnnn~ whin~ whin~ whin~!*

----while making Sonic The Hedgehog revving noises as they went, faster, fast, faster.... they were now riding the cage's walls at crazy speeds as sparks flew everywhere!

*pohn~!*

They gained air and broke from the wall!

"That's it Mozza! Bind her you beautiful cheese king!"

Things were getting weird, but to be fair weird is where Marigold thrived. Looking to the ground in front of her Margiold Diablo smiled as she picked up the broom.

"Not going to lie, its been a long road to this point. Lot of hardships overcome, lot of trash eaten, lot of living in dumpsters but for once in my short time here, I know exactly what I need to do."

Picking up the broomstick, Marigold held it above her head and pointed to the crowd. Cheers issued from every direction. Putting the broomstick close to her mouth, Marigold began to speak into it as though it were a microphone.

For some unknown, the broom responded and began working as a microphone. Marigold's voice projected to the crowd.

"Nothing means nothing..."

Marigold began to monologue, and as she did a change took place, not physical, but mental. There was determination in her eyes.

Now was the time.

"The cream rises to the top..."

Taking the broomstick, Marigold began climbing the inside of the cage. Once she reached several feet over Pipiko, Marigold let go.

"For Narnia..."

Reading the broom, Marigold at first thought to do a smashing attack over Pipiko's head, but no! Her trajectory was wrong! Swinging, Marigold made swift contact with Pipiko's shin as fell to the ring.

LUCHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

"Pipi..?! PIIII, STOP, PLEASE! DON'T PIPIKO PIPIPARIN FOR THE LOVE OF ALL PIKOKOS!"

However, her plea fell into deaf ears, as the trio was already preparing their ultimate attacks-

Adamantium Folding Chair Max Comfort Premium Edition EX ✦✦✦✦✦, on the hands of @Chrys, gave no room for the demoness to make any more plea or any ticklish enchantation, making a sonorous PANG! that almost sounded like a frying pan hit, making a (metaphorical) stars halo roll above Pipiko, lost, stunned, and dizzy while her sight blurred-

Spinning at the speed of the sound, Ultra Shiny Trashcan Self-Cleaner Coated Z-Type ✦✦✦✦✦ streamrolled everything on its path on @Amity's control, eventually connecting with the restrained demoness, leaving not only her, but Magnolia rather disoriented, though she still managedto plant the trash can lid on Pipiko's face.

"M-Madam, I'm not feeling... Well..." She held back her breath, with her head becoming limp.

And to finish the ultimate bonk-down, the powerful mage finally released her wappazoopy shabam, using the full power of Yladian Darkwood Broomstick Omega Version Green-Friendly 40K ✦✦✦✦✦ to strike a powerful hit on Pipiko's shin, making her standing falter, letting her dangle on the sticky cheese that never released her from its grasp.

"Mooozzzaaaaaaaaaaaah~ Mozza mozza mozzzaaaa!!!"

Tired, defeated, and hopeless, Pipiko could only watch the cheese spreading across her, slowly covering her whole body as she panicked-

"PIYAAAAAAAA- NO, NO! PLEASE, DON'T DO THIS TO PIPIKO! PIPIKO DON'T WANT TO BE STUCK ANYMORE! JUST AS SHE FINALLY GOT HER FREEDOM, PIPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-"

She screamed, struggling, but soon it was gone, with a cheese silhouette of the demoness shrinking as her muffled screams quietened more and more...

...

...

...

Aftermath...

As the sun set, the trio left by the front door, escorted by the cultists.

"Well, it is a shame that the Tickle Demoness wasn't as strong as we thought... If she could've been easily defeated like that, she would've never helped us to dominate the world."

The cultist said, giving the grimoire to @Chrys, shrugging.

"I think you can keep it, Cult Supply Emporium. A small token of our gratitude for helping us, and well... So you won't sue us for these small incidents, right, right?"

Clearing his throat, the cultist rose his hand, as to bid farewell.

"Anyway, take care!"

And the front door closed, leaving the trio by themselves.

Magnolia, that was still slightly dizzy, leaned slightly on the ghost-woman, letting out a sigh. "That was the weirdest mission my master had sent me to..." She muttered, glancing at the man.

"Please carry the book for us, sir Chrys... I think madam Marigold will be too busy making sure Pipiko is properly sealed." She said to the man, then glancing at the mage prodigy, that had a Pipiko miniature with her, whether it was attached to something like a keychain or simply laying anywhere she desired.

"Pi pi pi... Pi pi pi..."

"Mozza mozza!" The cheese patted the small Pipiko, trying to comfort the fallen demoness.

Magnolia's lips twisted very slightly at the pitiful state of the supposed tickle demon, but she had other problems to deal with.

Squirming a bit, still entangled by chains, she looked at @Amity.

"And we need to talk to my master to see if he can dispell this silly magical trap already, madam Amity..."

CONCLUSION

Upon defeating the cult and Pipiko, the trio returned to Trevor's estate, in Cindershine Town. There, they were rewarded with a good dinner, good laughs (except for Magnolia), good gold, and perhaps even a magical artifact if interested.

The story told made him perplexed, but at the end of the day, he was pleased enough to just have the grimoire back.

As for Pipiko's fate... It was up for the prodigy Dairymancer...

Exit: Stage Left

When the dust settled and the antagonist was beaten, Stone Cold Chrys Austin heaved a sigh of relief. He just stood there, like a confused Great Khali, taking it all in. He had just won a wrestling match against a demon girl. With a bunch of other girls, including a cheese wizard or summoner, a Muenster tamer. There was nothing left to do but get that grimoire, go home, and get paid.

"Grazie, random cultist. The Emporium shall remember this kindness."

The Emporium, or The Chrys more like it, would not, however, as the guy had the memory of a goldfish. Well, in this game. Intentionally in this game. He had to reserve the memory slots in his head for his more serious real-life job of defending everyone, criminals mostly, from the legal system. Hopefully, he'd remember these girls with him today, but truth be told, he probably wouldn't. He could barely remember his own skills.

"Oh, don't you worry, Marigold. This grimoire is safe with me. Hehehe."

It did cross his mind: taking the grimoire for himself and disappearing to parts unknown, where he would sell the damned thing for more money. It dawned on him, however, that he wasn't that knowledgeable in the magical artifacts trade and even doubted that anyone aside from its original owner would care enough to waste millions of GOOOOOOOOOLD on a freaking tickle demon that was more trouble than she was worth.

So, heaving a sigh, Chrys decided to just go with the flow and surrender the grimoire to his original employer. All's well that ends well.

I wonder what that cheese creature tastes like, though...
