Town of Cindershine

Cindershine.

A town located by the edge of Lyrwick, at the opposite side that made border with Norfova. A bit farther from the core of the problems the region usually faced, but also far from being the most wonderful place to live in. In eternal cloudy state, an undying rain fell from the skies, making the horses' trotting splash against the hard surface of the stone streets, crowded with somber people, most of them cloaked against not only the rain, but from prying eyes that desired to have their identity.

Almost as if everyone feared being seen, no one actively walked in the open.

"W-We are almost there..." The driver said, peeking from the small opening the caravan had.

Magnolia nodded, turning to look at @Zera Leigh, who sat in the opposite side of the caravan, facing the maid that remained with the same expression through all of their travel... And honestly, through all of the mission that preceeded it.

"Once again, my sincerest apologies for bringing you in here, sir Zera." She spoke, bowing her head. "... But my master has great interest on meeting the 'wild man'. Which was the main reason I was sent to investigate the occasion." Thankfully, Magnolia didn't have to resort for violence. In fact, she was able to leave all the dirty work to the man, and the lady that was with him, managing to keep her hands clean, feigning to be a helpless yet curious damsel that truly needed to investigate it further.

Was it really necessary to bring this man all the way to her master's estate?

She was already used to her master's... eccentric ideas. But that didn't help to make her understand it.

Zera sat in the caravan easily, rubbing the back of his neck with a bit of nervous tension. He'd met Magnolia out of pure chance and the woman had earnestly suggested that he come with her after their encounter. He looked down at himself and was suddenly grateful for the way the game's system worked. Once he put an article of clothing into his inventory it adjusted to fit his rather audacious frame. Thanks to that he had clothes to wear instead of the furs and leathers he had been wearing up until this point.

He still wasn't in the best sorts, though, especially not for meeting some kind of Nobleman! The nerves worked their way up his leg and it tapped a few times before he jumped at the sound of the caravan driver speaking. Ah, way too nervous, he would have rather been working on a patient rather than this. He glanced up at Magnolia when she spoke and gave his best, most earnest smile.

"Seems I got a bit of a reputation living out there, BA HA HA!"

He couldn't help but laugh at the irony of a hermit getting a reputation with outsiders. He shook his head and leaned back a little, glancing out the small slit in the back of the caravan wagon to see splashes of the rainy city beyond. To think there were cities this populated in this world. It was such an amazing experience. He rubbed his arms instinctively and looked at her.

"You... wouldn't happen to know why he's looking for me, would you?"

Magnolia's eyelid barely twitched at the laughter the man spilled out of his mouth. What was his problem? Laughing all the time when he was clearly tense. It was almost funny, seeing such a large and bulky man fidgeting like a kid, but Magnolia couldn't really laugh at the sight.

"Your reputation echoes from town to town, sir Zera. But honestly, it isn't entirely your fault." Magnolia said, unsure of how much she could tell the man. Her eyes trailed to his arm, seeing another fidget, another attempt to distract himself with an arm rubbing that attempted to suppress the tension flourishing on his skin.

Did she really need to calm a grown up man?

"I have my guess, sir Zera. He has been looking for this 'wild man' for a long time, but... I am almost certain it is just a misunderstanding." Magnolia said. "He insisted I should bring the 'wild man', even if they weren't what he was expecting."

Her master was rather whimsical, which brought those strange requests on the table.

"But I can assure you, that no harm will reach you when meeting him." Magnolia said, before adding: "And if it comes down to it, sir Zera. I will protect you as you did to me back then." She reassured.
