Chako certainly had 0 desire to learn how to hunt, but she did like stargazing at least. Camping might be nice too, so... "Yeah, it doesn't sound that bad." Chako nodded.

The game also being filled with conflict was something Chako expected from the start too, so she was already mentally prepared for it... It's just not the kind of thing that can be avoided.

Still, Chako had no intention of harming anyone. She would just help her friends as they needed it and that was about as much as she was willing to deal with conflict. She hoped to be able to just explore the world and enjoy having proper legs without needing to get into fights at all if she could help it though.

Why did I even bother with trying to join parties in the first place? Chako wondered to herself. She really should have set out by herself to just enjoy the sights... But hey, getting kicked from the 3rd party in a row led her to meeting Ruby, so things worked out in one way or another!

So... Well, she didn't comment on the conflict part, but she acknowledged it.

"I'll look forward to the adventure, then!" Chako giggled for a second before Ruby started running.

It was... Fast! Like, really fast! Really really fast! How could it even be this fast!? Chako felt like she would be blown to smithereens if she accidentally let go, or if Ruby collided with something.

And suddenly... "Wait, did we arrive already!?" Chako could hardly believe her own eyes as Ruby stopped and the hamlet appeared in front of them... Just how much had they just traveled...?

No wonder Ruby offered a ride before... It really took her no time at all... I must have been a real bother asking to walk the way here instead.

Chako forced herself to get down, though she had forgotten how to put proper strength on her legs, so she fell on her butt again, "A-aha..." It was embarrassing... "S-sorry for the trouble and... T-thank you very much! You've helped me a lot, Ruby!"

We're probably not seeing each other again after this, huh? She probably won't want to waste her time on me again...

Ruby had a proud grin on her lips when @Chako seemed stunned about how fast they had got to their destination. "Yeah! It takes a lot of energy though, it is like as if I've jogged from where we were all the way to here, I can't do that all the time and infinitely." She remarked, casting a glance at her EN gauge. That 'small run' may have looked quick, but it had spent as much energy as she would spend to run all that course at a 'normal speed'.

Of course, she had ways to mitigate the energy spending, but it was too nerding around it.

When the little girl went too hard to get out of her back, Ruby's eyes widened seeing her plopping her butt on the ground. She looked down at her for a couple seconds before pressing her lips to suppress a laugh, and holding out a hand for her.

"You're welcome. Are you going to log off?" Ruby asked while helping her up, considering the goodbye tone of the little girl.

After that, she would still hold the girl with a hand to make sure she would firm her standing while making some hand gestures in the air with the other free hand... And soon, a small window would show up in front of Chako's eyes:

Notice

Crimson Ruby has sent you a friend invitation.

"Oh... That does sound like it would be quite tiring..." Chako couldn't even imagine what it would be like... Suddenly getting all the tiredness of a huge jogging streak in a very short while... It probably feels even weirder than getting used to moving legs, ears and tails around.

Chako then started blushing as Ruby laughed... Ugh, I really need to get used to my legs already!!!

She held Ruby's offered hand nonetheless, and made use of her help to get up, "T-thanks...

"O-oh, and I'm not gonna log-out yet. Mom won't mind it if I play for a bit longer-

"Nya!?" Chako jumped in place when the sudden notification popped in front of her. And as she got her feet back on the ground, she lost her balance again and almost fell on her butt once more, but she pulled herself into Ruby's embrace and barely stopped herself from falling, "S-s-sorry!" Chako exclaimed with a tomato-red face, but she didn't let go. For some reason her legs felt like jelly right now, so she was sure she'd fall the moment she let go of Ruby.

And only after doing that, Chako's eyes finally landed on the text within the notification that refused to leave her eyesight. Her eyes went wide, her ears perked up, and her tails both went upwards too.

I-is this real!? I-I'm not misreading it, am I!? Chako's eyes went through the short pop up again, then went to look at Ruby's face... It didn't look like the face of someone who just accidentally sent a friend request.

"I, uhn..." How was she even supposed to reply to that? "Thanks..." Thanking someone for a friend request felt awkward.

She just pressed the accept button, still half-in-disbelief at it, trying to understand how was it that being this much of a bother for Ruby led to a friend request.

Still holding herself to Ruby, Chako figured she'd ask, "So, uhn... What you planning on doing now?" she had already forgotten they came to Honeyhome after she stated that she was getting hungry.

@Chako's reactions intrigued Ruby, that tilted her head and twitched her ears, especially when the girl squeaked in surprise and apologized, and then thanked, and then seemed to have a flurry of different reactions to the same thing.

A smile drew on Ruby's lips, and she gently ruffled the girl's hair while she still held her. "If you aren't going to log out, I'm planning to show you around. There is a lot of stuff to do, and you seem new. I can't let a newcomer by themselves, right—?"

She chuckled, and then, her expression turned slightly more serious.

"Besides, I need to make sure you know exactly what you are meddling with."

Then, she leaned slightly away.

"Let me know if you still want the ride or if you can walk by yourself. Either way, I'm here to you, so I won't let you fall, alright?" Ruby grinned with her tails swaying.

Chako was relieved that Ruby didn't seem to mind the hug.

And once her hair was ruffled, Chako started calming down a bit. With relief washing over her... Right... Ruby is... Ruby is my first friend here in Terrasphere! I don't need to be nervous around her!

So, she started recovering a bit of strength on her legs... It still felt very strange to move them, but calming down was enough to get a proper feeling of her legs back, so Chako should be able to stand on her own now... Probably.

"Ah, I would like that." Chako smiled at Ruby's offer, deciding to not worry about being a bother anymore, she figured Ruby wouldn't have sent the friend request if she really minded it, "I'll be in your care for a while longer, Ruby!"

Chako didn't quite get what the whole thing of knowing what she was meddling with was about though, so she just nodded to the offer.

"I can walk! Unless you're planning on showing me a place that is an hour away and that has no nice sightseeing spots in-between, then I'll accept a ride!" Chako grinned, then took a step back, finally letting go of the hug, only to hold Ruby's hand again like they were doing when they were walking to Honeyhome, "I'm looking forward to finding out what this hamlet has to offer!"
