Personality
Outside of the game and net, Olivia is a cheerful university student working on her qualifications for becoming a university teacher, already getting some practical experience while working with her new colleagues on various research in the field. A life that can be pretty interesting at times, yet strangely unremarkable for what the girl had envisioned.
Her overwhelming excitement often gets carried over to the net and Terrasphere instead, where she is not bound by the rules and restrictions of the physical world. She throws caution into the wind and charges ahead whenever something catches her attention. Not afraid of accidentally being rude to a superior and forever tarnishing her standing, she rarely thinks about choosing her words when talking to others, often resulting in bold honesty.
Still, she is a friendly player who will always help others, if at the expense of her own safety. Never actively trying to hurt others or be antagonistic toward anyone, she can be a fine companion if allowed the chance and given enough patience.
Positive: Inventive, dedicated, cheerful
Negative: Impulsive, brash, careless
Background
Olivia's life was strangely unremarkable until she discovered Terrasphere. While her personality made her many different friends and her enthusiasm and commitment allowed her to try many different things, all the while she performed more than admirably in her studies, there was never anything that could be considered truly exceptional. This never bothered her. After all, she was plenty satisfied with her life and always looked forward to even more new experiences that would allow her to enjoy life more.
This was when she discovered Terrasphere. Sometime after discovering the joys of things like D&D or general roleplaying, Olivia became fascinated with the concept and its seemingly endless possibilities. The idea of playing a character entirely unlike herself simply fascinated her, not to mention that fabricated worlds rarely stopped her from doing what she wanted. It was then that she discovered a strange email in her inbox. Naturally, she had heard about the game before. It was hard not to know about it after all the publicity surrounding its worldwide ban, even if much of it was quickly removed and silenced.
She was skeptical about the whole thing. Especially as someone who finally managed to become a teacher for others, she should lead by example and follow the law. Not to mention that it has been four years since the game was scrubbed off of the internet. However, curiosity did not allow her just to walk away. She became ecstatic when she discovered that the downloaded launcher was the real deal. Dangers of such a game be damned, she ended up creating her character and diving in for the first time, ready to experience a world where no lack of finances could stop her from doing what she wanted to.
