He sighs and reclines his head against the stone he is leaning against, a groan of displeasure passing through him as he curses under his breath. "Alright, alright… It can't be that bad, can it? Abandoning a beginner's quest happens all the time, I've seen it before."
It's not that it's a complicated quest, mind you. The task given to him couldn't be any simpler: capture three (any more would be appreciated and dully compensated) mandrakes for future usage in the concoction of a popular remedy sold to beginners such as himself.
"Ugh, but I don't want to have to deal with whatever repercussions this game has. The last thing I need is someone pointing at me and going: 'Oh hey, there is the guy that couldn't complete a level 1 quest!'"
However, the NPC in charge of assigning him his task had conveniently left out the most annoying detail of the entire ordeal: the plants had a mind of their own, able to feel fear of their would-be captors and run at the sight of them, screeching in a high-pitched volume that one could only describe as both bizarre and ear-shattering.
He sits against a stone pillar and pats his hands down his outfit, attempting to clear himself of dirt and grass sticking to the fabric after what could be assumed to be a few failed attempts to complete the task. Not that he had come with anyone, but to him, it was important. Frey readjusts himself and closes his eyes, willing calm unto himself with the soothing visage of a mandrake being strangled by his own two hands.
"I'll just sit here for a few minutes, recharge… And then we'll go back at it."
