She knew she could leave it to the dependable next generation. Hanno, who proved again and again that he's reliable. And Lune, even with how questionable her methods were. Ultimately, they were just people, trying to do what was better for others.

"The best. Sure, I'll take that compliment." She chuckled lightly, finally taking the credit as the faerin averted his gaze for some time.

The woman patted the blades of grass off her left shoulder, before Hanno admitted that something inside of him was still messy. "Hm? Is there something you still haven't been able to express?" She already felt bad for hogging Lune's body for a while now, but what's another minute or two?

Hey, I'm not complaining. Finish your business.

Some moment passed, and they stayed unmoving, the breeze of wind starting to pick up. The position is still a bit awkward, but she just crossed her arms, tilting her head with a little smile, reacting not only to Lune but to Hanno.

"Anything? I'm still here."

A small smirk crossed his lips when she took the compliment, nodding, and then pondering about her question, with so much running in his mind, however-

"Way too many, but you don't have that much time, do you?" Hanno asked. There was a slight hint of hurry in Corvella's eyes, a small callback to the fact this was Lune's body and that she probably was there, in a way or another.

His cheeks then grew slightly redder when he noticed that funny position was lingering for too long, making him clear his throat. "To make it short, it really doesn't matter how much in a slump everything is, having you around does make a big difference. But I guess this isn't only because you are someone that brings hope." Hanno said, not averting his eyes.

"You are really precious to me, after all. But I only realized it after losing you for so long, after finding out I would never see you again" Hanno said, with a bittersweet smile and rolling out from top of Corvella, laying flat next to her and keeping his eyes up in the sky. "I'm not sure how much of a mess it will be to get you out of that situation, but I will keep trying to find a solution." His eyes then turned back to her.

"That much I can promise to you, Corvella." Hanno's bittersweet smile turned a bit warmer, encouraging, hopefully both to her and himself.

"There's never gonna be enough time," She teased.

Lune would give all the time in the world, but nothing would fix things that broke inside of Hanno. Maybe not even time. Was it crueler to just let them reunite like this, rather than for the two friends to never see each other again at all?

Corvella muttered under her breath, almost inaudible. "You're also precious to me, Hanno."

She really was glad. Even years after her demise, there's still someone who remembered her, someone who kept her close to the heart. But no tears shall fall today, that'll be setting a bad example. Instead, she enjoyed the sight of the bright blue sky.

"Maybe that day will come, or maybe it won't. But..."

Her head turned to the left where Hanno was, meeting him in the eyes with a smile. "I'll be waiting." The woman rested her head on the grassy field, closing her eyes and letting out a soft, deep exhale. The next voice that came out turned back to Lune's lower, more artificial tone.

"I guess that went... pretty well? I think?"
The blue-haired woman got up, her pair of eyes back to the usual blue.

Hanno's bittersweet smile turned warmer when, despite the quiet way it slipped, their feelings were mutual. Lot of 'what ifs' and 'maybes' crossed his mind, but he couldn't go back to the past, nor he could change the present situation in a snap of fingers.

"I will be going after you then."

But Hanno would keep trying.

Fighting for the sake of the Corvella that was in a statue, the Corvella that was in Lune... whichever it was, he would try what he could to get her out of that predicament.

When the golden returned to be blue, and the question slipped, Hanno took a deep breath.

"As good as it could be, I think." Hanno said, not moving away from his laying position, nor averting his eyes from the sky after Lune had stood up.

He paused for a long moment, lips pursing and his eyes closing eventually.

"Lune, buddy. I don't know what you will be doing after all that... especially knowing you are having uh... a new start." He said, turning to lay on his side, a bit tired.

"But never give up of the people you care for, gotcha? Taking their presence for granted... really backfire."

"It's... quite hard. To... what do you call these things? Finding yourself all over again?"

"Ma'am, we ran out of a certain material for this part, what should we do?"

Looking a little bit annoyed at the shouting from the distance, Lune slowly got up and stretched. "Ugh, work's calling. Guess it's about time you go back to yours, too. You do have a lot of people looking up to you now." She teased Hanno with his alleged promotion to Captain while patting the blades of grass off her thighs, preparing to leave.

"The next time we meet, though, there might be some... visual changes. At least what I planned—" This sounded really stupid, but she swore she had a pretty good reason for it, the woman explained while looking all flustered. "—Look, Chelsea kind of shouted my real name out loud during that fight, after all. But this time,"

Opening her UI, Lune proceeded to add Hanno to her friend list. The one that should persist.

Notice

Lune has shared her contact details with you.

"I'm not going to run away from you. There you go, now I take my leave." Lune waved slowly at the knight as she walked away, before stopping in her tracks. "Also," She reminded, "If one day any doubt arises, remember that everything I do, I do it for the people I love."

Friends. Valeria, Ari, Nico, Brian, Chelsea, Gigi, Ekaterina.

Kenji.

"And I believe you'll do the same. Until next time, Hanno." Then she walked, towards the new era. No longer chained to the past, but still holding it tight as a reminder.

"It is hard, for sure... But no one else can do such a thing for us, so it is good to keep a good faith on yourself." Hanno said, taking a deep breath as the yell called for Lune, and remaining still even when Lune mentioned people looking up to him. "I will. But first... I will rest a bit." He sighed, averting his eyes to the sky. "This was exhausting, to say the least. So I will just go and work the double of what I could've done while resting."

The mention of more visual changes made his eyes return to Lune, with the UI notice soon popping up in front of his eyes, which he made it fade swaying a hand to confirm it.

He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the mention of 'running away' from him. A sentence that made him frown, and mutter- "Are you running away from someone..?" It was quiet, however, seeing that she was wandering off to somewhere else.

At no moment he decided to halt her, or to question about it. He would leave it for another time, when she had more time.

However, the path she was seeming to take concerned him.

"See you later..." Hanno said. "... and take care, Dayeon." Another quiet whisper, before he turned to his side to close his eyes.
