Introduction: Hello! I am KDot.-! I live in the US and am usually free from 4PM to around 12 AM EST on the weekdays! I usually have trouble reaching out and messaging people I'm not very familiar with personally, but my DMs are open if you're interested in just talking or making a thread! I've roleplayed in tabletop systems for a while so I think I am an experienced roleplayer, but I've never done forum rp before! I hope to become more proactive as I learn how the server works and meet more people!
Interests: Meaningful combat, personal relationships, exploration, learning the lore of a world, developing characters organically, and in-character, non-forced conflict!
Non-interests: Shallow or joke characters, forced drama, repeated combat slogs, and extended 'light' rp with no clear goal in mind (though some is very fun!). I also dislike hashing out the entirety of a scene OOC! I prefer to create a bare minimum framework for the beginning of a scene and seeing how the characters interact and guide the situation organically!
Thread Length: No preference
Post Length: 150 words is a hard minimum and I have no maximum -- it just depends on how much I have to work with! I don't have a preference for a partner's post length!
Posting Pace: I try to respond at least once a day with a hard minimum of once every other day!

- Humor. ■■ - Roleplays having lighthearted and funny elements in them, writing for laughs.
- Edge. ■■■■ - Dark themes or elements that push characters to their limit, not necessarily bleakness or the excess of it.
- Freeform. ■■■■ - The free-wheeling player fun where rules are a convenience.
- Mechanics. ■■■■ - Using the RPG mechanics the site offers, such as using actions in combat or rolling dice.
- Power. ■ - The enjoyment of having a powerful character through optimization allowed by the rules.
- Challenge. ■■■■ - The enjoyment of triumph or winning of defeating a great enemy or overcoming adversity.
- Risk. ■■■■ - The gambler's thrill, the fun of taking a big risk, the tension that comes with it, win or lose. Basically anything involving dice.
- Change. ■■■■■ - The desire for change and development when it comes to plot or characters.
- Closure. ■■■■■ - The ending of long or short roleplay threads, storylines and character arcs.
- Schadenfreude. ■■ - The thrill of seeing the antagonist or the "bad guys" get what they deserve.
