Kaede never invited people over to her house, there was a reason and as the elven woman bolted around trying to clean the place up it was made all the more clear to her why. She did not like to clean things up or put things away more often then not leading to nothing short of a pig sty lifestyle. Now that she had offered to let Luna come over though was why she was in a mad dash to clean the place before the friend arrived. Her mind wondering if that was the right word to describe their relationship but quickly back burner the thought to focus on cleaning. Animancy forming several extra limbs to pick things up and clean.
"How much longer till she... Oh..."
Kaede's thoughts stopping as she looked to see the sun already rising and likely meaning Luna would be on her way here or soon enough so Kaede's focus moved from scattered to a single line of cleaning. Rather then worry about the house as a whole she would focus on what could be seen going from the front door to likely the bedroom as she doubted she could not steer the events to there to keep the rest of the house from getting seen. So she would go about just that all the while Totetsu sat on her med watching Kaede move around rapidly grumbling and rolling to sleep as best the hound could.
It would not be clean enough to relax till about noon, and Kaede partly hoped Luna would not get on till later so she could keep cleaning the other areas of the house starting with the main rooms. Kitchen, her Sewing room, and the bathroom. The guest room was not a worry as she would refuse Luna sleep anywhere but beside her and it was currently being used as a storage room of all the more obnoxious messes that would take days to fully clean up. The massive piles of fabrics, the unclean cloths, the broken crates of potions and things all hazardously tossed or stacked in the room with a sealed and locked door to keep it out of sight out of mind.
A few heavy breaths as Kaede walked around the home checking under things, around corners, and just overall inspecting and making sure she had got everything she could before Luna arrived. Taking some of that time to lay out a few outfits as Kaede recalled she did say they could take the dress up back to her house and have Kaede in the hot seat. None of the outfits she left out revealed much but hopefully Luna would not ask for those clothing until Kaede calmed down a bit or was allowed to ease into them. Hand holding her head as Darkness kept shouting Kaede as she was right now was a disgrace to what they had once been as the witch nervously awaited her friend's arrival.
