Everything was silent not a single animal chattering or chirping, even the wind seemed to be holding its breath as the two of you watched the leaves and brush shake with impact. The ground began to rumble and vibrate, if either of you were to look closer around the camp, you would take note of the tracks that seemed to not be human. They were deep and uneven, and showed as both hooves and knuckles. Whatever the beast was that had killed the group of hunters had definitely caught onto both of you; and it was coming... Fast.
The only noise was the leaves rattling against each other, however... That was very quickly drowned out by thunderous hoofs. The hooves were reverberating through the forest floor, growing closer and closer to you both. Each second of the approach, you grew more and more cautious. However, nothing could prepare you for what the source of the sound was. Branches were ripped from trunks and leaves shivered in the air before falling onto the nettle and stone. A beast came clambering into your sight. It's black eyes would flare up and it's front legs- or arms stomped on the ground a few times when it caught sight of you. It gave out a roar of anger and annoyance, perhaps something was bothering it?
It's nose almost visibly shooting out steam as it charged at you, horns aimed towards you both. It was ready to do the exact same to you as it had to the hunters it had preyed on before you.
