Gently guided to more privacy, Juni continued to steam as the idea that they were really doing this set in. Could she? She looked inward for a moment, still freaking out externally.

No.

Even without being trans, she couldn't bring herself to have her first time like this. It should be more special than that, right? Didn't she deserve that?

"I-" Slowly, she began to look down, then shook her head from side to side, "I can't. I want to but I just...I'm sorry! Can we exchange info real quick? I should really go." Back to being nervous, hitting the 'Buy and Equip' button on her UI as she brought it up, keeping the outfit she'd just bought equipped as she then went to friend Tani.

This had been a lot of fun, but she just needed to get some fresh air and hop off the game for a bit. She had needs to take care of and other things to do, anyway.

The remainder of the time, she couldn't bring herself to look Tani in the eyes, looking everywhere but there.

Before things could really start getting good, Juni suddenly looked down and away. Tani frowned slightly, confusion all over her face. What was going on? Juni confessed that she was interested but really just couldn’t indulge herself with Tani just yet. The cheerful alchemist was surprised and maybe just a tiny bit hurt. She’d gone and gotten herself wound up for nothing!

Then again, maybe she had pushed Juni too far, too fast. The fact that Juni couldn’t so much as look at her seemed like proof of that. Tani pouted a little but didn’t protest. “Mmm… well okie dokie. Maybe some other time then?” she asked a bit hopefully, still thoroughly attracted to the way Juni looked now.

Opening her HUD, she sent a friend request to Juni, one of the first and only things she learned how to do as a beginner. After all, why else was she here if not to explore and make friends? There was a massively awkward air left behind, but Tani tried to make the best of it.
“I’ll see you again, ‘Kay? I’m soooo happy I got to meet ya! Lemme know when you get to Japan and we’ll set up some hangouts!”

Tani almost went for a hug but thought better of it and just playfully ruffled Juni’s hair instead. She felt a tiny bit sad as Juni logged out but didn’t let it get her down. Obviously, they were still friends or Juni wouldn’t have wanted her info, right? Right!! For now, Tani was gonna do a little more exploring. Where were these “starter rats” that everyone said she had to beat up for experience??
