Every single pixel... Or rather, an inch of her new body. Every strand of hair, every smooth touch of her skin. Riemenschneider cupped Bubblyfoot's chin, tilting her head slightly while adding more details. It was funny, she has spent so many hours in this art, so long that she didn't even notice she has been online for a whole day. Nothing that surprised any of the servants of her house, after all, with her condition it was actually a relief she had someplace she could completely forget her real situation and pretend everything was fine.
With the final touch being done, Riemenschneider looked at Bubblyfoot again, smiling satisfied with her work, and nodding quietly.
"That should be enough."
She gave Bubblyfoot's nose a boop, giggling quietly.
"Cute."
"... Yes."
Another star called through the skies. Blinking, the new traveler looked up with her vibrant eyes.
She took a deep breath, ironically possible considering the race she has chosen. Stretching her toes on the grass, she could feel its fresh touch on it, and soon she looked down at herself and her hands, closing and opening them and noticing she simply had some starter clothes and not many items or anything else.
Her legs worked just fine, just like the other VRMMOs... But... This one felt different. It felt so proper. So similar to the real world on the other side.
Struggling the first few steps, it was already common for people to take a bit to get used to a new body in a game, but in Ronja's case, this was extra difficult.
Pushing her way through, she eventually met and stumbled on a tree, resting her back on it and looking up to see the sun not very high in the sky.
Was it the same as real life? She has spent a lot of hours in the game, completely losing the sense of it. Perhaps it was time to log off... But she had just got started with it.
