《 Oderint dum metuant 》
Giving the chef an order of surprise might have been a bit dangerous, but then again, what was the point in living safely? If the first bowl tasted so heavenly, then surely there could be no variant that could possibly taste bad! Lucille was looking forward to what she would be surprised with.
She also couldn't agree more with Ginevra's sentiment. "Fufu~ INDEED! It is no surprise that someone so magnificent as the Queen of Darkness herself would possess knowledge beyond even that of mine! I am eager to learn from thee!" She would nod along with her words several times, having absolutely no idea what she could possibly learn from her companion. She knew only one thing: it would be undoubtedly awesome!
And as the conversation slowly ticked along, the wood in her stomach got to work, spreading warmth through the girl's body and slowly easing up the effects of her drunkenness. It might have been relatively gradual, but at least it looked like she'd be fine by the time they made it all the way back to the tavern and, more importantly, the inn next to it.
