Personality
Kam is an aloof, yet easygoing and kind-hearted fellow who always tries to do what's right. A quiet man, he tends to keep to himself most of the time. Some may find it hard to get a read on him as a result and choose to keep their distance. But those who do manage to reach his inner circle will unearth a loyal friend from his stoic demeanor.
Though he won't go out of his way to look for conflict, Kam harbors no aversions toward it. In his youth he was more prone to fits of anger, but these days it would take something extreme to push him to that point.

Background
Growing up, life in the big city was fairly average for Kam. He had a loving family, a couple of friends, got decent grades in school, enjoyed nerdy things, and eventually developed his art skills enough to make a comfortable living. His apartment was cozy, and as an adult with his own money he was able to pursue other interests like HEMA or studying Japanese. It was mostly smooth sailing. That is until he received the email.
Of course he had heard the murmurs online of a mysterious VR game that was unlike any other. But despite his love for gaming, he wasn't about to download some sketchy client from a random email. He'd seen enough movies that started this way to know they rarely ended well for anyone involved.
For days it sat in his inbox. Until one night an intrusive thought crossed his mind: What's the worst that could happen? It's just a game. And so, his story begins…

The bass drops harder, and the acapella resonates brighter. Music affects you more strongly than it would others, drawing out greater emotional highs and lows until you're gasping for air, filled to the brim. And then it comes crashing down, leaving emptiness with the silence. Where did those emotions go? Within you? Or within the tunes?
