Personality
Asuka is a girl with an upper-middle-class upbringing and a gentle demeanor. Until you annoy her and you get a snappy retort and sharp glare. She easily falls in love considering she's had many previous boyfriends that she JUST KNEW she was going to marry.
She is dedicated to her job and her quest for true love.
In the past, she would play VR games just for fun but now she plays for work and to vent. Going by Alias "Asura" the Demon Blade she gives off a cool and confident presentation, although she really is still pretty contemporary once you spend time with her.
When she is angered or otherwise scorned, Asura becomes a lot closer to her namesake. Mercilessly hunting down and rectifying whatever wronged her. This trait sometimes proves useful for her employer as she is fairly easy to manipulate into her angsty and dangerous mode.

Background
Asuka lived a fairly demanding life. Her parents pushed her to do her best at schooling and often moved to different places for work. This made it difficult for the girl to make friends or become attached to any particular area or activity.
That was until she found something she could do anywhere and escape with, VR gaming. at first, her stubborn parents were against it and she was forced to play in secret. Until they finally related when she proved to make money with her skill at it. In real life there were books but in VR there were blades. She created a duel life, the perfect student, and a dedicated gamer. All the way up until she accomplished the wishes of her parents... to enroll in the esteemed Nexus Academy.
Life became more difficult then. she had become so good at what she did as a gamer that she even became the Champion of a VR Sword Quest competition, only now it was no longer possible to practice. The VR world had become criticized after the Meta incident, and her parents doubled down on keeping her from her otherworldly fun. The academy was also far harder on her than any previous venture. Leaving her stuck having to compete with peers of a completely different level.
This led her to lose the next championship she entered and caused her to quit gaming entirely. Eventually, this paid off in her studies and Asuka would graduate. Soon after gaining employment with Nexus Corp as many graduates did.
Time passed, and her roles within Nexus changed several times.
Now in the year 2032, a new player logs into the massive underground phenomenon that is Terrasphere.
She calls herself Asura. the Demon Blade.
