Amir El-Amari is known to his family, friends, and colleagues to be a very precise archaeologist. His methods are very efficient and his love for structure is unparalleled. However, he is also known to be quite rigid and unbending, preferring to do things on his own than adapting to another's method. Although his ex-wife first considered him boring, as his entire dating profile revolved around dirt and the past, she eventually fell for his loyalty and extremely impressive hygiene. Their marriage only lasted for a few years, as Amir became distant from her after obsessing over a new dig site.

Amir El-Amari has spent most of his life obsessed with his archeological work. It started with his parents, when they first brought him to a dig site, and has since drowned every little aspect of his adulthood. Ever since his divorce, however, he's become more distant from family and friends, now including colleagues in his field. He has hoarded all of his studies, his research, and any and all information related to his work. These days, Amir keeps to himself, barely even leaving his house, if not only to do his much-needed groceries.
After falling into a rabbit hole of online links, he found his way into a private website that talked of an illegal game filled with potential. Amir faked his way into membership on that very website and stole all the information he could, leading to him actually getting his hands on a copy of the game. He has since played Terrasphere for his own amusement, bringing his brand of obsessive compulsion and trying to live his upended life inside the game. Yikes.
