Personality
Alia is a gentle soul. Though she is determined as heck to help as many people as she can and have a good time. She may come off a little shy and probably a little more quiet and blunt then most people but its mostly because she's had to deal with things being all on her shoulders. Alia is a strategist and a fighter and so she will find ways out of situations too. The type of person you want on your team because she will be loyal and she will do everything to make sure you live including giving away items. But you have to get through walls to get close to her. She works with honor and grace. She does have tendencies to call you out on your stupidity and is fiercely loyal to those she cares about. Being on her bad side is not exactly a good idea and once you are you might find it a bit hard to get back in her good graces because sometimes you don't know until its far to late and you are trying to grovel for her acceptance again. Usually not one to be so mean she generally not let you know if you have upset her enough to be on the bad side. But when you find out you are at your very last chance to make it up to her. She has been described as a protective lioness at least more than one time both likely in-game and in her own real life.

Background
Nellie was born to two parents who wanted the world for her. She loves her parents very much but they are strict in just about everything. The reasons behind why people really shouldn't want to have everything she has. She'd rather be on the other side of the fence. She'd rather make a name for herself. But she was born into old money and though her parents were around they were the ones to remind her every day that she was not like the other low lifes around them. She does not believe that those of lower class then her are worthless and she somewhat envies them. However regardless of being the eldest in her family and the one that is supposed to keep everything in order she had gotten exactly what she wanted and she keeps the parents off her younger siblings. Excelling in everything that she put her mind too.
Nellie is an excellent swordswoman from fencing to katana wielding she has it down to a graceful art. The girl even sings as that's how she's put her younger siblings to bed at night. Nellie has won championships with her sword skills. She does however find ways to take a day off and slack when she wants too so long as the parents aren't home to realize it or she can pull the wool over their eyes. It's the reason why she was excited to hear about a virtual reality game that she could escape into. Terrasphere is something that she can do to just relax or at least she hopes but then there is the whole aspect of this being a whole new world and no one needs to know who she is. And so she can't wait to take on another persona not that she won't actually probably fall into old routine after all there is that whole thing about it being a world that all the players can build.
As the daughter of engineers and of military service personal even despite the old world money. She is coming into her own and in Terrasphere something is waiting to happen waiting to take shape and she wants to be a part of that.
The world changes a lot in four years. Once the world of Terrasphere went down things started to take a turn for Nellie as well. She met Ryosuke and they at some point decided to get married with Ryosuke taking her back to Japan. Though she did take her brothers with her and for a while they were under alias'. She and Ryosuke had a daughter and that might have been one of the reasons why she was a bit late to Terrasphere's relaunching. With all the mouths to feed and the school work to look after and just plain old needed to take some time off she was later to reenter and now is coming back to aid her husband in all his endeavors since things are getting back underway. One can be sure to find her on the battlefield or in the medical tent doing what she can for those around her.
