As far as Kayden's concerned, she's been placed on this earth for no better reason than to have a good time before fucking off.
This much reflects directly to her in-game character, and she doesn't bother to hide any aspects of herself in the virtual world.
Victorious is sociable, constantly looking for new things to do, people to meet, thrills to experience. To her, not having adrenaline flowing means she's doing something wrong. That being said, she refuses to linger on one thing for too long and definitely avoids commitment.
This mentality also means she will stop at nothing to get what she wants, an obstinance that can certainly help her short term goals... but will often hurt her relations with those around her, including those she actually cares about.
Yuck! Good thing those don't exist in video games.

It started off as a distraction.
TerraSphere was just another game in a long list of video games meant to be a casual retreat from Kayden's daily life. The kind where she'd spend some of her free time indulging in, until it didn't quite give her enough dopamine anymore and she'd toss it out for the next big thing coming out.
But this underground VRMMORPG ended up being... different.
No matter how much she played, how much she explored and grinded, she never got tired of it. Somehow, the game pulled her in again and again every time. There was never that feeling of boredom that other games would eventually drag into, like it scratched some itch that nothing else could.
Eventually, it stopped being a distraction. Everything else was a distraction.
She’d spend less time on her studies. Less time on other hobbies. Less time with friends, family, her partner. To the point where all of those distractions gradually faded away.
TerraSphere wasn’t an escape anymore. It was her whole world.
Until that world also collapsed.
It was a complete shock to Kayden. By this point, TerraSphere was the only thing she had going for her. So to have that taken away from her, to be forced away from her retreat and back into the real world…
It made her realize her mistake- though, not before going through all the other stages of grief.
By the year 2033, she had moved on. Completely moved on, to an entirely different country, even.
The return of TerraSphere should have been something she’d blow off easily. But the rumor of a particular someone deciding to try out the now illegal and dangerous game drags her right back in…
For someone else this time, she tells herself.
