Lærke Jørgensen has a carefree attitude despite eir studious nature, and enjoys having a fun night out with eir friends after completing eir higher education classwork... well e would, if there wasn't unfiction media to watch and Internet mysteries to solve! After all, what's one night clubbing compared to the eternal glory of cracking the Cicada 3301 riddle? It would be nice to have someone to share in eir enthusiasm outside eir brothers... sure, eir highschool friends are nice, but it's only been eir siblings that would go visit sites and work on clue-sleuthing with em... There's one guy in eir website design class that seems maybe genuinely interested, but e've been wrong on that before he might be feigning the interest to spend time with em, ugh[. Anyway, he didn't matter now, as e have caught wind of possibly the most ambitious ARG project yet - Terrasphere!
Sepulchre af Umbral is here to solve the mystery of Terrasphere's existence, in both the in-universe lore and the meta-narrative! Here in Terrasphere, Lærke is able to fully exhibit eir passion for puzzles and the supernatural, no need to set it aside for a good first impression or the tedium of work even if e still don't have a friend that would join em... No key shall remain unturned thanks to the power of the Keyless! Clues shall be found, notes shall be shared! Ghosts will be haunted! Er, hunted. This cute lil' face and happy smile will be sure to lure them in and then Dark Magic and a grimoire will ensure they stay for tea.
(And well, if you're a Faerin, fae/faer pronouns only make sense, right?)

Background
Lærke Jørgensen had a fairly average childhood, although eir interests verged from eir peers from a young age. E was fortunate to have a supportive family when e came out as nonbinary during eir early tweens, even if there are some extended family that have a hard time with it. It certainly didn't make retaining friends any easier, although e still managed to have a couple close ones.
It was eir grandfather's tales of local legends and fables that planted eir love of the supernatural, going on from there to be an avid fairytale and horror story reader. That of course branched over to media, and it was stumbling across the ongoing creepypasta and SCP communities that lead em to spiral quickly into the world of unfiction and ARGs. And it was in those communities Lærke found a place where e fit in, where e weren't judged for eir interests and could blend in instead of stick out. Those spaces expanded into an interest in web design and community development, along with writing and storytelling of course. E even tried eir hand at developing a few unfiction series emself, but they fizzled out due to a lack of preparation and experience. E currently have an unfiction project e have been privately scripting for nearly five years now, but the older e get the more e fear it not being perfect or in a state worthy of being shared with the public. As such, e haven't told anyone e are working on it, not even eir two brothers.
Eir interest in unfiction had been waning when one day an advertisement interrupted the video e were watching on their phone which completely changed all that. It gave the illusion of eir phone being hacked and everything about it had em instantly hooked - the screen going black, the random girl narrating as her clothes and the scenery changed incomprehensively, the garbled speaking at the very end - and from there eir interest in the project sparked into a flame. Scouring the Internet for further information only hooked em more as lead after lead turned up dead or deleted or on obscure blog and forum posts. It soon became clear the only way to solve this mystery was from the inside, so that's what Lærke decided to do.
