Guts and Effort
These were once two phrases that described the self-proclaimed Hero of Justice the easiest way. Friendly, outgoing, and optimistic. Believing that deep down there is a good core in everybody. Taking life one day at a time and enjoying each moment to its fullest. A person others can rely on, trust, and look up to. Someone with the power to protect and stand against the unfairness of the world. Someone who, regardless of how many failures, comes back stronger, shining even brighter.
That is the person Seigi Ling Ling aspired to be, wanted to be. Idealistic and stupid to a fault. This has, to a degree, not changed.
If only it could still be so simple.
The past four years had worn down on Seigi. While she still holds true to her ideals, there are times when it's simply hard. And it can show. Sometimes lashing out at something that is not even there, or suddenly lost in a moment of day-dreaming, Seigi sometimes shows a different side of her.
Seigi is still loud, flashy, throws her body in-between the giant death lazor and the helpless newbie, and just does heroically silly things. But be alone with her in a room, and her interactions can range from silent and gloomy to her usual quirky nature. In fact, upon closer inspection, it may even come to shock that Seigi does now spend a few seconds thinking before making some big decisions, maybe.
Or maybe she's now simply a crazy, incoherent, mess at odds with herself!?

Background
Born as the fifth daughter of the CEO of the Raythean Company, Raina's early years were dictated by her strict parents to raise another corporate genius. Somewhat lonely and never feeling like she was fitting in, Raina instead found solace in the world of fiction. Comic heroes, shōnen manga, mecha figures, etc...
Obviously, it didn't take long for Raina to unfold her newfound interest further through the internet. Eventually discovering Terrasphere. Escaping further into virtual reality to escape the brand mark of being the family's black sheep, Raina created her alter-ego Seigi. Who was everything Raina wanted to be.
Having been playing for roughly two years, Seigi had tons of funand money and made many happy memories and friends. But she was also quickly accumulating some deaths, making her one of the first people to be UI locked - though believing it to be a bug created by the Dissonance at that point in time.
Things started going downhill from there. The implication of the UI-Lock, succumbing to her DAs, the Day of Disappearance. All of that, quickly happening in succession, ultimately drove Seigi to cut off most contact with those remaining. Instead, opting for the obligatory journey of self-discovery and reevaluation.
It was Zeus that ultimately tracked her down 2 years later, and took her under his tutelage once more. Establishing the Lion's Pride together with Levi, Seigi ultimately turned the position down for a multitude of reasons.
Nowadays, Seigi has still been keeping somewhat in the shadows, mainly using her wealth to generate more wealth, train to become stronger, and also being the financial strong-arm of an orphanage which mainly, but not exclusively, harbors young UI-locked kids too scared to put their lives on the line.

You cannot resist the temptation to taste as many different types alcohol as you could. While ones you have tasted can temporarily sate your thirst, overusing them will render them useless. You crave a variety of alcohol like vampire thirsting for blood. If you do not drink before a challenge, your thirst meter will drop to zero.
It whispers to you erratically, infecting your mind with darker thoughts, as an ancient tongue reminds you of just how weak and fragile you truly are, always, always tempting you with the possibility of greater strength. That crimson light, the grand might of divinity, the power to overturn the odds no matter how numerous. If you were to consign a piece of your soul too, perhaps...
The intricate system behind terrasphere saved your soul from being consumed by an eldritch horror, but it seems it wasn't enough. Until this death affliction is cleansed, your arms now absorb so much light they appear pitch black, just like the creature that ended your life. Whenever your hunger meter is low, these arms will release a harmless but unpleasant miasma and the dark effect will spread through your body until you sate your hunger.
Dissonant Soul. Feelings you can barely understand infest your very being. A poor soul, having fallen so many times, the Dissonance found it far too easy to infest your soul. A soul infected by Dissonance so strongly will only crave more of it's power and the negative energy its victim encounters. How long will you remain sane before your soul becomes as black as twilight?
When you hunger, only flesh can replenish you as other source of sustenance sickens you. Nothing is sweeter than that piece of succulent flesh waiting to go into your stomach. You can only eat meat (preparation doesn't matter) without feeling nausea.
