Since Seila Helen Icarus doesn't have any close friends anymore, she stumbled upon the QR code once while researching for a term paper in a pop-up ad from a random article online. She disregarded this as spam and a scamming/phishing attempt at first, but having a photographic memory is oftentimes a curse. She again noticed the same QR code during one of her graveyard shifts as a part-time SCADA engineer while browsing for something important (pr0n). Same pop-up ad. Same web page address. Creepy shit, amirite? But nah. She took this weird coincidence as a sign, her longing for an active social life fueling her curiosity.
