Personality
Disgruntled by the status quo of his day to day life, Jooyoung is a simmering pot waiting to boil over. His frustrations are bottled up and pent inside as he struggles to conform to the seemingly nonsensical norms of society. In essence, he's given up on society, given up on it's ability to reform, and come to the understanding that whatever minuscule ripple his efforts make within this pond are more or less fruitless endeavors. What once was seen as a young man with a promising future has slowly decayed into a jaded, pessimistic, outwardly calm and demure drone of society.
Ning Ru, the persona: Terrasphere serves as his outlet for relief, an escape from his daily Sisyphean tasks. And Ning Ru? The vessel in which he does so. Perhaps liberated by the burdens lifted from his shoulders, Ning takes on a much more lively and benefic outlook. Though outwardly grim and demure as a stylistic preference, he attempts to better the world through generosity and kindliness, allowing his actions to speak in his stead. Though primarily a considerate individual, Ning does present as a bit off cuff as he's known for wearing his heart on his sleeve.

Background
Jooyoung lives a pretty standard life according to societal norms. As the youngest of two children, he quietly grew up and enjoyed hanging out at pc bangs playing video games in his youth, served 18 months as part of the draft, and then proceeded to higher education upon release. After graduating from med school, he signed on as a pathologist working in a local hospital's lab, idling his days one cell slide after the next.
This hamster wheel of a routine continued without end until a mysterious QR code entered his work inbox. Originally thought to be a phishing attempt, he questioned the lab technician working under him who had supposedly sent it. Seemingly oblivious to the entire affair, she checked her sent messages only to find nothing there, a discrepancy. The two had marked it as a glitch in the system and wrote it off, or so she had thought. Curiosity got the better of the pathologist, as he attempted to access the code through a personal device once home, most likely the best decision of his life thus far.
