Personality
Okata is an outlet, a darker, freer LiLi living in game where things, morals and consequences are different. To Okata, everything is a game and they intend to play to their heart content. Or her. Or his. Because Okata shifts through genders according to their wishes or to fuck with people's head. Okata loves being able to be brutal, loves how they can kill bandits and make them squirm and how they get rewards for it.
Okata here enjoys gossip, spreading and hoarding it, blurring the lines of truth and lies. And Okata enjoys how though it is a different world, some things are still universal; the power of money for one, the power of strength for another. Might is right. Willing to do all manner of crimes, Okata feels no guilt and even pleasure from destroying lives; after al this is but a game.
Still Okata wants to avoid the annoying consequences, so Okata is slippery like an eel. Manipulation is great tool to help with it, as is being able to blend with shadows.
Okata sometimes plays up the creepy factor of their looks and race (going as far as modify them here and there) and other times they are so affable that people are drawn in despite their looks. Okata is a snake that will tempt you towards darkness.
Swimming and travelling by water is one of the pure pleasures for Okata and when in water, their mood is always good; for better or worse.

Background
LiLi is the youngest child and only daughter. Her father is an ambassador, his family purely Chinese while her mom is of Chinese-American descendant.
Through genetic lottery, LiLi turned out to be a mirror image of her maternal ancestor. Turquoise eyes and brown hair made her stand out from an early age, casting some doubt towards her legitimacy, which was luckily cleared via genetic testing.
But people outside family still thought that she is an adopted child. This caused a great shadow in LiLi's heart, which only grew as she grew. LiLi grew tall quickly, making people think she was many years older than she was in reality.
Her family, two older brothers and parents, seemingly spoiled her, but at the same time had no expectations of her. Worse, here and there her parents often sighed at lost chance with her looks that were not asian enough for profitable arranged marriage.
LiLi was smart, but she was not pushed or appreciated, all the academic or sport-related expectations were put on her brothers, who also easily achieved it.
When the family moved to Japan for her father's work, nothing changed. Or perhaps something changed. Somehow, in Japan she was seen as more exotic. Somehow, people at school thought she was a Western, who repeated year, or two due to her father's work and unstable schooling.
As she grew to look like an older teenager she got another type of attention. School lockers were filled with Love Letters, her bothers were thought to be her boyfriends, her going by car was thought as her having a 'sponsor' and horrible rumours were spread quietly at school. Only the fact that it was a school with strict rules, stopped outright bullying.
But rumours followed and her senpai were very interested in her. Harassment became a thing and only after she complained to her parents about it, she got transferred.
Things got worse in a different way: the new school and its high school division were very susceptible to bribes and the troubled kids of important people were abundant in that school.
Starting early puberty there was not great; especially as LiLi started to hate her body on some days, feeling that it was wrong gender one day, but perfect another.
Surrounded by scoundrels, seemingly spoiled yet unloved, LiLi's mentality started to wrap. She turned the attention she got to weapon, tasting the fruit of adulthood too early and started using the influence to have others do things for her. From running errands to harassing others.
Then, just as she was getting comfortable, her father's work moved them back to China… Only to move a month later to America.
And suddenly school difficulty sharply decreased. Suddenly she was no one exotic and while still beautiful, there were others as beautiful. Yet, things were easier, suddenly she found an explanation for why she sometimes felt like boy and other times like neither.
Still, getting to bars on her own was easy. And then in one of those, she scanned a QR code and an app called Terrasphere entered her world.
