Personality

If the phrase "I have no idea what I'm doing" manifested into a person you would get Marigold Diablo. Joining Terrasphere after having little to no experience with any type of video game what so ever, Marigold Diablo is here to become the world's greatest magic user but has no idea how to use magic and is basically just "wingin' it".

Having a love for stage magic in the real world, Marigold Diablo decided to go all in on magic in the digital world, though she refuses to use a UI because "That's not how a sorceress would cast spells in real life" even though there are no sorceresses in real life. Basically, Marigold Diablo is a strange, magic-loving, power hungry girl that dreams of being the most powerful magic user in Terrasphere and hopes to eventually become a mixture of The Wicked Witch of the West, Gandalf, Merlin, Dr. Strange, Dumbledore, Voldemort and The Scarlet Witch all rolled into one.

Positive: Determined, Entertaining, Spontaneous
Negative: Arrogant, Destructive, Flamboyant

Background

President, creator, and only member of her high school's unofficial magic club, Courtney Barkridge is a strange girl with no friends and a personality that scares away most. Obsessed with stage magic but exceptionally bad at it, Courtney practices her craft most of the day to the detriment of any sort of relationships and her schooling. Even so, she has thus for shown little to no improvement as a stage magician to date. Additionally, thanks to her obsession with stage magic and practicing everything from slight of hard to card tricks, her grades are dismal. Her parents are very worried about her, but hope that her nice figure and pretty face will land her a husband.

Searching the internet for new magic tricks, Courtney stumbled upon Terrasphere, a game which promised her the ability to use real magic. Seeing this as a fun opportunity to be a real wizard and maybe pick up some skills she could translate to the real world as a magician, Courtney jumped at the chance to join the game and eventually came upon a QR code.

Now, Courtney Barkridge has joined the game as Marigold Diablo. A name she picked up from a fantasy name generator which she believes is completely and utterly badass.

Wyld Mage -

Marigold doesn't use any preconceived casting style such as incantations, rituals, or psychokinetic elemental mastery. For some reason, Marigold commands magic intuitively asking her magic to do something and hoping it understood well enough to carry out her wish. Marigold understands nothing of how her magic works, other than that to utilize it she must typically put her hands out, shouts gibberish. The effect of doing this is that reality bends to either her benefit or her downfall.

Unknown to Marigold, her magic ability is rooted in the randomness of chaos. This allows her to bypass the rigor of actually learning magic spells and instead cast instinctively, though to what ends is impossible to guess. Due to this, Marigold Diablos' power is completely unquantifiable. With a wave of her hand she could as readily bring the stars crashing down as she could turn herself into a banana.

Controlling Chaos -

Having grown more accustomed to her magic, Marigold Diablo has devised a way to have at least a modicum of control over her chaotic powers. Instead of casting spells directly, Marigold uses her magic in tandem with the magical Pocket Frog she keeps under her hat. Reaching into the mouth of the Pocket Frog, Marigold is able to bring forth one-time use magical wands with tags listing the wands effect. Utilizing this method, Marigold can at least know what her magic will do before she uses it.

Marigold's Pocket Frog, Majolica -

A frog Marigold found by a river that she decided to tame and keep utilizing her Beast Arts ability. Whether due to this frog being born magical or due it having been privy to countless casts of Marigold's magic, the Pocket Frog's stomach has become an interdimensional space. When Marigold reaches into the Pocket Frog's interdimensional stomach, she can pull out magical wands with tags listing their usage effects. It is unknown how the Pocket Frog's stomach actually works, though its theorized that it could be a portal to a dimension of chaotic and random magical forces. Pulling wands out of the Pocket Frog does not injure or pain the frog.
