Personality

Lúthien is quite the extroverted being, something she has learned to embrace further ever since she branched off on her own at the young age of sixteen. She's always been good at connecting with people, and this in turn has always opened many doors and opportunities for the young woman, but like most there are personal aspects of herself that she doesn't share with anyone else.

That said she's not immune to slipping up, and Valeria can be known to be quite loud when upset... and that's without mention the rather colorful language that can slip out of those lips. She'll easily switch to "work mode" whenever the camera and lights are on, but once they're off the girl definitely wears her heart on her sleeve.

She despises hypocrisy, and will be blunt and true to herself to a fault. It'll be easy to tell if Lúthien likes you... and also if she doesn't.

Background

Valeria grew up in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, raised by a single mother that should've never been one. No father figure was ever in the picture for Val, mostly because her mother wasn't even sure who the man was or how to contact him, and growing up the girl never had a strong bond with her own progenitor.

Soon as Valeria had reached the age of sixteen the girl began the process to emancipate from her mother, having established a communication channel for the first time with her maternal grandparents a few years prior. Once the process was finalized she moved stateside to live with them, and with their help Valeria finished high school with average grades. However, just as Val had been about to head into college, their health suddenly took a decline for the worse.

This meant that for the next few years the girl focused on working and generating a steady revenue in order to care for their needs, finding she had quite the talent for online streaming and video games... among other internet based avenues. She was able to ensure her grandparents had good care for their last years of life, but they inevitably passed on—only a few months apart from one another.

Now Valeria lives in their old home, the house being left under her name in their will, as she makes ends meet comfortably through her hobbies. One night after streaming she suddenly came across an unexpected private message holding a link to a game... along with the promise that it would flip everything Val thought she knew about VR gaming upside down. At first she had been cautious, thinking it was just a phishing scam or a virus, but after a few days the girl finally decided to download TerraSphere 2 and give it a try...

... and boy, it blew her mind out alright.

Magical Focus

A treasured christmas gift received from Yugam, it helps channel her magic without consuming exorbitant amounts of energy. The collar is part of a set with his necklace, and the elven girl is never caught without it.

After the original moonstone cracked it was replaced by a blessed moonstone. One side depicts a full moon while the darkness of a new one lies on the other side.

Sunkissed Yladian Ranger Clothes

Medium Armor

A set of ranger clothes made by Yladian craftsmen, the leather has been treated and reinforced for extra protection without compromising movement and flexibility.

The set comes with a multi-use belt to which extra pouches for quick access and storage, and the quiver, are attached too. It also includes a traveling cloak to protect from the elements.

Valfreyju Stafr

A curious bow found in her UI inventory after the veildiving job. She's unsure of how it got there, or whom it came from, but its impecable craftsmanship is undeniable.

It takes minimal effort to operate the apparatus with magical runes on its side, as it was able to magically launch physical or magical projectiles with devastating speed and rate.

These arrows were created by Yladian master craftsmen, designed for stealth and precision. Every step in their creation ensures each arrow is well balanced to guarantee a true flight trajectory.

The arrowhead is made of cast steel, carefully refined before being attached to its dark oak wood shaft. The fletching is then carefully trimmed and hand tied to complete each one.

TRAIT DESCRIPTION

Dreamshare
A skill that had largely gone unnoticed by Lúthien... until she started spending enough time within TerraSphere to actually clock in a few naps and actual nighttime sleep. The elf is able to enter and transit the dream plane when her consciousness is submerged in deep slumber, granting her the ability to sneak glances and—in some cases—slip into the dreams of others... although she still lacks proper control over this unexpected skill. Abuse of this skill has led the elf to awake with nose bleeding, the intensity wholly dependent on how long the elf dream dives, and in some cases even earn a ❰ Groggy ❱ status on her HUD that takes a few hours to properly clear out.

Mindsend
Lúthien is able to project her voice telepathically towards others she can clearly see. Allows for a mostly untraceable way of communication, although the elf often forgets that this type of communication can be quite intrusive and invasive... especially when done for the first time with no prior warning to the recipient. Unfortunately her targets will be unable to reply to Lúthien's messages—unless they posses a similar ability of their own. In some cases Lúthien has been able to share imagery and visions using this skill, but the strain this imposes on her mental capabilities is higher and can result in spotty or failed messages.

Mindmeld 30ft radius
She's unsure when this elven trait developed, more often than not remaining as just a subtle presence in the back of her mind. Though already familiar with the skills necessary to read a room this ability greatly enhances them, making it quite hard to pull the wool over her eyes. There’s just a few major issues: this thing doesn’t have an off button—like ever—and she’s quickly learned that the emotions of some people can be quite loud and overwhelming in certain cases. In some rare cases Lúthien has been able to combine this skill with her ❰ Mindsend ❱, enabling the elf to project images and emotions telepathically to others.
