Personality

Langley is a thrill-seeker and hedonist in the making, always open to trying new things and enjoying them to the fullest. He's here to make friends, have a good time, and do a whole bunch of stunts that you can only get away with in a game with magic and monsters.

A lot of this is in reaction to how he had been as Lana Prost, too timid by half to try out everything she had secretly wanted to. While Lana is trying to shed her hesitant nature and become more outgoing, somehow it just feels easier be that better version of herself in Langley's body.

Background

Like a lot of people who had been sickly as children, Lana had gone through most of her childhood missing out on a lot of things. Protective and well-meaning (but perhaps overly nervous) parents meant that she grew up cared for but coddled, not having the opportunities to try things outside of her comfort zone.

During Terrasphere's original wave of fame, despite the fervor that a lot of her classmates and friends spoke of it with, she had been too timid and straight-laced to give it a try. Once she seemed to have mostly grown out of her illness and was able to move out and live life on her own terms, the fact that she let Terrasphere pass her by had always been among her many regrets.

But now it's back, and she has a chance at actually giving it a try for real? No way is she letting it slip away a second time. Time to take the plunge and try what she had been too afraid to do before, ~~in more ways than one, perhaps...~~

Langley fights mostly hand-to-hand (or foot-to-face, as it were), using his Martial Arts to attack his foes and defend himself in combat with Guard Arts. His fighting style--as much as he has one, given that he still mainly relies on the auto assist function--mainly uses kicks.

His Shadow Arts are more used for utility than they are for combat. He is mostly familiar with the ability to store and retrieve items from his shadow, as well as moving around via short-range teleportation with his shadowstepping. Sometimes, he will coat his limbs in shadowy energy to give his attacks some more firepower.

After unfortunately having his right arm eaten, Langley has had a new arm grown for him courtesy of Ludmilla Orphys. It is covered in a shell of bone and horn, and seems to move as if it has a mind of its own at times.
