Personality
Amy has always been a pretty optimistic person. Of her friend group, she was the one that could always look at the glass as half-full while the rest were half-empty or the "it's just a glass of water" type. She would always push to do things outside, preferring to spend her time in the sun rather than trapped inside the house. Her parents weren't extremely strict, only giving her a curfew until the time she was 16. By then she had proven that she wouldn't stay out too late anyway, and they didn't have to worry at that point.
While she is social, she's not much of a party-goer. She's found that those kinds of environments are a bit too loud for her tastes and she'd much rather go home early to work on another one of her projects. Despite that, she does have her moments where she can be a bit more reckless. This can be seen when out with her friends and trying to become the center of attention. Though, perhaps it could also pair with the fact that she is more book smart than she is streetwise.
Amy is fiercely loyal to her family and friends. She won't go out of her way to get into a physical altercation, but she isn't above siding in small passive-aggressive comments when confronting someone. If someone throws fists because of that, she'll try to fight back; "try" being the keyword as strength isn't her strong suit.
Day-to-day, Amy is just a bubbly individual that wants to make the best of what the world throws at her. She's always open to meeting new people and becoming friends with any who wishes to join her little bubble of the world.
Positive: Social, Positive, Bubbly
Negative: Easily Distracted, Passive-Agressive, Reckless
Background
Amy's life was pretty normal up until she became an adult. Both of her parents had jobs that sustained their lifestyle in Japan and allowed them to give Amy nearly anything that she wanted. That isn't to say that she was spoiled or demanded things on a whim, instead she asked for minimal things. She picked up drawing at a young age: first doodling in class, then doodling at home, and then just wherever she was she brought a drawing pad with her.
That was what lead to, perhaps, the most expensive thing she ever asked for, a tablet so that she could get into drawing things digitally. There her thoughts started leading to drawing fantastical clothes, things that you wouldn't particularly see in the real world but that she had seen in games that her friends played. While she didn't partake in the games, she'd sit and watch them play, completely fascinated by what they were doing and all the beautiful designs the games had in them.
Her friends had picked up Terrasphere back when it was legal to play, but she has never joined in. This was especially true when word started getting out about people dying while playing the game. She wouldn't pick up any games until after she graduated high school. Of course, picking up games that allowed you to customize what your character looked like and what they wore. It was around this time that she decided she'd go to school for fashion. She took a job at a clothing store near her house, learning more about fashion from the others there.
As the few years passed to the current time, Amy had heard whispers of Terrasphere coming back. She had shaken her head in disbelief when her friends told her that they had picked up the game again. The price was too high in her mind. That would come to change with the knowledge that one of her friends had become locked in the game. Devastated that someone that she was so close to could only be spoken to while playing the game, she had made the rash decision to start it up herself. Her friends were like her family, and she didn't enjoy the thought of losing them permanently when there was a way to still communicate with them.
