Personality
Haru is a shy person. Most of the time, she struggles to interact with people because she is afraid of what they will think of her. But when she is close to someone or is beginning to feel more comfortable, people are able to witness a very colorful and kind side of her. Other than her being shy and insecure, she is also very hardworking. Haru does whatever she can to help those in need. Haru's in-game persona mirrors her real life one. Even in a virtual reality game like Terrasphere, Haru finds it impossible to be someone she isn't.

Background
Haru had a strict upbringing. For most of her life, she was told what to do by her parents. This heavily affected Haru's development so as she got older, she would always depend on someone to tell her to do something as she is unable to think or to decide for herself. However, there were a few good things in her life. Those being her grandmother and music.
Since she was a little girl, Haru loved music. Her major influence was her grandmother who was an excellent piano player. Unfortunately, when Haru wanted to pursue music as a career, her parents denied her. Thankfully, her grandmother got involved and managed to send Haru to one of Japan's most prestigious art schools. But around the time she got accepted, her grandmother sadly passed away. This had hurt Haru but she still pushes through. She wanted to be become a stronger, more independent person. Just like her grandmother.
After finishing her sophomore year in university, Haru bought a VR adapter to play some games with her friends during their break. At some point, Haru got in contact with a sketchy individual that granted her a code that allows her access to the controversial Terrasphere. She kept quiet about it and never touched the game for a long time. In the end, curiosity takes the best of her as she enters the world of Terrasphere.
