Personality
Skyler is a quiet individual, to the point where they can be mistaken as entirely introverted. This isn't totally the case, as while Skye would prefer to remain out of large social gatherings they aren't entirely uncomfortable within them. They can be described as a "social chameleon", being able to converse with others with ease. Skye is a little soft spoken, and will only really talk about themselves when prompting, and is all around an individual that is unassuming and unobtrusive.
Contrasting the person behind them, Gwyn is a very talkative and social person in a way that Skye is not. Gwyn is boisterous and energetic, interacting and joking with anyone who is open to doing so with them. They are also more prone to seeking out confrontation than their player, taking a certain joy in a good back and forth. Similarly, they greatly enjoy fighting and display an almost manic pleasure when in combat.

Background
There is not much to be said about Skye's life, to be completely frank. They were raised by parents that didn't really understand them and pushed them to be and do things that they had wanted for themselves, but could never achieve. They felt alone more often than not, and one of the ways they found they enjoyed reading as a form of escapism, growing enamored with fantasy stories and the idea of traversing worlds unlike the one they already inhabited.
This love for reading and stories transferred to a love for video games as soon as Skye was introduced to them, and while their interest in other things waxed and waned they always had a love for fantasy RPGs. They loved the concept of a game wherein they could be whoever they wanted, be made into their ideal self replete with cool powers and perfect aesthetics. When they heard of Terrasphere and the controversies surrounding it, they were endlessly intrigued and disappointed that it was being stonewalled so adamantly.
Much to their pleasure within a few years the game was opened again. Skye had to copy it from their friend, who so lovingly charged them 50 bucks for the pleasure, but it would no doubt be worth it. Who wouldn't want to play the world's most cutting edge RPG?
