Personality

Glamora Dark is a troublesome sorceress. Always scheming to get ahead, she is an expert at cutting corners and putting things off. Mischievous and power hungry to the core, to no one's surprise, she is a magnet for trouble.

Her hobbies include greedily chasing wealth, finery, and sorcerous power. She also loves to travel and see the sights and leave her little mark on things like a bad tourist. Her shamelessness is borderline inspirational.

A proud eccentric, her quirky spells tend to blow up in her face. Still, she can be rather inventive… sometimes.

Background

Maryanne is the former governor of Rhode Island. She ran on an independent ticket based on a populist reform plan for the small state based around sustainability, renewal, and more efficient space management. Ultimately, her policies became mired in bureaucracy and her popularity waned.

She's now retired after being forced to resign in her second term due to her attempting to circumvent the state senate. She will attempt to play it off with a laugh, but this experience deeply scarred her.

Glamora Dark (Glamdark for short) is a volatile, greedy, vainglorious, sorceress.
She has Gambling, Dark Magic, and Minion Master Themes.

She calls herself The Darkmaster. She is an expert in Dark Matter, the supposed energy source of her problematic magic. Its nature is mysterious, like a meteor of an unknown element from another universe.

Quackles:

Glamdark generally prefers using countless weak but disposable impish plushie minions to deal with problems she'd rather not bother with. Quantity over Quality is the name of the game. And if she can win cheaply, all the better!

When it comes to Quackle minions, there are solider types, mage types, and medical types, based on her equipped actions.

They were originally meant be be grackles, but she somewhat lost the plot along the way. There's some duck and other birds mixed in there. They can somewhat fly.

Dark Rituals: Territory and Item Creation,
Glammy is also capable of deploying magic rituals to create items and seize and modify territories. These abilities are related to her personal magic territory "The Dark Parlor" but when the gaze of The World is especially strong, these spells tend to be far less effective because they are alien to the rules of reality.

****Notes on Dark Magic:
Glamdark's dark magic is actually rather weak because she lacks any serious forms of malice, she's just skilled at making use of its efficiency and excels at cutting corners to produce marvelous effects beyond her capabilities. Because of this, her magic can be unreliable but hardly dangerous. Her spells are characterized by an extreme level of min-maxing that unfortunately leaves their cores unstable.

****Notes, Anatomy of a Quackle (Dark Magic, Arcanamancy, Spirit Magic)
Glammy's Quackle Dolls make use of dummy-souls (Spirit Magic), that she places into doll bodies (Arcancamancy), which she fuels and controls with contracts (Dark Magic). When a doll is broken, she recycles the spirit, so she never feels bad about losing her units.
