Personality
Ciara is fiery, from the jump. She's an adrenaline junkie and the type of person that will do anything so long as it promises to be exciting and interesting for her. Anything that gets the blood pumping and the adrenaline flowing is okay in her book. It doesn't matter if she has to break any rules or laws in order to do so. In fact, she almost actively prefers to break rules. She has a problem with authority and she wants to make that everybody else's problems.
She's the type of person that will pursue self-indulgence above all else and can't really be reasoned with morally. The best that can really be done is to appeal to her sense of fun and adventure, if you're trying to get her to do something, or refrain from doing something. Threatening her with consequence just doesn't work.
She's also the type of person to crave and lust after power, seeking it out as much as she can. In the real world, it's wealth and social status. But in Terrasphere, there aren't really any limits to the dark deals she'd make and the reckless risks that she'd take in return for power.
That said, it cannot be said that she isn't a fun person to be around. She creates her own fun and isn't afraid to drag the people around her into it.
Positive: Confident, Open, Adventurous, Strong-Willed
Negative: Hedonistic, Callous, Reckless, Stubborn
Background
Ciara was always treated like more of a boy than a girl. Perhaps her parents had known early on that she'd never really been into girly things the same way that many of her peers in school were? It was hard to say, but they'd always been kind've well off and wealthy, enough to send her to an all girls boarding school in order to give her the best education their money could buy. It had been at that boarding school that Ciara had realized how boring rules could make life.
And how important it was was to have power. She got bullied. A lot. It made her angry and bitter about things, about how even when her family were decently well off, there were people out there higher than them, richer than them, able to push her around and treat her as if she was nobody and that she didn't matter. It showed her that power could open so many doors that talent and hard work simply couldn't.
Might made right.
That was when she turned to hacking and crypto-mining, to shore up her own wealth even further, raking in a lot of money from people she'd hacked or from selling crypto to people that would then go on to lose it or something like that. She didn't care what they did with it. And she always made sure to cover her tracks, as well as help her family ascend socially through their wealth and businesses.
But it was still boring. The real world was governed by too many laws, made by the weak to limit the powerful. Sure, once you were rich enough, the law was less binding and more of a fine that one had to pay to act as they pleased, but she wanted a chance to know what REAL power felt like.
And turned to gaming to find it. First it was as a PvP'er and griefer in regular games, then she made the transition to VR, but it all felt so dull and lifeless.
And then Terrasphere reopened. And Ciara couldn't have scrambled faster to obtain the client.
