Personality

While in game Fuxi dons the persona a sadistic warrior. His home is on the field of battle, his pleasure the pain of his enemies, and his ecstasy, their untimely demise. Or timely, considering he'll still only ever kills mobs who are destined to die at the players' hands.

That doesn't mean he'll back down from a fight with another player though. And don't even think about messing with the smartly dressed woman he's always with. Seemingly the only person who can press Fuxi into doing anything is that woman, Nuwa, though the exact nature of their tumultuous relationship is anyone's guess.

Out of game, Fuxi returns to being Jie Liu. Though seemingly able to get along with just about anyone, something never seems quite right about the boy who's constantly dogged by his twin. It can be hard to tell if he's ever being genuine, or if he's just playing along to keep others content with his existence.

Positive: Daring, Objective, Thorough
Negative: Amoral, Sadistic, Fiery

Background

Born to parents with crippling vices, Jie and his twin sister, Jia, seemed ill-fated from the very start. If it wasn't drugs that left their parents in semi-catatonic states, it was knee deep gambling debts the family could never hope to pay off. Inevitably, one thing lead to another, and before the pair were old enough truly understand what was happening, they were separated from their parents.

It wasn't so much a tearful tearing apart of families. Their parents hardly cared for them to begin with. Accidents. And the twins had still had each other. That was all the comfort they needed.

As time went on however, the pair began to realize even that was in jeopardy. The foster system wasn't always capable of keeping siblings together, so what difference did it make if they were twins? Foster home after foster home, not one family seemed to take to the children for one reason or another, and every single time, the twins feared it would be the last time they saw each other.

And then one day it happened. Jia was sent to a different family, torn away from Jie's grasp. The only constant in his life. The only comfort.

He didn't eat or sleep for days.

Until one day she came back to him. She'd ran away from her new home, to him, carrying with her a whole host of fresh suffering that Jie hadn't been there to shield her from. Or at least share in her pain.

What had seemed like the beginning of a nightmare for the pair soon became a blessing in disguise however. Realizing how important it was for the twins to remain together, Jie's newest foster family, the Liu's, fought to keep them together this time, eventually adopting both children into their little family.

Now heading into college, and despite no longer having to worry about being separated again, the pair are still attached to the hip, seldom seen without the other. If anything, their newfound safety has allowed them to become closer than ever before.

Despite having few friends, Jie one day managed to hear of VRMMO game called 'Terrasphere'. Undeterred by its apparently illegal standing (if anything, it only made him more interested), Jie dove head first into the game, before inviting along his twin, who eagerly leapt in after him.
