Personality

In the real world, Almira, better known as L-MIRA, is nothing but a stone cold ice queen. With few acquaintances, and even fewer friends (if any at all) the woman has always kept her distance, doing little to garner the favor of others. While she refrains from being an outright bitch, her aloofness does mean that those she interacts with are just as inclined as she is to make any connection with her beyond professional, that is, none at all.

On stage, L-MIRA has kept much of her older sister personality that was required of her during her time as a member of the Slime Girls, though it has lost much of the girlish sweetness she was once known for. Her new 'girl crush' persona had initially resulted in a large drop in her fanbase, though it has since recovered a great number of those losses.

In-game, FORTUNE plays the part of a seductive, confident woman who knows what she wants and just how to get, living out the hedonistic lifestyle that would create scandal after scandal for her if she did any of it in real life. Not above manipulating, cheating or using any other tools at her disposal to make her way to the top of the Terrasphere hierarchy. The only line she won't cross is murder.

Positive: Ambitious, Driven, Competitive
Negative: Aloof, Amoral, Competitive

Background

Almira grew up in South Africa with the dream of being a performer. She always wanted to be on the big stage, singing, dancing, making people happy with her music. Of course, dreams, a living, do not make, and her father was certain to make that very clear to her from a young age. Encouraged by her mother, who wanted nothing less to be the mother of a celebrity, Almira chased this dream for years, until it ultimately brought her to South Korea.

Her mother's home country, full of art and entertainment, Almira worked hard to achieve her dream. Her debut never seemed to come though. Her father continued to remind her what a stupid idea it was to move to Korea, and her previously supportive mother grew increasingly frustrated with how long it was taking for her daughter to become famous, citing that she must not be working hard enough.

Eventually, her parents divorced.

Finally though, after seven years, the day Almira had been waiting for finally came. In 2028, she debuted as part of a five member group known as the Slime Girls.

During their five years performing, the Slime Girls grew to international fame, becoming a name recognizable by anyone who paid even the slightest amount of attention to the music scene. Although she played the role of the sweet older sister of the group on stage, when the group wasn't performing, Almira kept her distance from the other members of her group, though she eventually began to consider them friends, as was wont to happen when she lived in the space with them for years on end.

In 2033 though, Almira case off the name of the Slime Girls (a name she hated) alongside her leader Song Dayeon. Going their seperate ways, Almira moved to America where she's since become a solo act, a huge part of her fanbase following her despite her decision to leave the Slime Girls behind.

One night, lazily watching videos online after a long day at the recording studio, a mysterious ad interrupted the little relaxation time she had. A blue pigtailed girl advertised a game known as Terrasphere. Normally, Almira wasn't one for games. But her life had been lacking lately. She was bored with fame, with the never-ending acting she did for her fans. Maybe a game where she could be anyone and anything she wanted would make her life exciting in a way it never had been before. The next day, Almira went out and bought a VR headset, downloaded Terrasphere, and dove into the game for the first of what would become countless times.

FORTUNE prefers to not get her hands dirty, often getting others to complete unsavory tasks for her. However, if her direct intervention is required, FORTUNE forges a path to success by altering the battle conditions themselves. Via her illusions, she'll alter the perception of her enemies, distracting them, misdirecting them, or otherwise tricking them. And when it comes to handling the occasional goon on her own, FORTUNE's craftiness and knack for improv can see her through to the end of the day.

Equipment

Letter Opener

Weapon

FORTUNE's own makeshift weapon, a thin letter opener, forged from silver. It's thin handle bears elegant flower engravings. Though the blade is fragile, and prone to snapping in two, the careful way FORTUNE handles the weapon has kept it in good condition.

Loaded Die

Weapon

A loaded dice, weighted to land on a six. It glows bright blue when magic channels through it, often floating around her body when used. Beyond it's usage as a focus (and a method cheat), there really isn't anything that remarkable about this little piece of ivory.

Seductive Clothing

Medium Armor

A set of blue, rather seductive clothing. While it toes the line, it doesn't quite cross the line into skimpy. Illusion Enchantments allow FORTUNE to displace her physical form from what her opponents see, giving her a slight edge in combat, and allowing her to avoid some small amount of damage.

Trait Descriptions

Dark Blessing. Making use of a Dark Blessing leaves FORTUNE with mounting frustrations. These vexations will continue to build until FORTUNE either finds a way to release her pent up frustration, or it overwhelms her mind and kills her.
