Personality
Nico is a caring and determined woman, committed entirely to the people she values the most, if she can actually open up to others. Experience, both from her family and old friends, taught her not to go past arm's reach with everyone, and only in a few cases did the rule break. She won't hesitate to cross as many lines as possible for these, yet deep down the cynical in her still considers them a very rare exception.
Whenever she steps into Terrasphere, it becomes a different story, with Fiora lacking the exaggerated expressions or unhinged anger that people know the pinkette for. She tends to be reserved for the most, yet willing to assist everyone within the cursed game, often playing the role of a temporary mentor for the inexperienced before parting ways.
In the end, every Player is expendable and looking after themselves. She's no exception to that, and thus, will never hesitate to lay down a life or two when deemed necessary, as such is the nature of the game.
Positive: Determined, Practical, Selfless, Shrewd, Caring.
Negative: Cynical, Steely, Reactive, Fixed, Blunt
Background
Born in Italy and brought all the way to the U.S, from an objective standpoint she didn't have a terrible childhood, barren her own decisions. Her parent's attention switched to their second borne after little Nico turned 6, and suffered the classic firstborne syndrome years later that made her resentful as she became object of comparisons with her much more talented and passive younger brother. When the girl in the family goes around biting fellow toddlers and instigating anarchy all by herself, it's easy to see why.
The lack of validation made her sink into hobbies she saw unorthodox at first, which required far less human interaction: gaming and literature, specifically comics and competitive games she could triumph on her own, and being surprisingly good at it earned her some fame, despite her streams holding a small community and being nothing out of the ordinary but an angry gamer trashtalking others in-front of a camera. This continued on until VR games became a golden egg chicken of sorts. The limitations set upon them, however, just deterred her from trying them out for long, despite the experience blasting off the waters any other game genres for her. In the end, she started to lose her interest, she started to stream less and less, and actually became a productive member of society, earning her own pay, despite her lack of advanced studies leaving her little options. Still, as a library assistant she got to meet a lot of like-minded readers, and the strict iron-hand of the old codger in charge taught her some discipline.
Wasted potential and bla bla bla, It wasn't until the rumours of Terrasphere's comeback begun to float that she became almost paranoid to chase after the 'diabolical' game. A game with no restrictions, pulling back no punch and granting everyone the opportunity for an immersive experience that she only dreamt about in her cheesy fan-fiction stories. Sure, she had to twist a few arms and put some threats on the few she eavesdropped, having collected enough favours around the library made it all the easier to get a hold of the rumours of who owns a copy of it anyways.
